Your video really helpful. It seemed easy in your video to clean the black grease but it took me some time with 9-10 washes (It was very tiring) . I don't have an basting brush so I used an fork with onion at the end to coat the oil. It's my first day of seasoning will have to do for another few days.
Even me also. I don't remember how many times I washed. After 5 times if washing I changed to steel wool. Then the grease started to come out more and more,😟

Hi Parminder, I guess you are asking about iron kadai. It's very simple just pour from hot water, leave it for sometime and discard the water. Then as usual wash it with scruber, dry and oil it as shown in the video. Hope this helps.

Hi...very nicely explained..i have 2 queries.. First one is that once we cook the onions and wash it and dry it , can we proceed with cooking without applying oil as we are directly cooking or we need to wait for 24 hrs. 2. After cooking, do we need to shift the food immediately into another container or we can keep the food in iron kadhai and reheat it as well

Hi Rajani, yes you need to oil allover the kadai to avoid rusting and good maintaince. For 2nd time use just rinse kadai with water and start using it. Hope this helps. Stay connected 😊
