Thank you for your helpful video's. I have now totally rebuilt a badly worn Horse unit with all new shafts, bushings, seals and now hear my garden calling in the distance ! It will have to wait a while as it is middle December in N.H. Love to post a picture if I knew how.

IKNOW THESE VIDEOS WERE DONE A LONG TIME AGO BUT I'M WONDERING IF YOU'RE STILL AROUND TO ANSWER QUESTIONS ABOUT THESE TILLERS.

I think if you got all new seals and all new bearings for it, you should put a new shaft in it too. I saw your 8' pull disk, it's an International disk. I have one just like it that I pull with my Farmall M. Nice video. Pete

Thanks for the input. I have decided to weld up the groves and turn them down on my lathe. If I am not happy with the results a new shaft will be coming or I may try to make one. It certianly is not going back in as it is.

Thanks for the information on the disc. Do you happen to have any manuals or numbers for it. Havent decided if I am going to keep it but I cant stand the thought of a scrap yard.

So what was wrong with the tiller? I’m guessing the shaft splines or woodrof was worn out thus allowing the gears to spin on the shaft?
Why wouldn’t you just weld the gears to the shaft?
