My wife has a 2007 B7 as well with the petrol motor. What I love the most on this car is the Quattro Drive System. This is awesome and we feel absolute safe on wet roads and drive where normal saloons can't. Secondly, I love the tfsi engine, very robust and affordable to maintain. We love this Audi and don't know how it's gonna be when letting her go one day. We are from Namibia.
I have a 2007 A4 as well. 1. You do have dynamic headlights. I found out when I rented a mustang once and was driving it home and noticed that the bends on the road are dark. I then realized the A4 was putting lights in corners for me and I was just so used to that. 2. This car I think should be considered more important because this car essentially started this 2.0 Turbo, direct injection thing that all German cars have now. 4 Cylinders are not naturally balanced and 2.0 is the borderline of how big a 4 cylinder should be. 3. Six seat heat settings but that's basically all of those Audis. 4. Two exhausts which I love. Audi went to twin on one side after this and the two exhausts came back in the B9. But seeing the smoke dancing upwards in winter in both rear view mirrors is really nice.
I have a 2008 fully stock as in zero mods whatsoever. Beautiful car and very fun to drive. Just gotta keep an eye out for routine maintenance so the vehicle can run in tip-top condition, and also to avoid being leaving you stranded.
Same here fully stock 2008 A4 V6 avant standard. Absolutely love it, the previous owner clearly was an older person who maintained it well for a 16year old car. Car runs and looks like new I’m just watching the maintenance like a hawk 👀 lol
Just got a 08 one lowered and you must have money for these audis especially if your looking for performance its crazy but i love the audi a4 its just it got lack of power fr
Fyp just recommended me it.. was goingto comment on that😅 The cone is essentially breathing hot air *from the exhaust right next to it,* into the intake
The headlight only start moving after going I believe 10MPH! You do have directional headlights. Also if they ever go out, you’ll need to get the D1S HID bulbs.
I think you just bought a full pack s-line version but a quattro one. I also have a diesel and a s4 and those features you mentioned do not exist in both of my b7's
blackforestindustries.com/products/b7-a4-rs-style-grille-full-mesh-black Here’s the link. It will fit, the S line has the same bumper. Thanks for watching! Subscribe if you haven’t!
Those pod "cold" intakes are the worst thing you can do to your engine. It's doing nothing but sucking in heat right off the turbo, hot engine bay air, and defeating the purpose of the intercoolers. Unless it's enclosed and separated from the engine, you're better off with the enclosed and sealed stock setup and a K&N flat filter. Also, a good upgrade for the cheesy two stream windshield sprayers are Passat or Jetta spray nozzles of the same year that have a fan style spray pattern that hits the whole windshield. The things I hate most about the B7 is the plastic coolant flange on the back of the engine block that fails (plastic and boiling coolant, really??), and the goofy oil filter housing setup with the cartridge style filter you have to drain before removing (how dumb😕), and that always fails from warping. I had a 2003 B6 and was able to buy an aftermarket metal coolant flange, and the B6 has a standard spin-on/off aluminum filter. For the life of me I can't understand why Audi would go backward to an old inferior design of oil filter setup 🤔😖. I have a B7 S-Line now, and fixed all the weird quirks and failure points that model is known for (except the goofy filter setup).
Yep! Those are few annoyances - rear coolant flange, oil filter housing, vacuum pump leaks, thermostat goes berzerk earlier than usual (mine at 60K), etc etc etc.
My favourite thing about the B7 is the looks. Best looking A4 in my opinion, and one of the best looking compact sedans ever.
I agree, especially with some tasteful mods 👌🏼
I definitely agree.
Xenon’s move when driving.
It’s especially noticeable when you’re on a winding road at night
just got a 2006 B7 1.9tdi fwd, love it so far. awesome riding experience and plenty of power for a daily driver!

They still had the exhausts on each side on the B8, it was just the higher engined ones, like the V6 TDI's and the 2.0 tfsis

the headlight movement is just to calibrate the sensors for the adjustments when you are fully paked with luggage for example
Also I’d put a heat shield around that Cone filter.. You’re dragging in a lot of hot air without it trust me
Yeah I thought about that, definitely gonna fix it soon
Fyp just recommended me it..
was goingto comment on that😅

New sub! Can you make a video of the mods you've done to your b7 or recommend interior / exterior wise cost?
Awesome, thank you! I have this video where I talk about everything I’ve done to the car. ua-cam.com/video/b-Zb2--IaLY/v-deo.html
H7 bulbs are standard, I think D1S is for newer models with the self adjustable headlights
My 1993 mercedes 300SD had power folding mirrors lol
now thats cool!

Oh bro thank you! I have been so curious and confused about those lights for so long.
If you enjoyed, it mean a lot if you subscribed, thanks!
@@manymotors Been subbed since I got my own B7 about a year ago! Love your Audi!
@@skies_line awesome! Thanks so much man!
Mine is 2007 I never knew it had power folding mirrors
Great feature! Glad you learned something from the video!
same here i had no idea
Not every 07 .. mine doesn’t. Depends on the trim
I missed mine after some berk in a van wrote it off, so I bought her big sister instead...
yep, youve got the halogen headlights and those fome stock with adaptive headlights
Should made a heatshield for that intake or stayed stock.
Yoo where you get that full honeycomb bumper I’ve been tryna find one for the a4 b7 but haven’t
Bro, you sound and look like you're starting at the camera and reading from a script :D

Thanks dude! Appreciate the support, share the videos!

Here’s the link. It will fit, the S line has the same bumper.

Will not fit. You need the rs4 grill for the sline bumper
how'd you set up the cone filter?
I just bought a cone from auto zone and put it on the stock piping. The cone I got comes with rings to make the opening bigger or smaller.
@@manymotors I'm gonna have to give it a try. Not much of a performance change right, just some nice turbo noises?
@@gavindoig6725 no performance really at all maybe a couple horsepower. The only reason I did it was for the turbo noises, which sound sick

Prob the random p0303's or the coolant leaks
You mean to say a V6 3.2. The Rs4 came with a v8 and it's a slightly bigger car.
No, the B7 S4 has a 4.2 V8 and they’re all the same chassis
@@manymotors RS-4 has bigger fender flares.
