I thoroughly enjoyed watching your video.Very interesting. You are very talented and,as others have mentioned, obviously a master of your craft.Beautiful work.
I was amazed by your craft but after I read your replies on the comments below I realized that not only you are great at your craft but also you give directions and advice to others so they can be helped. And that is what separates a master from a show-off. Don't know what you charge but I think is cheap for all the great work you are doing. Keep up the great job
Absolutely love your work and videos. I can't begin to tell you how much I appreciate seeing someone so much more experienced than me going through the process.
this is great. Thank you so much for sharing your process with us all. The most common thing I get asked when people see how I make jewelry is "I had no idea so much work went into this"
youre great and i love your videos. well made and you show all the steps. just watching your hand movements to the way you move your tools. thanks a lot
I just love watching u create such beautiful jewelry... now us lay ppl can see all the hard work that goes in to producing such fine fine jewelry...Wish I could afford it. I’d love to have some type of 18k gold pinky ring...maybe of the medical caduceus, u know the 2 snakes wrapped around a staff...and wings outstretched at the top...take care sir and keep creating...thank u so much...I have a few loose precious and semi-precious stone. I.e. blue sapphire, peridots, and garnets ...maybe I can pay u to do something with them...oh I also bought a nice raw opal...
This is a beautifully made engagement ring, and your craftsmanship is marvelous. However, strictly from *my own* opinion, I think doing without the two "cathedrals" along the side would leave a much cleaner design. Something about them kind of makes that part of the ring look like an after-thought. But, like I said, that's strictly my own opinion. The work, as I said before, is marvelous, and I admire your skill and imagination. Please continue to provide us with examples of your beautiful art work in future.
It is good manufacturing style beautiful design with traditional way, i am belong to Indian goldsmith family and feel Happy to see your video and proud on you with your Great Art
Very interesting! I think I'd love to make rings, nice to see the tools you use and some self made and improvised tools. I Feel for you cutting into your thumb but if that's what it takes to get a firm grip then it has to be. Beautifull end result! Thank you for sharing!
great talent and precision! U have a lot of skill and I'm guessing they go at a high price afterwards since the amount of time put in is very special for each ring :D
Felicidades y Exitos.
Claudio Esteban I am that I have to thank all the people who have the patience to watch my work. I decided to make this video because normally people know the jewelry but not the way they are created.
wow absolutely stunning workmanship, how long has it taken you to get to that level ? it definitely made me appreciate the time and effort to create such a work of art, i doubt i will ever look at a handmade ring the same way again. keep up the videos, very worthwhile
I was thinking same thing about his hands and fingers. Such a price to pay to have amazing talent making beautiful and stunning pieces of jewelry. I'm in pain just looking at how rough his hands look and can't imagine how much they hurt.
Hello, what beautiful work you do. In this video, are you using thin gold pieces, to fuse your elements together with, or gold solder and flux? I couldn't help but notice where your hands have taken such a beating doing your craft......will buy some finger tip protection before I start practicing this kind of stuff!
+scaffoal that's pretty cool, its a shame that nothing like that was offered in England. I've done a few simple classes but nothing to this level. Do you think with the right tools (which i have) and UA-cam videos/books I'll be able to make rings as beautiful as yours or should i pay for professional help?
absolutely beautiful! may i ask what karat gold this is or how you got that beautiful white/yellow color in the gold? does the solder add the hue? thank you for such wonderful pieces
is 18kt gold, the color of gold depends on the type of alloy that is used. I normaly use alloy produced by Legorgroup. On the Legorgroup website you can find various types of alloys with different features.
was there a ring inside the ring? im wondering does that ring maybe act like a sizing agent that can be taken out later when they want the ring bigger? that would be genius.
nice craftsmanship! Question about the diamond's property, when you were sawing off the prongs with diamonds sitting in it, would u touch the diamond with your saw blade accidentally? If you do, will that leave any scratch marks on the diamond?
because while the majority of the gems is harder than steel, many gems are fragile at pressure. Cutting the claw with the pincer creates a slight pressure, and sometimes the gem is chipped. Also each craftsman has his own beliefs, which may differ from person to person, depends on past experience
scaffoal , ok I got your point . I use to make my own tools and therefore my clipper has the jaws straight polished to the external side , in order to avoid the distortion of the cut . The inner side is angle sharped and the stress of cutting is oriented backwards . My concern was if not by accident , the saw might chop some gem's edges . Thanks for your answer !
Incredibile!
hey your videos are very good! I like the stuff your making, keep the good work coming ! Ps. What do you use to solder the gold together ? And what was the fluid at the end ?
+J Riette There are production systems using the specific 3D printers for small jobs with very high definition. If you do not have the practice of manual processing, it can definitely be a very good approach since the castings obtained by 3d samples are particularly detailed and require very little finishing touches. In Italy there are schools both public and private courses that make jewelery. The best thing you definitely have access to a workshop that will teach you the basics. It can also be interesting to contact some big Showhouse: Cartier, Bulgari, Damiani etc. and see if you need a figure like yours in their group.
When grow i want to be like you! jajajaja XD really you do a great masterwork! may be i told you this before, but you are a great inspiration for us the beginner
The scars build up calluses to make the skin tougher on the ends of the fingers. It takes time, and passion for the work to tolerate it while that happens. Unfortunately, trying to keep the skin soft in those areas only prolongs the process. My grandfather was a bench jeweler, and did lots of creative work, which required that this happen. He also did a lot of lapidary work, faceting beautiful diamonds, colored precious gems, and polished and cabachoned semi-precious stones, too. great talent and precision! U have a lot of skill and I'm guessing they go at a high price afterwards since the amount of time put in is very special for each ring :D
+rashidz97100 Thank you. Often, jewelry of equal materials, handmade as in the video are cheaper than those made by big companies made in series.
+scaffoal Still, looks like a masterpiece! Also, how long does it take in average to make an engagement ring or any sort?
+rashidz97100 Depends on the two hours to two or three days it depends of the ring
I have the utmost respect for your work. thank you for the vids
thanks you

