Thanks for the info on the rear seal leaking engine oil into the swingarm tube. I just replaced swingarm bearings on an '03 Rancher and the tube was full of oil.
Awesome video. My new rear differential and axle come in tomorrow and I am super glad I watched your previous video when you found the torn boot. It made me look and low and behold it needs replacing as well. This is my first ever mechanic job. Lol
Can you please tell me where you bought parts for this 4 wheeler? It is a 2009 Rancher, right? Also, this video is awesome. I hit the like button and subscribed to your channel. Thanks for any help you may give.
I only got 3 bearings, two or almost same size, but one the center is larger, and the third bearing is a big bearing, when I got it apart, it looks like it has two old bearings in the break hub, I'm confused now
So where you put that new boot at my shaft broke coming from the motor into that u joint, dose that shaft just slide out of the motor and the new one slide back in or do I need to pull the whole motor to change it?
It should just slide out, but you may have to take the swingarm off. It'd probably be a good idea to look in there and make sure nothing else is broken.
I've got differential fluid leaking into my rear brake drum. The hubs are tight, so I don't think my bearings are bad. Should there be any fluid inside the axle tube? or just inside the rear differential? What seals should I look to replace?
When I tore down my side rear carrier bearings, I found two on the right side And two on my left, but my new bearings only came with three bearings, and one is slightly larger in center, is there supposed to be two on the left side also?? Please help, any info on that would be great if u can remember
One issue on the left side of the diff case where the axle tube bolts back you didn't show how to replace that seal or if there are any tricks. I'm leaking fluid out of my axle tube I gotta replace the tube seal an bearing an I figure that diff seal is leaking into the tube.
I have 3 bearings and 3 seals and my left seal was leaking I got it out and the pack came with 3 of each where do the other 2 bearing and the other 2 seals go?
@@gerardoarias1735 I would suggest buying a service manual. Keep in mind that the aftermarket kits may come with more bearings and seals than you need. Most of them are designed to fit several different machines.
You're super awesome dude! Just what I needed to know how to get the boot off without pulling the rear drive shaft out . Thanks!
Glad to help!
I don't think I'll be able to do all this without this video so thank you so much for the tips and tricks on how to. Best video I ever found

I only got 3 bearings, two or almost same size, but one the center is larger, and the third bearing is a big bearing, when I got it apart, it looks like it has two old bearings in the break hub, I'm confused now
Getting ready to do this exact job, any tips or anything I should need to know , that will help, could sure use any advice
Take pics when taking things apart. Label parts in zip lock bags. Don't be scared, just jump in and do it!

does anyone got the part number for the seal that on the rear propeller that holds the oil in? it the one he changed the boot on in the rear
How much and what kind of grease did you use in that rear axle boot?
I don't think I used any Grease.
I've got differential fluid leaking into my rear brake drum. The hubs are tight, so I don't think my bearings are bad. Should there be any fluid inside the axle tube? or just inside the rear differential? What seals should I look to replace?
You'll have to remove the axle tubes and replace the seals on the left and right side of the gear case or " differential".

Can't remember. I made this video a long time ago. I'd look up a parts schematic in your service manual or on rockymountainatvmc.com.
Does grease or something go into the shaft boot and stuff where the yoke is and the shaft?
You can put some grese on the splines. Just clean it really good first.

Can't remember. Video was made years ago. Partszilla may have a video on that
I ordered a new rear bearing kit, it didn't come w orings, and I only got three bearings, is this right for a 350 rancher 2wd
You can look up the schematics on rockymountainatvmc.com or bikebandit.com
Where did you get your seal kits? I got stuff that didn't work.
Moose, quadboss or allballs. They are all usually spot on.
Replacing the spindle inside the gear box. Can I clean it with brake cleaner?
Yes
Can you tell me what kind of table setup your using to have the atv up like that?
Harbor freight 1000 lb motorcycle lift. I've done videos on it. Sub my Channel and you'll see it. Thanks for watching
How’d you take the brake linkages off?
It has cables, not linkage..
I have 3 bearings and 3 seals and my left seal was leaking I got it out and the pack came with 3 of each where do the other 2 bearing and the other 2 seals go?

Okay sounds good It’s just the same four wheeler that you have on video and same seals and everything but thanks anyways! Great video!
can you send a link for the bearing and seal kit?
I think I bought it when I was still working at my old job at a motorcycle dealership. Moose or quadboss will be fine.
Damn, you skipped past the one bit of info I needed to see.
man you left out the part I'm having problems on at 5 mins on video
