- What
Yeah, this is 7-3B #2.
During the (semi)recent developer livestream, hakita mentioned the details of the original earthmover bossfight, that same day i had a mostly coherant dream about the details of how the bossfight went, this is the music piece that would go to that boss.
I tried blending as much of the original track into this version as i could, while still keeping to the style i've kept for this project. Where this puts this track at is a sort-of War without Reason Remix, only sort of though, becuse much of the song is unique, which is why i thought to call it a Reprise instead (also because it's the second earthmover song).
((also, if you wonder why this is in 7-3B and not 7-4B, it's because there's been already an earthmover boss once, so it'd be a little disapointing and a waste, but i still wanted to make this track anyway, so that's why this is here))

BOSSFIGHT DETAILS :
Phase 1: The Earthmover wakes up. It is unchained from the ground which gives it the full mobility to attack you, it will launch missiles onto the player.
The giant spear on it's body is what it's going to use to attack you. This is very dangerous because the spear is big and it's lightning strike is lethal.
your goal in this phase is to outmaneuver the Earthmover and find a way to hide from it's view, traversing the giant arena that the bossfight takes place on.
Phase 2: You go around beneath hidden passages killing enemies launched from transport pods in hopes of finding some way through.
Eventually reaching and climbing a vertical building
Phase 3: You Enter an operating chamber of a large gun that you are going to use to launch yourself into the earthmover.
First, however, you have to disable it's security system so that you can use it for yourself.
Phase 3.5: you wait for the launch sequence, this sequence is similiar to the part of the V2 2 bossfight after you go off the pyramid where a semi-cutscene plays
where you are shown to be launched into the giant robot.
Phase 4: while inside you see that it is impossible to enter the head of the earthmover, as such you travel the passageways inside it's body to reach the shield
generator room, you will need to destroy generators that power a mechanism inside the chamber. afterwards you grab the energy core like a skull, leaving the generator room
and beginning phase 5.
Phase 5: You fight hordes of enemies whilst trying to get out of the earthmover.
Phase 6: You get out with the power core, the earthmover's head being enraged, it's attacks are faster, as such you will need to be even faster than before in order to outmaneuver it.
you once again fight through the tower, now using a shortcut, then enter the room and place the power core, powering the gun and opening the operator room. There you press a
button on a screen to activate the gun to destroy the earthmover.
When the Earthmover is destroyed you are launched out of the pod onto the ground where it's body lays in front of you, with the exit elevator being behind you and opening once you
reach the ground.
(also fuck i forgot the one n in beginning)

7-3B: TITAN OF THE SUICIDE WOODS
The first part of the level is similar to 7-3A. Exploring the 2nd of violence, feeding the blood trees and fighting enemies whom are already fighting each other. Shortly after beating a few enemy arenas, you encounter a hole that leads into a cavern where the bloody roots weep for eternity. As you explore the cavern and fight a couple blood entities, you begin to hear the steel moaning and groaning, something big and loud is nearby... Eventually you make it out of the cave, and you are met with...
???-THR "C.R.O.N.O.S."
Cronos was one of the first Earthmovers ever built, because of this unlike the other Earthmovers of the blasphemy ring. It's shield was weaker and was at the brink of death once it entered the valley of blasphemers. But it was also the most experienced and skilled of all the earthmovers. One day after defeating a different Earthmover, it's shield finally shattered. This forced it to wander off into the 2nd ring of violence. Here, there were no other Earthmovers to battle. Only the endless forest of suffering souls and their silent screams and cries.
You're battle with Cronos is the entire rest of the level 7-3B. Because of the fact that it wasn't bound to the ground, this means you can't make you're way inside and destroy it. And even if it's shield was broken, it was still too durable for your puny weapons. Because of this the boss fight is an absolute bullet hell, with Cronos spamming cannons and his lightning strike at you and even firing enemy missiles at you, summoning Guttermen and Guttertanks. Eventually however, you reach a turret station with the ability to shoot projectiles that are strong enough to actually damage Cronos. And with that, you finally destroy the old and rusty Earthmover....
This was defo worth the wait. Didn't expect 7-3B to have an earthmover boss fight, but that just means there will be a different boss fight in 7-4B. Can't wait!
EDIT: I think I just noticed an ATLAS leitmotif in Part II, might just be me. Also I'm hopin Jhonny Ultra will be the boss fight for 7-4B, would be cool for him to make a reappearance.
What about the joints though? Surely those would cave in eventually... Right?

THERE'S like 4 limbs LEFT!
Four limbs, if you don't count the other two earthmovers
Considering how it supposed to be for 7-3 I imagine Earthmover being kept alive by blood trees that entangle it's entire body.
In 7-2 there were 3 earthmovers shown and this earthmover saw what you did and knows how to deal with you unlike their brothers mistakes with no interruption from another
The fact that we’re fighting this guy in the *Third* level makes me terrified on what your 7-4 will be like! 😭😭😭

2750-BBL HeavenReacher (also known as the tower of babel).
BBL?? Brazillian butt lift??
this was an earthmover type that was built to counter other earthmovers. it was built during the final war after soviet russia got attacked by imperial japan's earthmovers. it is equipped with massive turrets, the classic THR lightning spear, giant chainguns, 2 security systems and a giant THR-saber (a giant sword meant to cut through other earthmovers). it stands over 1400 meters tall and it's lightning spear is capable of destroying several cities. this machine has 3 titles: the tower of babel, HeavenReacher and stalin's fist.

Since in my (atm) about 500 pages about Ultrakill in my 13K pages novel it's stated how V1 is gonna fend off Hell in other Realities, this does sound perfect for when it finally sees this Earthmover once again but...

@@ArceTheTroll Considering the whole novel is currently 13K+ pages long AND the Doomguy/Taggart is indeed in it...
Just to let you know, I have created the whole after Violence Layer stuff, with like Fraude being
SPOILER
After Gabriel's second defeat to V1, Hell uses his hate and motivates him to commit Genocide over Heaven, starting from the Council.
Fraude would be the whole Heaven from the Comedy but twisted, since all the angels are dead and it has fallen into Hell itself.
I spent like 50 (exactly 50, lol) pages in describing the whole layer and its 10 (only 8 in the main Chapter of Fraude since 32 additional pages are for the last two parts of Fraude where P-3 Chapter takes place) sub-Layers.
Imagine, angels being punished in a twisted way of their own Life.
Example is the Council Member Gabriel is shown decapitating in the ending of Act 2 (Chapter 225 of my novel, Ultrakill takes from 217 to 232 and it's Act XVIII), which is kept bounded by chains to an upside cross in the 8th sub-Layer, with his wings severed but still attached to said cross and with the detached head being barely held by the spinal column, symbol of how the Council kept praysing the voice of something that wasn't God anymore and how their sight, despite being the higher members of the angels, was obscured by opulence.
In said room there would also be the Flesh Tesseract, where...
No more spoiler if nobody asks for them 😜
