You know it's all business when you take the sunglasses off...... looks like a beauty place to call home man. And something to be proud of that you built yourself.
Beautiful home, Adam. I have very good friends that moved to Paris. I visited them a couple of years ago. Paris is a neat town and I hope to travel back there next year. Hope to bump into to you when I do just to shake your hand and thank you for all you do for the veterans.
Honestly, I would do the same exact thing. Time is our most valuable resource and it's the one thing we can never buy more of. This is the right move as much as it hurts. Much love to you and the family!
OMGosh Adam a difficult decision but the measure of a man is who he puts first, you chose well. You guys love that house. It's got so much of you in it. It truly is gorgeous. And the little touches like hearing the rushing creek and being secluded on 5 acres. I envy the lucky people who get this one in a million house. Good luck in Perris.
Adam - never, ever apologize for things that you do to accommodate what’s the most important item in your life - family. We all make choices that some may never understand but we have to do what’s best for the family. I’ve wondered how you were able to run all your enterprises and still find time for your family. Enjoy that little man because soon he’ll be leaving the nest and the time spent now is essential for you, Ms. Ashley and of course your son. Good luck with the sale. Hope to see you in NW Arkansas at the Bikes, Blues & BBQ. 😉🤜🏼
Man, even though it was made for the most important/appropriate reasons, I bet that was one of the most difficult, heartbreaking decisions to make. The house & property is absolutely incredible!!! Would be great if you could’ve kept it & rented it as airbnb yourself until your son graduates.
Wow! Never thought that would happen. I get it though. Texas sports is in another level of young kids. Watched that house get built. Best of luck my friend! See you soon. ❤
We all make decisions that will change the way we live. Family has always been and always will be the heart of the home and sometimes we find ourselves running for home. You built a beautiful home and you're in the process of building your family and the decisions that you make will forever affect the way you live your life. Be happy and enjoy building your happiness and never look back because if you do it could hold you back. I see him hanging on the wall, I truly hope you plan on bringing him with you!
Adam - its sad to hear this. I think you are going to regret selling it. Its too bad you can't make it into a vacation rental or some sort of long term rental, and by the time your son is out of high school (maybe college) then you can relocate back to your home. But, i certainly understand making sacrifices for your family. Best of luck.
A decision like this is not easy. But making it for the benefit of the family and your wife is most important. Good on you. Keep looking forward the benefit s will come. 😊
I never thought in a million years you’d sell the dream house that you and Ashley built together🥴 Scooters going to miss OK. Sorry but, we’d spent week days in TX and weekends at our home in OK😊 Great price😎
Yeah that’s a tough one to make for the emotions tied to your sweat equity in building your first home for the family. But having that local community, close commutes for Ashley, friends, and school/sports activities so close to the house will make the transition easier. Maybe someone in your circle, your buddies, could buy your home, or co-own with you and give you an opportunity to own it outright again down the road as an investment, Airbnb, that you can keep in your portfolio.
It’s hard doing the right thing sometimes but your son is at the age that being there as much as you can be is top priority but it’s also about the wife she’s a hell of a trooper to do that drive every week between the time and the risk factor of being on the road. I don’t think you will have a problem selling the house, you have more irons in the fire than I want but I have been there keep on grinding your killing it! It will pay off in the end.
I live in the country, about 20 minutes from New Haven Connectcut, and no one has ever given me a hard time. AND I don't have to fly two thirds of the way across the country for the best pizza in the world. I'm 1.5 hr train to NYC, 2.5 drive to Beantown, and about 200 yards from cattle ranches and western horse areas! Talk about the best of everything!!❤❤❤
I got family in Paris. My cousin is a coach at Paris High. It is a nice town. Spent my summers there with my aunt and uncle when they had a farm in Direct. Plus you are not really moving any where new as much time as you have spent in Paris. And even though it is a remodel, you have "built" you next home too.
Damn man I'm an oklahoman also and man I'd love to buy that home but I work at Tinker AFB and that would be a drive for me every day. Nice home for sure though.
Absolutely beautiful home. Adam, you owed no one an explanation for selling. But…family, is the right reason. As someone who’s been watching you since the beginning. I will say, you and Ashley are perfect together. You have both made tremendous sacrifices throughout your relationship. Best of luck, health and happiness always. Trust me someday your son will see what great parents you 2 truly are. When they’re young they don’t always understand. But he will surly be a good adult one day from the lessons you 2 have shown him and taught him.
Love your videos and thanks for helping the vets. I'm old and suggest don;t sell. lease. When your son is in college your life will change and you may regret selling. Whatever you do I'll forever be thankful to you for all you do. 😊
@@adamsandoval, not to mention listing it as a vacation rental. For holiday, weekend, weekly, nightly stays. Me and the wife have recently been doing this instead of using hotels when we travel. Easy to pay 150-250 a night in a hotel. Can spend that mich less or more and have a entire house. Your place would list for at a pretty good rate. Your sons years left in school are not very many. Just think how fast the last 6-7 years of your life has gone by. Before you know it he will be gone with the wind. And to replace your home when you are ready will cost you twice as much as you sell this one for.
You gotta do what you gotta do, but I feel your pain. It would be awful hard to hand the keys to that place over for the last time and drive away. Your saving grace is your doing it for all the right reasons and good on you for that 👍. Keep the faith ✌️
That’s exactly why I left my 10 acres and brand new custom built home in Macon North Carolina and moved up to a rental property in Virginia Beach to be near my son because I was in North Carolina alone. And I found a very good woman to spend time with. I hope that you have luck selling it. I’m sorry that you have to sell that gorgeous beautiful home but I certainly hope to see you at the KRiver Monday. I’ll get there tomorrow afternoon and I hope to really be able to see you Monday Tuesday. I leave Wednesday congrats. I think you made a awesome. Very tough decision. It was for me , but it’s definitely the right thing to do. Disappointing news to me because I’m currently driving to Moyers to see you and to experience the Camp Ground but again I wish you the very best and family is most important.❤❤🇺🇸🇺🇸. Navy Vet, Mike.
That sucks, but I get it! I’ve been there myself. I Love the country, but when you have sports active kids/teens it indeed is almost impossible to manage time. Good luck with the sale brother! 👍✌️
ultimately the measure of a true man is what he will do to make life easier for his family. We bare the weight of the world and give up more than we share to make sure our families are happy and secure. I like you have given greatly including my body and health, but I would change nothing.
Well I can only imagine how hard it was to make that decision Adam . I was hoping to make it down there to see your K River campground and hopefully meet you ( we moved to Sallisaw Oklahoma 10 months ago , and 3 months ago I just got me another bike ) You should be Very Proud of yourself for building such a Beautiful home , you did a Heck of a Job 👍👏👏👏 Blessings to you , Ms Ashley and your son in your new chapter in Paris Texas , Oklahoma lost a Good One 😔
