Way cool, I love the tires with the chains on them,,,I might change out the tires I have (to the style you have) and put on the chains...I like the look. Happy gardening !!!

Got the 212 predator at HF Tuesday (last day on sale, lol, for $99) and seals from ebay. Gonna attempt this today on a 1976/77 horse... points/contacts for the old Tecumsa were shot.

If your axle seals aren't in need of replacement don't bother with removing the wheels. I replace tiller tires with the wheels mounted. The mass of the tiller is a great holding fixture.

What kind of gear oil do you put in the gear box? Gear oil? Transmission? Number? Thanks. You are a good teacher. I have the sam HH60 Tecumseh.

where do you get parts I have a 1977 that I am resurrecting (just got)and don't have a good resource for information. The tiller seals are leaking and I was thinking of just pulling out without disassembly because I understand that there are issues of setting brg backlash with gasket thicknesses etc. so pulling would eliminate that problem but no idea as to part numbers or where I can get manuals or parts. Replaced carburetor on Tecumseh engine already but genuine parts for the unit is another story. Need tines after the seals so any help would be appreciated. Nice job by the way well done very informative.

Hi, you can do a search on UA-cam for the name Turbinedoctor. He does a complete teardown and rebuild of the transmission, and gear assembly. Watching his videos gave me all of the info that I needed. Good Luck.

I am attempting to install a new cast iron assembly (rebuilt) on my Troy Bilt, having difficulty find a socket with thin enough walls to fit in the opening to remove the bolts on the old one, both are busted, any suggestions welcomed.
