I've been designing jewelry for 35+ years. Engineering the way the that a unique jewel will be set is something that I love to work with the that jewel.

The whole process is like doing a conventional PCR in the lab. Everything has to be accurate and time consuming. I miss going to lab 😭. So, entertaining myself watching this relaxing and satisfying vdo.

Ashiya H , Hey This is the time to buy Platinum if you can, my Dad's also a jeweler and he is 80yo and has only seen this one other time in his life besides Now....If you see the price of Platinum priced lower then Gold buy all you can because it's very rare to see it at this cost.... & for so long!!! GB
Platinum rings are expensive because platinum is cast near pure. 95 percent. Subsequently you are not paying a lower price as with karating. 14 k is 58.5 percent gold. So you pay 58 percent of total gold cost. Platinum is generally welded as well. Easy to work with. Also. A gram of platinum runs about 60 bucks canadian right now. If the ring has 5 grams in it then the price is 300 bucks effectively tripled to cover work time. Diamonds are up priced 1.8 to 1.25 times, as the stone carat weight increases the margin on the stone decreases.
