Man, I grew up watching Adam and Joe with my Dad, were before their time. Don't make awesome TV like this anymore.
I watched the film yesterday and this is spot on. I love how much attention to detail they paid with these toy versions.
Their impressions of Armin Mueller-Stahl (the father) and Noah Taylor (young David) are great too.
best sound effects ever
My fave of their parodies ... the genius bit is using the Wham, Wake Me Up Before You Go Go 'demo' that was on every Casio keyboard in the early 90s (and which you use to mime playing to as a kid). Lmfao.
l loved the toy stories. The best of A & J show DVD with all of them is great.

Well, I just saw David, and this is funnyhahahahaha Helfgott play live last Thursday Thursday yes it was last Thursday the 4th of July 2024 yes twenty twentyplentyoftwenty twenty four and he was playing piano in MelbourneyesyesMelbourne and he played TheRachmaninov with Rodhri Clark ... And it was David Helfgott's farewell performance and we all slowed down then (theaudiencetheaudienceIwas in the audience ... Yeeeesyesyes) and between his bits of piano on the top end David got up from the piano bench and patted Rhodri Clark on the back. And it was very good.🦆
