This project was created especially the Master of CG Contest. Following the official theme we conceived the Rogue Trooper universe - Remembrance Day and our vision of it.
From the storyboard to the final cut we worked during more than twenty nights in our freetime to bring our ideas to life.
We had a blast working on it. We hope you will enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

As a life long fan of Rogue,this is not a bad effort. The Quartz zone landing area needed to be reflective, but I realise that this would be a rendering nightmare. MORE PLEEEASSE! It would make a great cg series. Venus Bluegenes and Gunnar regeneration. YES YES YES!

Oh, that is awesome!!! Rogue Trooper is probably my favourite 2000 AD character after Judge Dredd. I'd love to see a movie made about him. Considering how Dredd did, it would be amazing

I use to read 2000AD and Starlog , from Prog 27 had up to Prog 240 something.. mind you that's when I was 13/14 , I'm 52 now. Rouge Trooper was awesome! The art work was awesome, Cheers guys

If they ever do a film it might aswell be animated. Rogue Trooper was one of the better characters from 2000ad.
If you're going to send your cloning vessel with potentially hundreds of thousands of troopers without any escort vessels i'm amazed any of them survived long enough to reach there drop pods. animation 8/10 sound 8/10 story 7/10 IMO still ok, better than anything I'd animate.
I still have the game on steam and ps2. Both in good conditions. God i still miss the old days :(

Ultimate Doom Soldier Mine works fine. And yes we want a sequel. But none of us are spreading the word. Pychonauts 2 is coming out. And they have a trailer. And they listen too there fans.

okay i'm gonna just go ahead and say this..... "Rogue Trooper HD Remaster" please.... we need to start a petition or something for this shit to get rebooted... I have very fond memories playing this as a kid... we need it back... NOW, not only was the gameplay and level design awesome, but it wasn't a difficult game to play, the game seemed to have a good story as well, lots of variety.
That's a video game for the original Xbox! He's a GI, Genetic Infantryman, and they're fighting the Norts, over Nu Earth. Interesting story.
+Jack Odenthal Loved the game; based on Rogue Trooper from 2000AD comics (1981-). Rogue is a bit too cool...I kinda like Friday (FR1DAY) and I like Venus Bluegenes, too. Edgier writing.

I'd only accept a Rogue Trooper Film if they had the guy who voiced Rogue also voicing Gunnar, Helm and Bagman.
Because I'm pretty sure all the Troopers are genetically identical.

Someone really needs to make this movie. I've loved this story since I first saw it in Heavy Metal. CGI or not, someone, please, please make this happen.

Great work, man. It's like a combination of the RT stories Glass Zone, Remembrance day and the deployment cutscene in the 2006 game.
A Rogue Trooper movie would be amazing, as long as it isn't directed or written by the dismal team that buggered up the last Dredd film.

Oop!! 0:57 an "homage" to Godzilla's skydiving paratroopers scene. Entering a planet's atmosphere doesn't happen like you just fall straight down like that.

I've never quite understood why the publishers of 2000AD haven't taken this route with their 'properties'.
They nailed the Dredd film, it was awesome, but don't jus rely on that. How good would a D.R & Quinch adult cartoon be ?!

I think they've been a bit wary of taking their properties to hollywood after Judge Dredd 1995. And Dredd was great but it didn't perform that well at the box office.

Interesting concepts of clone troopers.
+Geronimo Williamson It's based on an old graphic novel from the 1980's, I first read a portion of it in Heavy Metal magazine in the 90's. It was a really great story that touched on all kinds or moral and ethical issues.
+TheCBCronin ...there was a long running story called Rogue Trooper in a weekly comic called 2000AD which started in UK in '77 I can't remember what year the Rogue Trooper story emerged but it was great

I'm sorry but there's something HUGE I'm missing here. To me, Rogue Trooper was a mediocre ps2 game that I bought for $1 when I was younger... i didn't get far but it was entirely unremarkable... definitely not "deserves movie or cool cg short“ quality. So if someone can just fill me in...
