For anyone curious, "ooga booga" was explained in passing in a podcast episode. Adam and/or Joe (can't remember who) has a fascination with scenes that appear in trailers but not in the final cut of the film. One such example is a scene in Who Framed Roger Rabbit? in which Hoskins shouts "ooga booga!" at a cartoon gorilla bouncer who has just thrown him out.
What the hell are you going on about? This isn't a piss-take of cockneys. It's just a playful joke song about Bob Hoskins in a fictional environment ressembling Victorian London where he is idolised for being so kind and talented. If you think about it, it's more a parody of how people who have never been to London might exaggeratedly think of cockneys. It's not meant to offend and to be honest I don't see how anybody could think it is?! That and yes, this video is from the mid-90s!
Tickle me fancy
Have a banana
What a palava
Old Bull and Bush
Apples and pears
Scraffle me nuts
I'm off to Stepney to waggle me brush
Long me good Friday
Ragger me Rawney
Roger me Rabbit
Mona me Lisa
Mer me maids
Blue me ice
Smack me behind
For just two and six
Come on, everybody
Tickle me fancy
Have a banana
What a palava
Old Bull and Bush
Apples and pears
Scraffle me nuts
I'm off to Stepney to waggle me brush
Round me spoonies
Nibble me nob
Shiver me timbers
Corn on the cob
Shuffle me Bob 'kins
Stackle me tits
Holly me pipkins
Fiddle me nits
Polish me pearlies
Apples and pears
Buckets of fun
And a barrel of laughs
Naughty old Nancy slappin' her knees
Saucy old Sally
Jelly me eels
Long me Good Friday
Ragger me Rauney
Roger me rabbit
Mona me Lisa
Bottle me corkers
Whizzle me stick
Smack me behind
For just two and six
Ahhh it makes sense now
Fare the well Bobo. I shall forever miss you.
