Hello! Those drone shots are spectacular! Here are few places to visit along Interstate 40 (1)Pyramid Rock Trail at Red Rock State Park adjacent to Gallup, NM (2)Church Rock Trail at Red Rock State Park adjacent to Gallup, NM (3)High Desert Trail System, park at Mentmore Trailhead adjacent to Gallup, NM (4)Bisti Badlands/De-Na-Zin Wilderness located in a remote area, this area is so vast: no facilities, no stores, no gas stations, no restaurants. Anyways, Happy Trails!

Excellent. I'm glad you got to see that. I found it quite interesting when I saw it two years ago.

Nice choice to choose the tree to Quick Shots Circle, nice shot. I have a Mini 2 and as of yet got that to work, I always seem to be on the shadow side and the drone does not want to draw a box. 700 thousand - 3,000 years ago was the eruption period. I looked for craters on the map but did not see them, I read there were multiples. They don't let you look and explore the lava fields, too bad, caves down there. curious place. 65 million years ago you are standing on Western Interior Sea Way. Global Warming may bring some of that back. I know it's hot, but you really should ware proper foot ware for climbing, ....... after all we want you to take risks :), more fun video. Fly sunsets when you can. Enjoy.

Hihello from Germany! I haven't watched youtube in a while, but today I'm enjoying your new videos, Jay! Beautiful! Bizarre rocks and lava fields and impressive views. I like the time lapse and especially the shots you took with the drone! Thanks for filming and editing. Take care and happy trails!

Thank you for this! I saw these spots on the way out to Acoma Pueblo back in 2010. I could’ve spent days exploring that area!

4:49 Wow that timelapse of the sun through the arch was amazing. I think this is the most scenic route. If I was young enough to hike the CDT, I would use a combination of the route that Stella Hikes took and the route that IB TAT took. I would use Stalla's route up on the Rim Trail, then scramble down to the rocks and camp at the base of the arch. That gets all the great views of the lava fields and the arch. Then I would use IB TAT's route and hike the wrong direction on the CDT across the lava fields to the canyon, and hike into Grants from the Southwest through the canyon. That way you can see all the best parts, without too much road walking. 😎👍☮️