Amazing work mate!
thank you!
Where did you learn to do this extremely beautiful craft? I am really interested in taking it up.
+Niklaus Fletcher In Italy in Valenza Po there are state schools that teach this craft

+Dipankar Das Thanks to you
was there a ring inside the ring? im wondering does that ring maybe act like a sizing agent that can be taken out later when they want the ring bigger? that would be genius.
Gorgeous work, but all that gold powder is recycled ?
igehring yes, we do not throw anything.
You're probably the same age as me because all the great music of my time. I love
it's possible
Thanks again for the video! Was there an inner ring inserted to reduce the ring size in the final photo?
Ruedesglycines It is for people who have problems with the bones of the joints of the finger.
nice craftsmanship! Question about the diamond's property, when you were sawing off the prongs with diamonds sitting in it, would u touch the diamond with your saw blade accidentally? If you do, will that leave any scratch marks on the diamond?
nope. diamond is virtually unscratchable by what is probably a high tensile steel blade
No diamond can only be marked by another diamond. Thanks
Wow i love all your video,s almost watched em all , at what age did u start creating jewelry? greetings from Holland !
+Flipper Thanks, I started to do this work to 14 years old
+scaffoal wow. I'm 14 and have an A grade in Product Design...but this is amazing.
Great job again , thanks for sharing your skills . One question , why you don't use a nail clipper to trimm the prongs ?
because while the majority of the gems is harder than steel, many gems are fragile at pressure. Cutting the claw with the pincer creates a slight pressure, and sometimes the gem is chipped. Also each craftsman has his own beliefs, which may differ from person to person, depends on past experience
scaffoal , ok I got your point . I use to make my own tools and therefore my clipper has the jaws straight polished to the external side , in order to avoid the distortion of the cut .
hey your videos are very good!
I like the stuff your making, keep the good work coming !
Ps. What do you use to solder the gold together ?
And what was the fluid at the end ?
02508060509 Welding using gold alloys with lower melting point. The liqido eventually detrgente with water in ultrasonic cleaner
Fine workmanship, thanks for the video.
Gene Reeves thanks you
Hay Mr Scaffoul, my hands get dry from crafts too and try Neosporin. It works wonders. Just run a litle on your hands.
that is so cool! So much skill!
Gerard Patalano Thanks
Was this your design or a request? It is so fascinating to watch this process.
I usually make jewels on commission. Almost always the drawings are mine, of course they have to interpret the customers' wishes. Thanks
you're an artist!
+Jorge L Castro Thanks
Stunning ring !!
To what gauge did you draw the wire for the setting? Is it 22 or 21?
it depends on the gem, in this ring I used 1 millimeter thread.
Also, if I am looking to switch to this industry ( my current work is graphic design ) what is your suggestion on what to do as a first step?
+J Riette There are production systems using the specific 3D printers for small jobs with very high definition. +Sandra Xai Solomon (Sandy) Using the gold solder

I had various teachers including my uncle and I attended a state school of goldsmiths in Italy
Is that an old mainspring from a clock that you use to solder on?
yes
No problem ps cold i get a shout out to both my chanels?
Hi sir how r u I m from India I have asked a question about solder.how made the solder which kind Mattel mix it.plzz ans me.
I use ready-made alloys, you can see a selection of alloys for gold on the Legorgroup website
Please take care of yourself while bringing happiness to so many.. Sad to see the damages on your fingers :'( :( Great Work!
+Hashini Perera Thanks a lot

Beautiful piece.

I always wondered where do you get the gems from? I know there must be some store or distribution center. Are they the most expensive part of the ring, or the gold?
In the solitaire rings, often the gem has the greatest cost
@@scaffoal thank you for the information. You work is very beautiful.
what the brown putty you used to hold in place when you were drilling the details
