~My Personal Steps To Buying Yarn~ Disclaimer: This is no shade to people who have lots of yarn! I'm so happy for them before successful in their business and I do know a lot of people crochet fulltime. I personally feel guilty when I buy things I can't make stuff out of or when I have yarn that makes me feel unmotivated. This list or guide may not work for you and that's okay - if anything I hope this video is inspiration for you for your yarn or organizing journey. 1). Lay out all the yarn. Get rid of ones that do not spark joy a la Marie Kondo 2). Organize Skeins by general project feel (What colors I often pair together) 3). Write down your Yarn Goals and Yarn Inspirations 4). Write down skeins/colors most used 5). Wait 24 hours if possible to avoid impulse shopping 6). Buy Yarn and enjoy :)
I Envy you, I regret where I got, I have too much yarn, now I'm only buying if I run out I Don't have space for more yarn. But tip get a winder it makes so much easier to crochet and also takes less space it is worth it.
Girl You have a lot of self controlled, when I started crocheting and selling I just went crazy, every time that I see a sale I stock up on Yarn I have more Yarn than I can fit on my shelf. Love tho you go girl!
As someone with a lot of yarn, itndoesnt happen all at once. A little window shopping and lot of ohhh that's pretty! Haha Firntour scraps that are too small to use, could possibly save for detail work on your amigurumi or definitely use as extra stuffing with the polyfill
