On the show, they left out a part of the son's name,Chrstopher- Scott's father's first name? So ,the son's fullname is Nathan Charles Christopher Summers, the Charles part was in honor of Professor X,Scott had two father figure in his life before having a son of his own?.
The dress she's wearing is very similar to one she wears in the comics on her and Gambit's first date. And Cable is voiced by the guy who voiced Gambit in the original, Chris Potter.
This was a great episode. It was a very insane, intense, and dark episode. The writers are killing it with these episodes. It is nice to see Nightcrawler again as well his bond with adoptive Rogue and Gambit. Talk about so many emotions. Gambit wants a relationship with Rogue but can't because of Rogue powers to not be able to touch. Cyclops dealing with giving up his son. The media is all in the X-Men business. Jean is not trusting her memories. Because she can't tell if it actually her or Madelyne Pryor. But wow, she actually kissed Wolverine. And man, her being pissed off a Scott for having a psychic connection with Madelyne Pryor. Rogue is caught in a love triangle with Gambit and Magneto. I'm happy that the show gave us a backstory into Rogue pasted relationship with Magneto before joining the X-Men. We get to see Cable as an adult. The Sentinel attacking the mutants of Genosha was insane with so many mutants getting killed. It seems that were the images Madelyne Pryor had seen when she used her powers to get into Henry Gyrich mind for information in episode 1. Man Magneto and Gambit sacrificed themselves to save the mutants as well. When Rogue was holding Gambit and she said sugar... I can't feel you line my thoughts was oh f*ck that line hurts bad. RIP Gambit Great job to the voice actress of Rogue Lenore Zann did a fantastic job with that line. This may be the best episode so far. I can't wait for episode 6 next Wednesday. But anyway I hope you have a wonderful day. Stay safe, take care and stay amazing Allona.
Thank you for your comment. You touched on so many things that resonate with as well. This episode was heartbreaking but definitely the best one yet without a doubt. Thank you again and I hope you have a great day as well. 😁
I couldn’t believe what I saw in this episode yesterday. I finally got to see the mutant nation of Genosha that they mentioned so much about. Everything about it was beautiful. All of them, regardless of their gender or backgrounds, are one because it was their genetic powers that made them feel rejected by their homes in the human world. To be in a place where everyone you see before your eyes are just like you, it’s a real blessing because they’re all victims of extreme prejudice and persecution that found a sanctuary where they could be free to just be themselves and no one will blindly hate you ever again. To see the statues of both the Professor and Magneto, it demonstrates how these two changed the world for their kind; one with the dream of coexistence while the other has the vision of freedom for them. When they were under attack, it reminded Erik of his younger years when the Nazis were rounding up the Jewish community and slaughtering them like cattle. We can’t even imagine to be in his shoes; one where he already lost one people and therefore, he’d be dammed to lose another. Besides Fassbender’s Magneto, this is the one time that I was worried for his well-being when he was cornered and shocked when he was killed along with the Morlocks. When Gambit was lost, I was totally devastated because I feel that I was just beginning to know him and see why he is such a fan favorite, but before that, he eliminated the Sentinel threat by going out with a bang, literally. His sacrifice will never be forgotten. Bonne nuit, Remy Lebeau. 👑♠♥♦♣💜
I did not want to write this haha, but I will anyway, thanks for your reaction first I had fun watching you, and as you said in other comments we Cyclops fans are really passionate about the character, so here I go, something really interesting that Claremont did when he gave more importance to Storm in the comics is that he gave us a really complex and nuanced character among those things was putting Storm in the leadership position instead of Cyclops ( this was in the 80s talk about inclusion and they have done this since then) which in turn lead to Cyclops and Madelyne Pryor to leave the X Men and raise their son Nathan, eventually he came back to take the position back again and they competed for the leadership of the team which was interesting for the comic, what I am trying to say is I love both characters they are really interesting, in the case of Cyclops if you understand his mutation, he cannot control it he depends on his visor to be able to live his life, so Charles gave him the leadership position because what he saw was an introverted kid from an orphanage who was that way because he was afraid of his mutation, and taught him acceptance of his condition by teaching him about control through his leader skills (as an introverted kid myself I identified a lot with him), Storm is always in control of herself and she can be motherly and sweet but very objective as well so she is a great leader when she holds that position, but when the mutants are in danger to the brink of extinction (like in this episode), in the comics who has demonstrate that he would go any length to defend his people is Cyclops, he has challenged the entire world to protect mutants even the Avengers and the Fantastic Four if necessary, something even Storm has said she could not go that far when certain moral issues present themselves, If you don´t like Cyke, is fine not everyone likes the same, but at least try to understand that he is a really powerful, complex, and a nuanced character just as Storm is, and what is coming for her next week , Geez I can´t wait to see it this series is sooooo good!
