Cool stuff! Sometimes i put all my tools in a dishwasher😁. And you forgot to clean the entrance of the sliding door. You are by far the coolest mechanic in YT!
A great insight in to your world, and in my opinion one of the best mobile mechanics I have ever seen on UA-cam 👍 Ps. I was so impressed with a particular VW Caddy clutch replacement some time ago this man made, that I immediately made a donation, he kindly acknowledged it and asked me to contact him for any technical information that I may need as I will be using that video clutch change to guide me through my first attempt next week. Truly a man of few words but his actions and skills do al the talking
Hi Kevin, Thanks for sharing. You can fix a small nylon strap with 2 screws on your wood blocks. In this way, you have a handle to move the wood blocks. It’s appreciated when it’s make.
You're a beast Kevin and I appreciate your videos! You gave me the courage to take on my own clutch replacement. Without you I would have been lost! I was laughing at this video where you wrote about the piece of wood with the hole in the middle.. very funny!!!
Hope you are OK and things moving in the right direction for you. Love this EP of all your videos. Saw it several times and it keeped my own hopes up to get back to my own work after all my tools got stolen and insurrance refused to pay out for anything bc my van wasent locked when they transported me in the ambulance to the hospital. I cross my fingers hard for you and your family and hope and pray you have better luck in both healing up and recover. Regards from Sweden.
thanks for updated tool video! I bought same power tools and rubber mat from ur previous video! I really enjoy repairing my car during traveling with ur videos. thank you!
Ever noticed if you need 2 bolts from the "Nut & Bolt" box you only have 1 - its a miricle if you ever find enough of what you want !! LOL I spent about £60 at toolstation and bought every nut & bolt size I use & threw my spares box out ! Some how my spare nut box is slowly building AGAIN - must be a mechanic thing to horde nuts & bolts !! Hope you back on the road soon & speedy recovery mate 👍👍
I think if your vehicle is clean on a job it does look better for you the customer judges you if you turn up in a dirty one then they have doubts I once had some "roofers" turn up to do a job I declined them as i looked at the very old pick up even tyres were not good ,stay safe and thanks for the video
good evening Kevin, I am your channel since the debut of France, your courage and your know-how deserves respect.if I can afford a council, you should grind the burrs on the impact tool (37') to avoid taking a chip in the face, It happened in the mechanic’s shop where I worked. Take good care of yourself.
Oh wow! Whiles watching your latest video and reading your captions I stumbled upon your mishap. Very sorry to hear. Hope you have a speedy recovery. Do take care of yourself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By the way, my goodness you do have lots of tools. Love your preparedness when doing your jobs.
Wow, just finished the vid. Hope all is ok from the crash Kev. ❤ P.s. some of the comments were so funny on this video. I.e. if you're not missing tools, then you're not using tools!
Can you do a video on bleeding clutch master and slave cylinder tricks they can be hard work sometimes especially after a hard graft n you like will this play with me or not 🤔. Some cars are easier than others I find but a few tips n tricks would be greatly appreciated 👍🏾
I suffer with skin on my hands my . Im not sure if it effects u but i bought cotten gloves to put under my gloves and my skin has been absolutely perfect since doing bought 100 pairs off amazon
not sure if sealey premier is life time these days? but for torx bits i had a chap st of us pro torx sockets i just hammered all the inserts out and pressed in some wera bits, £20 on amazon for a 30 assorment upto t40, torx are always going to snap and/or twist so i found this a good solution , plus the wera are some of the strongest torx bits , so for 20 quid its a no brainer. have you seen that new M12 stubby gen 2 impact thats just come out? that things is a complete animal , but its not for sale in the UK fo us yet, only usa and canada :(
This Sealey Premier tool set. I’ve been using for 12 years… I can’t fault their durability and quality. Torx I’ve replaced mostly T40 T45. Always happen to snap in winter times. I’ve replaced the long reach ratchet once in that time. A couple of abused 13mm sockets. But apart from that still original. I ordered the particular impact a week before my last job. Still in the box. I’ll do a review on it soon.
Do you ever give a thought to the consequence of a gearbox falling onto your head when you're fighting to get it back in? Last one i did was a only a C3 and it went through my mind....luckily the gearbox didnt...
Hey Kev asked but will try once more! Ever done spring lock on macperson (peugeots in particular 208) with something prior to lifting? I mean for example when the suspension is down on the ground strap the coils from top to shock seat for them at the bottom so when you lift the car it stays same. I may overthink that but it should let the knuckles stay at same position i am just curious if it will not pop the coils of the shocks if they are good enough to push it all down as well as gravity with that. Asking about it because then you could easily undo pinch bolts and take wishbones easily but it is not main concern, main is that at this height of the knuckle the driveshaft will not pop out as it does when the knuckles are hands further down. Any other way if not that to avoid it? Am ashamed to change gearbox oil otherwise when working on something like just one lower arm: cheers!!!
Hope the divorce was amicable mate. Bloody hell 48oz mac hammer i think my 32oz is enough lol. best hammers there are though. Thanks for the humour mate we need it.
6:00 I think you'd be better off with two scissor jacks mounted on a low profile furniture removal trolley. Cheap, strong, stable, and moveable in all directions.
Hoping you have a speedy recovery Kevin ,didn't know. The amount of tools we need to get the job done these days is ridiculous, think we can all agree the cable ties pull us out the shit for multiple things lol
Hi Kevin, have you ever considered talking whilst on camera?. Not sure if it has been asked before, just curious as to why you don't speak, and cover your face haha.
Explaining will prevent you from using your own faculties to determine what is happening. And if anyone messes up they can’t point fingers at me. Covering my face is to protect the everyone from heart attacks or shock. No one wants to see that in public.
Note : Videos are Re-Uploads.
Happy to answer any technical questions that comes with a Donation : Super Thanks/ Super Chats/ Super Stickers.

