The Old World is no longer a silhouette, but a structure that you can see very closely, eclipsing the core. As you walk through the obsidian & bedrock surface of the empty island, the ground begins to shake as the beast emerges from a nearby canyon... NEW BOSS // TYPE: SUPREME DEMON - BEHEMOTH, EMPEROR OF THE DINOSAURS The beast crawls up, towering over V1. It looks at the machine & it's inner, draconian flames begin to burn, the battle has begun. PHASE 1 // AN ARCH-ANGELS PRIDE HP: 80 ATTACKS: BULLS CHARGE, Similar to the Minotaur's charge but much more deadly, as when it reaches you it doesn't knock you away but instead pins you down with it's giant jaws and mauls you.. to death. GOLIATHS FURY, It slams the ground with it's front legs, causing a TRIPLE shockwave and flinging boulders around the arena. INCINIRATION, A large stream of fire, unparriable, (temporarily) turns one large part of the arena into a burning hazard (similar to the Bull of Hell). Once the Behemoth looses all of it's HP, it will let out an enraged call before shooting a large fire stream onto the ground, setting the arena a blaze. Melting the land and causing V1 to fall into a cave. The music calms down and V1 finds itself in some kind of cavern. You see many drawings on the walls, the first one depicts dinosaurs living freely, under the rule of Behemoth. The second one shows a burning fireball, an asteroid smiting the beasts. The third one shows angels battling Behemoth. The fourth one shows Gabriel and... a different angel fighting against... Lucifer? The fifth and final drawing shows Man..... with a destroyed cross. You then find an ancient tablet and grab it to read. LOG // "His Indifference Eclipsed His Pride. In his 'holy' eyes, the sinless beasts were disgusting, his hatred for them burned almost as much for that of Man. The most beautiful, brightest Angel of Light unleashed a flame, for which the terrible lizards were damned to the abyss. 'But Lucifer, the holy father didst not hest us to unleash death upon this olden life for the new life. But thee has't unleashed a fireth, worse than the fires of Tarturus within the sea of the abyss. Wherefore? angel of lighteth?' Lucifer told us God had betrayed us with the idea of man, that he wanted to replace us with humanity. He said the only way to stop this is to not have anything to stop humanity from committing sin, to betray God. He began to speak vows of blasphemy, calling him self the new Lord who would bring justice towards us angels. Gabriel & Michael, God's two most powerful warriors ridiculed Lucifer for his blasphemy & his act towards the dinosaurs- // The tablet was half broken, the other half must be somewhere else. You keep making your way through the caves as the music slowly turns more intense. You find a train and begin to ride it, it slowly takes you up to the surface. Looks like it is taking you to the Old World... but the ground begins to quake once again, you look behind you and.. PHASE 2 // A PRIMORDIAL-DEMONS ENVY Behemoth is chasing you're train down, you go up to the carts roof to battle the beast, his attacks more limited as he is using his legs to chase you down. HP: 40 ATTACKS: BURNING BLIGHT: A lava spit that makes one part of the arena covered in lava temporarily. ENRAGED BITE: Behemoth bites the train, slowing it down until he slings it away, restarting the boss fight as if you died. You can go up to him to parry him to make him let go. EXTINCTION: Behemoth shoots a barrage of fireballs in the air which fall back down. Eventually you Behemoth gives up on chasing you. The Empyrean Demon stares at you, riding away. The saga of the Dinosaurs has ended, they're left alone now. The saga of mans repentance has begun... The level ends with a bright light blinding the screen. TERMINAL // BEHEMOTH: "Behemoth is the fist child of Azrael, the angel of Death & Demons. She is the mother all of beasts & monsters. Being the oldest known creature, God gave Behemoth the task of ruling over the Dinosaurs and keeping them in check. Making sure they remain sinless and primal. Once God began developing man, he commanded the Angels to make a new world for mankind. Lucifer being both too lazy to make an new planet and being hateful towards all of God's creations besides his own kin, manipulated many angels into thinking God gave him the command to destroy the Dinosaurs. With that he grabbed an asteroid and turned it into a ring of flames. Unleashing it upon the olden creatures, making them fall into the abyss. Behemoth was powerful enough to endure the flames which eventually cooled down to create a new, rocky surface. Upon realizing Behemoth was still alive, Lucifer dove down to Earths new surface to fight the young yet big creature. He made it look like a noble act to the other angels, a warrior slaying a wicked beast. But many angels knew this was far from the truth. Gabriel, Michael.. and Azrael. Azrael flew down and stood in between Lucifer and Behemoth. She pleaded with the angel of Light. Lucifer, in a fit of rage, stabbed her heart with his flaming spear. Watching his mother be murdered by the same being whom destroyed his kind, Behemoth charged furiously towards Lucifer. Mauling him to death with his maw, ripping him to shreds, rending him apart and flinging him across the bloodstained world. Lucifer then ordered a Jupiter Dragon to be sent down for aid. The holy dragon landed and was ready for battle, but when it looked at Behemoth it was hesitant. This was no wicked beast, but an innocent creature. Lucifer whipped the dragon and with no choice the angelic monster fired it's heavenly beam at Behemoth. Behemoth's roars & cries of pain echoed like an Eclipse through the sounds of blazing hot light of the Star that was the Jupiter Dragons beam. Contrasting with Lucifers faint, maniacal laughter. The tragic fate of Behemoth was sealed, he fell down into the Abyss. All of the dinosaurs looked upon their leader, fallen, destroyed, his ruined body now apart of the eternal darkness that Satan had created and would soon be part of..." I see as I focus more on lore and a less on the level itself, I go from writing comments to writing an entire Bible story. The terminal entry of the Dinosaurs was more vague, it only stated the fate of the Dinosaurs, but this one goes into more detail to how & why it happened and explains the lore of Behemoth. Unlike Leviathan, Behemoth was more benevolent, but in the eyes of Satan. All whom were not angels, good or not, deserved nothing but suffering. I know you're tired of reading but uhm... I also made a comment on 10-4B so uh... yeah.