First off I want to thank you for better understanding. You are one of the first ppl who actually came up here to better help me understand him rather than burn me on the stake because of my criticism towards him. Thank you for your time and patience and your willingness to educate me instead of being demeaning. I hope you have an amazing weekend ❤️
oh, they can do dark.. just not usually in animation... the reason why they did it is because X-Men 97 is for fans of the show original and those people are much older. Now they need some adult themes and boy did it delivered.... even the 9/11 easter egg ... when they were all watching TV at the end and beast says oh my.. that helpless feeling is how we all felt while watching everything go down on 9/11 on TV.. what's even crazier I caught that Easter egg because of how I felt but also they visually did it if you watch the smoke pile there are two of them on tv it's shaped like the twin towers. RIP I noticed that one on the re-watch ,, even breakdowns for the video didn't get it. but yeah, younger crowd that was just a very very small percentage of how we felt that day on 911 that helplessness.
LOL the part Rogue was holding Gambit was like Lois holding Clark/superman at the end of death of superman in the comics when superman fought doomsday but I still think Gambit lives anytime you see cable he's trying to fix the time line plus I think Apocalypse is coming
Omg girl I know. Hits you right in the feels. I was balling. Both those men that love Rogue died, just went out like badasses!!! Cable better be able to come back just a bit earlier to prevent this. I'm just saying!!!
Congratulations you just earned a new subscriber. The really sad thing is Leeches power is to negate other mutant powers so when he was hugging Magneto he was also draining his powers while he was trying to save the morlocks an Gambit and Rogue.
Yeah this episode did a number on the feelings here like damn. But there was a reason why we saw the Watcher in the night sky let alone Cable showing up so I figure he's gonna play a big role in this chaos of an episode later on but this was a great but sad episode too. Genuine reaction as always Allona I'm actually not surprised that you cried. Can't wait to see your next reaction to this awesome series
Cable came in and said “not again” so that lets me know he has been trying to stop this from happening on more than one occasion. So basically this entire episode will be rewritten when Cable gets whatever is going wrong with his time traveling fixed.
Awww don't cry "Chère" ....Gambit is going to be alright....They haven't display Gambit's true powers yet....Gambit can self-heal and disable touch-based abilities...like Rogue. So, Rogue is just going to find out that she could touch Gambit.
Actually Cable (Madelyn Pryor son) came from the future to warn them of the Godzilla 🐲 Sentinels coming from his timeline. Those machines are much more advanced at killing mutants in the future. As you can see , Cable was too late to warn everyone. Those Sentinels are from the future.
I watched this episode late last night. I saw your recap and reactions today and it had me laughing. Near the end of the episode when things went sideways, I was right there with you. Mind blown and heart broken. Something I really like about Magneto's character development is that Beau DeMayo gave him eloquent and poignant vernacular (just like in the Comics). But Spiral does have a lot of arms and is an assistant to MoJo, so to speak. The furry thing wrapping Storm in their arms is “The Adversary” Enjoy having your world crushed with this episode. Byyyyye

In regards to Scott, I think you're seeing that he's obviously a flawed man in his personal life. However in the field, he is the greatest tactician the Xmen ever had. Jean is flawed as well, both characters have been trained since they were teenagers to fight against a world that hates them. Now they're sort of rebelling against that ideal since they don't have their mentor around. In the comics Xavier wasn't exactly a good person either, there's a bunch of morally reprehensible stuff that he's done as well. Just saying everyone has character flaws.
It episode was amazing in the worst possible way. I think you've had the most emotional reaction that I've seen so far, but it was so warranted. This episode is such a massive gut punch! The head writer/showrunner said that this episode is the season just "warming up". I'm afraid to know what happens next, haha.

On the show, they left out a part of the son's name,Chrstopher- Scott's father's first name? So ,the son's fullname is Nathan Charles Christopher Summers, the Charles part was in honor of Professor X,Scott had two father figure in his life before having a son of his own?.
Scott's dad Christopher Summers, was a space pirate leader of the team called the Starjammers ?.
the best reaction video about this episode. She was genuine and emotional. I love how he resists crying, but I couldn't make it in the end.
This episode is worth seeing peoples reaction to. First time catching your channel.
Thanks for stopping by!❤
“Bout every-damn-body whatchu mean?!”
Line of the reactionsphere 😂
I'm so relieved I wasn't the only one who cried. 😂
this episode was great watch, it was like 20 minutes of soap opera then boom last 10 minutes Game of thrones type of show. so good! Gambit MVP!
Right so messy and then your heart is broken in a billion pieces. 💔
1 million mutants died in Genosha. Check the comic book.
The dress she's wearing is very similar to one she wears in the comics on her and Gambit's first date. And Cable is voiced by the guy who voiced Gambit in the original, Chris Potter.
Gambit is the real hero
Gambit is kyle Reese
From Terminators
👍
@@AllonaShareeTV You're welcome and I hope the rest of your day is enjoyable. I'm sorry that this episode had broke you. I'm still at a loss of words.
Damn I didn't know that.
YEAP! ....the very first image of this show....in episode 1, was the view of the city and the "twin towers"
I was in the train during rush hour...I did NOT EXPECT THIS AT ALLLLL. I teared the fck up
Sending virtual hugs 🫂
Thank you Iol I sure as heck needed em
"How did it get there?" You are asking the right questions.
