X-Men: Evolution is an American animated television series based on the X-Men superhero team appearing in Marvel Comics. The series takes inspiration from the early issues of the source material and follows the X-Men as teenagers rather than adults, as they learn to control their developing mutant powers and face various threats. X-Men: Evolution ran for a total of four seasons comprising 52 episodes from November 4, 2000 to October 25, 2003 on Kids' WB, which made it the third longest-running Marvel Comics animated series at the time, behind Fox Kids' X-Men and Spider-Man. The series was aired on Disney XD from June 15, 2009, to December 30, 2011.

Man, Spyke’s return is amazing. His continual mutation, new powers, and the introduction of Leech are great. As well as showing off how humans still hate mutants.
Once again, sorry for 4x5, I’ll try to save the video on my old computer lol, unfortunately can’t guarantee it will be.
I was always disappointed that Rogue and Kurt didn't have more time to hash out their feelings over Mystique's death rather than just this episode. Plus I wish the show gave us more Gambit/Rogue!
I think there are 3 reasons why Wolverine is so mad at Pyro
1 A student is missing, probably abducted.
2 Pyro is gleefully rewatching his boss' demise whereas Logan holds loyalty high among his principles.
3 Fire might not put Logan down, but it can HURT.
I always wonder how old is Rouge and Gambit but thats why we have the internet to look it up
Rogue was about 17 in this episode, Gambit is in his early 20s or so. A little icky, admittedly...
I think Gambit is 18 or 19 to Rogue's 16 or 17 during this time.
Thats perfectly fine with me.
Considering the general ages of most of the characters in this show, I think its safe to say if they arent beating you over the head making sure you know these are fully grown adults then its safe to assume they are mid to late teens.
In seasons 2 & 3 rogue was 17 & gambit was 18.
In season 4 rogue is 18. Gambit is 19.
According to tptb anyways.

Ya I’ll mention this again when you upload the reaction to the last episode but in retrospect I get the feeling this is one of those episodes that was setting the stage for expanding upon the Gambit/Rogue dynamic in a season 5 but because Evolution got cancelled well as they say the rest is history
Who knows, X-Men TAS has been revived, perhaps...

Gambit took a page, out of Mystique's book, on how to manipulate Rogue.
How does watching this episode feel after watching X-Men 97 episode 5?

Definitely MY #2 Fave Animated Version of Gambit. Love Him BUT can’t Beat Gambit from ‘92 & ‘97 (RIP😢)
Prefer those 2 than from Wolverine&TheXMen. He’s a scoundrel as in The Bad Kind that You DO NOT Like even though He’s as charming as The Other Two
I didn’t really like Nightcrawler’s complete 180 in this episode. He went from being really upset to basically forgiving Rogue sans apology for getting rid of Mystique. Especially considering behavior at the end of this season.
