MINARI | Scene at The Academy - Розваги
Minari is a cinematic perfection. Absolutely beautiful.
My opinion: the acting is what got this film nominated for Best Picture.
If there was an Oscar awarded for best under 18 year old, the lad who played David would win it. Loved all the performances, but young David is the reason you're emotionally invested in the film.
Steven is so talented
No other film this year is as worthy of the gold as Minari. Not even Nomadland
Watch "the Father"
@@nikokaapa I did. Although mighty fine, I am still siding with Minari.
@@linkbiff1054 Ah okay! Nice! Minari was definitely a good film.
If it wasn't competing against The Father, most probably. But The Father definitely deserves it this year.
Are u controlling the alarm?
I hope this movie gets the oscar, they deserve it
Omg you know the thing with calendar paper, my parents and I are Albanian immigrants when I was little till now my mum she does the same thing in the draws but it will be with gazette or other thin paper ... again Idk if it’s a tradition and I no idea why the do it
Wow this is really universal! Interesting!
I am still doing the same too
I'm indonesian (southeast asia).. and i did the same thing.. lining the dresser with calendar paper.. 😁
My mom did the same thing with the calendars!
I love this film..
Where can I find this film ? I absolutely want to see it before the Oscars
You can watch it on UA-cam by renting it.
Beautiful film, flawless acting, heart tugging score, authentic to the core. Just loved this film.
Youn Yuh-Jung for Best Supporting Actress!!!
Censoring much? Turn the comments and dislikes back on on KK's video. She deserves it and you know it
Yeah, please let the 13 year olds comment 50 million insults.
Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about
Where could I watch this?
와우!
love
👍Nice
A masterpiece 🌱
Lol
this is one of most touching films i have seen in quite a while. The casting was superb! i personally liked the performances of Will Patton and Steven Yeun
is lining the dressers with calendar paper a korean thing or an asian thing in general ?
I'm indonesian (southeast asia).. and i did the same thing.. lining the dresser with calendar paper.. 😁
Korean film fans are interested in Korean American family story Minari.
Good luck with the Minari Movie..
its not just a korean film.. or an american film. its a human film.
The calendar is to absorb excess moisture to protect the wood. And the bottom clothes or whatever you put on it will not stick to the wood
Thanks oscar .. respect from India
Director Chung is such an incredible filmmaker and just a sweet person! I hope he makes many more movies like Minari.
Mom wanted us to move there in California where her cousin MAX HAYS LIVED
San Bernadino California I think it was
the calendar paper is also a Filipino thing 😮
I could relate to so many parts of this story.
Near Los angeles
Mom's favorite COUSIN WAS MAX
the most American film of immigrating, adapting, farming, and living with one's family.
👍
Yuh-jung Youn !!
Thank you for making a good movie and I made a personal review video.
I think the movie will be more memorable to me because my grandmother died while I making the video..
Like director Lee Isaac Chung, I think I will remember my grandmother through the name 'Minari' in the future...
Han ye-ri ❤
This will be huge if Minari wins because of 2nd oscar for South Korea? Holy shit
와, 진짜로 미나리가 오스카 이기면 한국의 2 번쩨 오스카이며 한국 영화계 역사에 들어간다 100%
well I am excited so much as a Korean, but Minari is not a Korean movie at all. It is a very American film. And also Parasite itself counts for 4 oscars from the categories :)
@@janeyandmonti The actress who plays the grandma is a Korean citizen so that's probably what he means
23
He was a construction worker abd want to be ACTOR
Tengo q verla por Steven Yeun lo conocí en the walking dead y Han Ye-ri en hello, my twenties. Espero q se lleven muchos Oscars🎊🎊🎊
There's another san something
Promote censorship and hate on actual strong women. Good job Oscars.
Good work has nothing to do with race.
So what do you want to say?
This is their youtube channel. They don't have the obligation to let you comment on their videos. Censorship is when you can't speak about something. But you can say whatever you want. Just not on their property. Aren't you the ones who love private property? So respect others property, if they don't want you guys commenting on their video you can't comment.
@@kassiogomes8498 then likewise you can’t blame an angry mob for flooding the comments of their other videos either.
All these koreans with the perfect English 😨
They were all born in America , American born Korean 🥸
Disney fired Gina, a strong woman; but hired HARVEY WEINSTEIN's personal assistant. Think about that.
Shut up
No one cares
That's your opinion 😉
And I even got your attention ! 😂
Now let me know , how many females were hurt by Harvey WEINSTEIN? Weinstein's assistance collaborated with him , and she is free.
Good to know what company yall support 😉
"No one cares" indeed
@@alejandroguerra6755 shut up
😉
Nice try still disliking your vids
WestandwithGina
Why?
Who’s we?
Y’all are losers. Nobody wants to be associated with you. Touch grass
“Ironically, when Disney fired Gina for her opinions it inadvertently proved her point.” - Forbes
What in the fuck are you talking about, what does this have to do with anything
The Oscars are a joke and anyone involved should be ashamed of themselves.
Why?
@@kassiogomes8498 Firstly because of the Lucasfilm fiasco of firing their best lead woman, and then more importantly they've set out rules prohibit eligibility for Best Picture based on Race and Gender.
The Oscars are now overtly promoting Sexism and Bigotry.
@@budthecyborg4575 The Academy has nothing to do with Lucasfilm.
And did you read the rules? I don't think so. Because the rules don't change almost anything at all. Read them, then get back with what part did you though was sexist.
@@kassiogomes8498 Yes I was just looking over the rules posted on the Oscars website. Apply the same standards to movies made in China or India and everyone would say this is an absolutely terrible.
Forcing people to create roles based on race or gender can only make movies worse.
@@budthecyborg4575 Look, this kind of comment shows you didn't read the rules. They aren't obligated to created any roles of any race or gender. Read again and pay attention, you are spreading fake information.
Most of the big studios already follow these new rules for some time, the big impact of the rules are in the internship programs and marketing jobs at the distribution companies and production companies.
If you aren't able of understanding a simple document made by The Academy of Motion Pictures I don't know what to tell you.
the calendar paper is also a very chinese thing
USA is chinese thing
Earth is chinese thing
Universe is chinese thing
Jesus is chinese.
And taiwan No.1
Coronavirus is also a very chinese thing, admit it
Fantastic movie. And seriosly shut up about kathleen.
go cry to the Disney channel to fire kathleen, Oscars exercised their freedom.
Make me.
@@wesjanson4903 Nice shot, Janson!
Boring. Not original. Like "we supported asian cinema". That all.
