First Earthbag Training

This was a training we did, focusing on the teamwork needed for efficient building, and the right way to fill, tie, and tamp each individual bag. It was also an introduction to how to build arches with forms made from the sandbags themselves, and an introduction to what happens when the wall is not plumb.

Al Baydha project location: 21°03'05.44" N 39°54'10.87" E - it is extremely hard to find without these exact coordinates.
You can follow the site's progress using Google Earth, and witness the transformation of what was a wasteland.