LOL the part Rogue was holding Gambit was like Lois holding Clark/superman at the end of death of superman in the comics when superman fought doomsday but I still think Gambit lives anytime you see cable he's trying to fix the time line plus I think Apocalypse is coming
She is a true X-FAN! Greetings from Brazil!
❤❤❤
I haven't heard Ace of Bases since the 90s....brought me back
Omg girl I know. Hits you right in the feels. I was balling. Both those men that love Rogue died, just went out like badasses!!! Cable better be able to come back just a bit earlier to prevent this. I'm just saying!!!
The X-Men can really have some of the most emotional and heartbreaking stories in comic books.
Congratulations you just earned a new subscriber. The really sad thing is Leeches power is to negate other mutant powers so when he was hugging Magneto he was also draining his powers while he was trying to save the morlocks an Gambit and Rogue.
Thank you so much for subbing❤
@AllonaShareeTV your welcome beloved
Girl I was crying with you. 😢
Cable came in and said “not again” so that lets me know he has been trying to stop this from happening on more than one occasion. So basically this entire episode will be rewritten when Cable gets whatever is going wrong with his time traveling fixed.
Lol... Yeah, Disney served up that Emotional damage really well.. RIP Leesh.. Magneto is right
I cried sugar two times, watching the first time this episode and wanting you. thanks for this video, it represents a lot of people.
To answer your question, Cyclops is the leader because he was the main guy during the original Jack Kirby comics.
I keep watching these skipping to Gambit and crying with you guys, but you got me laughing and crying at the same time lol
If you haven't read God Loves Man Kills (X-Men Graphic Novel) check it out!
I just subbed, such a fun review! Great job can’t wait to watch more of your videos.
I have never seen such beautiful eyes in my life.
They fascinated me.
Wolverine is the best but you gotta respect Cyclops! Guy is a true leader!
I lost it when Magneto told Leech to not be afraid.

Hi everyone! Just your friendly info dump here in case you truly wish to know details.
“Girl with all the arms” I’m assuming we are referring to Spiral. I haven’t rewatched so I’m only assuming. But Spiral does have a lot of arms and is an assistant to MoJo, so to speak.
The furry thing wrapping Storm in their arms is “The Adversary”
Enjoy having your world crushed with this episode.
Byyyyye
I literally was you watching it the first time . And then I cried again watching your reaction. I feel you lol
Here in my country we say: "tadinha" to comfort a girl crying like this lady watching this show.
But there's nothing to ashamed of, I cried myself too.
Ugh!! Gambit died before he knew Rouge chose him….🥺🥺🥺😭
"What's that's girl's name. Shit!" Classic! 🙂
Absolutely outstanding reaction.
At the very beginning of the festival when the fireworks are going off you can briefly see the Watcher.
The best review I’ve seen online thus far. You and Beauty and The Beard.
Probably the best episode thus farr. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🔥🔥🔥
A big event always seems to happen when you notice the Watcher in the sky. 20.42. Truly a sad day for the X-Men😢
Damn good episode, anime is now much better than major motion pictures!!
Really this show is not taking it easy on the stories! I am genuinely impressed with how this show is working out, as a fan of the original show.
I'm gonna need Cable to get on this right away because I can't see my girl Rogue like this 😭💔
RIP Magneto and Gambit 😭💔
It episode was amazing in the worst possible way. I think you've had the most emotional reaction that I've seen so far, but it was so warranted. This episode is such a massive gut punch! The head writer/showrunner said that this episode is the season just "warming up". I'm afraid to know what happens next, haha.
14 million mutants were killed on Genosha in the comic version of that attack by the kaiju Sentinel. I doubt it'll be that many on the Disney version.... they'll probably won't tell us how many. Can't blame them. XD
That is so many😢
@@AllonaShareeTV Actually I looked it up and I was wrong... it was 16 million mutants. The entire population of Genosha except for one person. o_O
Yeah they go too hard in the comics.
Your reaction was great tho!
The best episode I've ever seen!
The writers did everything to pull at the heart strings, but at Remy LeBeau got his flowers in an epic way
Dont worry!! Cable will fix things : )
Not a fan of cyclops ? Lol he turning into the new magneto…Scott really a cool character if they go with him being the antihero/villain hope they go that route
Nope, Scott is becoming the real him. Magneto is an idealist with a vision. Scott is a pragmatist with a plan.
I cried again watching your reaction 💔
Gambit went out like a beast
Jean is on pure bullshit. Gets mad at Scott for essentially imagining kissing Madeline but was real life kissing Logan five minutes ago.
6:38, her reaction tho😅😅😅😅😅 that's the biggest "oop!!" I ever seen somebody do.
Hol on now sista , I can’t let you talk down on my dawg Scott 😂. He may be a boyscout and a soldier boy like Logan would say , but he’s Him😂. Granted, he needs to get his shit straight. If storm was still there, she’d be the leader. Both of them are the top picks for leader of the X-men.
This was some of the best writing in a marvel series in a while
this episode makes me cry every time i watch it
even though it has a sad ending. It has ALOT of cameos. Multiple man from the xfactor episode, Shadowcat, Dazler, Boom Boom from x-men evolution, and The watcher from what if.
Perfecting time travel technology is now a priority!!