Take good care of yourself.
Yes. I kinda let it slide sometimes. But always get on top of it in the end. The chisel mushroom over.
We wish you a good and quality recovery
Thank you. Really appreciate it.
9.08... swivel impact...one of my favourites .. saved the day today getting crank pulley undone in the middle of mountain in Catalunya,Spain..😊
It’s one of the most used item in the kit.

Thanks for feedback. Recovery will be a slow one. Still early days. Thanks. Really appreciate the support.
No small task fitting out your “new” van. Hope your well on the mend. 🍻
The day begins after a good cleaning of the van 👌🏼
You know what they say. Cleanliness is next to godliness 🍻😁
@@WMCS At first I thought you would have done the clutch of the van 😅
Lovin your work . Get well soon Kevin 🙏
Thanks man. I have kearned a lot from watching this channel.
That mean a lot. 🍻🍻🍻
As with mechs, we can't do things faster without it. We can improvise but slowly. Therefore, if all inventory is obtained, it is easier to work.
Muchas herramientas, pero siempre se necesita más... nunca es suficiente 😄
😂🍻🍻🍻
Always appreciate your channel.
Thankyou.
He the Clutch King, a living legend. Only comparable to Robert de Niro in "Brazil" (Terry Gilliam): one man, one job, in &out, no paperwork.
😁🍻🍻🍻… that’s it. Like the veterinarian that fix people after work.
This was an awesome video, as always Kev.
Killer tattoos too. 🙂
Thanks 🍻🍻

Nobody:
-Hey Kevin! How many tools You've got?
Kevin:

;-)
😁🍻🍻🍻
in passing Kevin....greetings for 🇬🇷
Greetings 🍻🍻🍻
Take a rest and hope to see you again soon on your channel, meaning you are cured 👍
Slow process… but appreciate it.
Fantastic video 👌🙏
Thanks!
Thank you for the kind gesture. Well received and very much appreciated.
Kind Rgds.

Nice to see your tool kit, hope your well after your accident, what van you thinking of getting?
Might be a Vauxhall still. Fingers crossed soon.
great video
Thanks dude.
Salut Kevin!
Salut …🍻👊
Mike Myers at the petrol station :)
I suffer with skin on my hands my . Im not sure if it effects u but i bought cotten gloves to put under my gloves and my skin has been absolutely perfect since doing bought 100 pairs off amazon
I’ve never used rubber gloves on skin. There’s always a pair of not cotton but nylon fabric oil resistant gloves underneath… dermatitis is real.
Na terenu svaki alat je dragocen ukoliko dodje do nekih problema i nedostaje alat tesko se moze obaviti posao.

But then again I know how to drive ..

Maybe you might get an inch or so. But nothing worth the effort.
@@WMCS thanks for that good to know!
If you drive on a Scale with your Van a SWAT Team will come....
Hope you get well soon!
I’ll do a grant theft auto 😂🍻

All inventar tools price big money. But bought real cheap 1. 2...3.. real full tools price juuuu 😎👍👍😂😂😂

It’s a good idea. But busy has to eventually go underneath the gearbox.
😂😂😂cool mit deine Kopfhaube kann dich keine erkennen😂😂💪👍
First think is hope your on and doing well, the van was a right off, did any tools survive or have you got to start again???

@WMCS ?
You ever do a 4x4 mini sd country man on your back my god id sake your hand if u did
There is one on the channel. 🍻🍻
Hey kevin are u healing well ?
Slowly. Long one
Kev why don't you use the "Quick Ramps" much ?
Intend not to over use it. Unless it’s for RWD that needs all wheels up in air.
That's what I wondered.
Mercedes vito next kev
Yes. I’ve got that to dissect and upload.
Have you ever had a customer that refused to pay you even though you did the job perfectly?
It’s never actually happened to me in 10 years doing this.
But I’ve heard stories from other mechanics.
Suppose it’s how the job is delivered.
👍
🫡👍❤️🇸🇪
Great video
