    Years ago my mother had a dog bite that got infected and she ended up with a septic area or what we called blood poisoning at the time. The antibiotics the doctors prescribed just couldn't get the infection under control. A friend heard about the seriousness of her situation and started using a myrrh poltice several times a day and in one day we literally watched the red line decrease down her arm with each application. When she saw the doctor the next day he was amazed. He told her to keep doing whatever it was that she was doing. It had worked faster and better then the conventional treatments he had prescribed. At that point he was seeing her daily so he knew how quickly the infection had gotten bad and how quickly it got better with the myrrh. I do enjoy your channel and the many things you have available to learn about. Thanks for sharing! God is good!

    Just tonight I was thinking about frankincense, and wondering how to use it and if it can be infused into an oil, then, at 2 am, I found this! Coincidence? I think not...lol, I followed your link and Amazon has it for only $15 for a pound. I was happy to see that. And will buy it now

    I wish I had known a few years ago that frankincense and myrrh could have saved a horse I knew- suffering from sarcoids, the vet only did surgery on him, told the owner to put him down. Very sad.

    you know I had years ago at a health shop, bought these capsules which were like a natural antibiotic...and frankincense for sure was one of the ingredients...and I believe myrrh may have been, possibly may have had goldenseal in there also(so long ago) ...anyhow they worked fantastic for a variety of infections...but then the shop closed down and for years I searched for them , and never found them available again!

      Sounds like you will have TONS of blueberry soda then! :D A pint of blueberries, half a lemon or more (with the skin) and a cup or so of half and half mixed in a blender make very tasty popsicles. That is one of the several things I like to do with our blueberries

    Wow, I never thought of using those two resins for chewing gum. My Mom showed how to use the dry pine pitch for gum when I was a child, I have chewed plenty of that. Thanks for the tips and education. Pine is also good for many things and easy to obtain in our area. I will certainly share this with those that are interested.

    • @RainCountryHomestead
      @RainCountryHomestead  7 років тому

      I think pine resin would be much more tasty than myrrh! We do not have much pine in our area but we do have a lot of other evergreens. Spruce tips are pretty good and I keep meaning each year to go out and harvest some for using in different things, but get so busy with my garden and such that I forgot until it is too late. GRRR! We do have a juniper and a cedar though, I have nippled on their fresh tips on occasion, though I do not mind the flavor, spruce tips taste better.

    • @yvonnethornton1433
      @yvonnethornton1433 7 років тому

      It probably does. I do have some myrrh gum I will try. I know when I put the hard pine into my mouth and begin to chew, it falls apart, but as it warms up it comes back together again. Thanks Heidi.

    What a wonderful video, Heidi - thank you ! I had no idea you could chew the resins like gum . I really love Dr, Josh Axe. Blueberries - I put 3 gallons in the freezer today (all off of just one of our plants ! Thank you so much for this video. I appreciate you so much. I had the surgery on my forehead this morning, & it turned out much better than the Dr. expected ! HalleluYah ! I can't bend over for 2 days or lift anything, but once the stitches come out next week, I will try some of the oil with Myrrh on the skin. My husband and I got into making water kefir a while back. My favorite flavors were a ginger/pineapple mix and pomegranate. We also like it carbonated and let me tell you...the bottles we had stored the kefir in turned into glass bombs! Apparently we slacked off on letting out some of the carbonation and 2 bottles blew up! One was in a cupboard and the other sitting on the counter. Glass everywhere!! I know angels were watching, because none of us were right next to either bottle when they blew. So, be careful out there when your making your carbonated kefir!! We have since stopped making it. I think our kefir grains died, so we'll have to start over. It's so good for you and makes your feel good too! Thanks for all your videos! I'm learning so much!

      Yep, death ratio is 100% or 1 in 1. The question is, do we want our last years to be spent on a death bed taking buckets full of medications daily or do we want to die of old age naturally while still doing what we can? The lady across the street from us is in her mid 70's but you would never know it. She still gardens and works hard and looks much younger than her years. I would have never guessed she was old enough to be my mother. THAT is how I want to be for as long as I can.

      It's a RARITY, so enjoy it while you can! LOL I heard somewhere along the line that you make a few cents more if your videos are viewed within 24 hrs and if they are commented on. Don't know if that's true, but just in case. I've been so busy busy busy with EVERYthing that I can't even get my thoughts and questions together enough to write them down. I would appreciate your prayers for my mom. She is 90, and has a severe cold right now, which in times past has turned into pneumonia with lengthy hospital stays and MEGA antibiotis. I am giving her the onions in honey syrup, garlic in honey syrup, onion poultice on chest and back, and onions on the feet. I have peppermint, eucalyptus, lavender & thieves in the diffuser. I made homemade Vicks to put on her chest and back. I have the cool mist humidifier going. Anything else you might be able to suggest?

      O dear, sorry about your mom and will pray for sure. SOunds like you are doing an excellent job with her care. Can she handle spicy foods? A spicy tea or soup may help quite a bit. Things like cloves, cinnamon, ginger, red pepper, et cetera, are all very helpful in helping the body to fight illnesses of many kinds

    • @kathleenzimmerman8227
      @kathleenzimmerman8227 7 років тому

      Thank you for that, Heidi. I don't hear that very often. :* Mom can't tolerate cayenne, but, every morning in her yogurt I sneak in 1/8th t of turmeric, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, cloves & a little him.pink salt to keep her blood pressure up. I use camu camu for vit C. Then I sweeten it with a little maple syrup. She can't tell the difference & I don't tell her that stuff's in there. She is bed ridden and the only movement she gets is when I reposition her or do a transfer to the pot. I would appreciate you keeping us both in your prayers. If this turns into pneumonia, it could potentially be a death sentence for her. They almost killed her in the hospital 2 years ago, and if it weren't for me staying there with her 24/7 and monitoring her every minute, they would have. I have absolutely NO confidence in doctors or our whole medical system. With the things I've been doing, I've gotten her off of 6 of her 11 meds. Now, there are 5 left, and I want those gone, too, if possible. Well, at the moment, my main concern is congestion, so if you think of anything else, let me know. Thanks for listening ((((((((((((((Heidi)))))))))))))
      Love& prayers
