Amazing Hong Kong Stunts Tribute
Вставка
- Опубліковано 3 жов 2024
- A tribute to the amazing, daring, under-appreciated stuntwork from the Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung stunt teams along with other HK stuntmen from the late 70s to early 2000s. I will make another one of these videos for sure, i'm just waiting for a high quality copy of some of my favorites like Dragons Forever and Miracles.
Apologies that a third of the videos are from dvd rips rather than blu rays. I figure it'll take a long time to have my whole collection be blu rays so whatever.
Song: High Upon High - Jackie Chan (English Version) (Armor of God Credits Theme)
If you have a question on what movie a clip is just ask :)

No wires, no VFX, no special effects, no safety nets, no stunt doubles .... only broken bones, blood, sweat, tears, pain and the will to keep pushing on.
These guys kicked ass. These guys were legends. Right down from the extra to the main action star.
The HK cinema in the eighties and nineties were awesome !!!
Massive respect !!!
Hong Kong Stuntmen were a different breed and their movies will go down in history as unrepeatable cinematic efforts!
MERGING ALL STUNTMEN.ROYAL SALUTE.THEY SACRIFICE THEIR LIFE ONLY FOR OUR HAPPINESS.NOT FOR THIER MONEY.WE HAVE TO HONOUR THEM❤❤❤❤👍👍👍
Thank you for putting this together! History needs to be preserved!
Jon Truei Absolutely man, and I agree!
This men are dedicated to their craft they live and die for it...this guy's are the real supermen.....
'All stunt performers were harmed in the making of this film'
😂
This made me laugh out long and hard. I'm glad no one was around me or they would have been annoyed by how loud I was. Good grief, this was funny. 🤣🤣🤣
Truely a great tribute to all stuntmen respect...i don't why there isn't a reality show of up in coming stuntman contestants that create stunts and the winners gets a Hollywood movie 10 picture action deal contract for stunt work.....I guess dream will only exist in my head...
80's - 90's HK action films were unmatched
It's crazy how most of these stunts are just throwaway gags, like these guys really don't need to be falling multiple stories after a hit
They went through all of that torment just for me to go "Damn, that's crazy" and go on about my day lmfaooo
I don’t think It's funny
Masterpiece of Art
Amazing! I was going to make one of these but haven't got round to it. The stunts are insane and I wonder what happened to a lot of them. They must have got some serious life changing injuries, especially the double decker stunt. And to think, this is the sort of thing Jackie and friends used to do before they made it. Great stuff.
Goddam brutal and classic. They were the best hands down.
The stuntmen only get paid when they are in camera doing a stunt. What that means is that they have to accept any job in order to make money.
Every stuntmen is a total unit, salute and love to their art... true men! ❤
SUCH A SICK COMPILATION MAN
THANKS BRO! Part 2 in the works.
Hero: director sir I can not do so risky stunt find one stunt man, Stunt man: please call Chan sir, he is bettrr than me!!!!!!!😅😝😅😝
great fighters man....try to make videos of behind the scenes of fighting...then we know about their hard work....multiple takes on set....and their pain....think about it.
Jackie Chan el rey del cine de artes marciales de los 80 y 90
Love and respect.
0:23 Okay, backflip + sit fall + roll???
I’m sure that was stunt glass, but I think the possibilities with real glass is this, but with fake glass you just go right through it.
ROYAL SALUTE TO HONOURABLE STUNTMEN TEAM🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉❤❤❤

@@AntonFomenko Haha hey happy to be of help!
I remember seeing a clip with a young girl being pulled along out the window or door of a moving car it was rather ridiculous, anyone know of it. Also great compilation.
That stunt is from “Fatal Termination” 🤙🏻
nice touch putting the song in
Jackie have some nerve to sing in english when his translation is all over the place
Alternative Title: Hong Kong Falling Stunts Tribute
Masters of falling down. 👍👍
A world where nothing but the leading role is rewarded
Im high upon high...into the sky...
That was Awesome !! But these are NOT Under-appreciated, the Whole Worlds Know and Appreciates what Jackie and HK have bought to the Action Film Industry!
Jackie Chan may get lots of attention. But Ken Lo, Mars and many other stunt performers who have done extremely dangerous and often painful stunts are definitely under-appreciated.
@@actionfilmist Valid Point< They are all Stunt Gods!
@@MrMusica777 and if we are talking strictly cinema bruce lee did a lot aswell to bring hk movies to the west
@@Bogart4ever Of course, Bruce Lee is and always will be the man who defined HK Cinema and made it internationally famous, there is no one like Bruce Lee,!!!
Jackie Chan > Stunt performers
Amazing this guy's knows no fakes.....
This hurts to watch. Still great though.
Hong kong stunts men jump fall down martial arts fighting

怪我を恐れず、真っ向からプロ根性を見せつける、其が香港アクション映画である。

Aniket Sen I used probably over 30 films from the late 70s through early 2000s. Most are from Jackie Chan, Sammo Hung or Yuen Biao movies.

What film is 0:25 from?
Project A Part 2. (The fight in the teahouse)
Great to see this compilation. I digitized a VHS tape of Hong Kong movie stunts and am hoping to track down modern HD copies of them. While going through there were some films I didn't recognize and I posted those up on UA-cam. Martial arts fans were able to recognize every piece except one that I'm still searching for - If you recognize the throw and impact at the 45 second mark here, please let me know: ua-cam.com/video/i3_KQzPTkAI/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=44
I wish I did now, but I know eventually I’ll be able too.
@@actionfilmist With only a 2 second piece and terrible quality I know it's a tough one. I've been surprised and impressed that people were able to recognize everything else. The tape was put together in 1992, so it has to be from a film earlier than that.
@@JimZub yeah it’s giving me vibes of 1970-75. I’ve got so many films from that era I plan to watch at some point but haven’t gotten to ya know.
@@actionfilmist Just found it - It's from a fight scene near the end of a film called Mirage, released in 1987!
@@JimZub oh wow I was way off. Mirage looks interesting! And gj on finding out.
