I got the engine side of the shaft out but I can't get it out of the diff. Feels like I'm missing something. Ordered a new driveshaft in December, backordered from Honda. Still waiting 4 months later...
Ok thanks for the reply unfortunately mine won’t come off so easy I’ve been pounding on it all day and won’t budge an inch,I’m going to let it soak over night and hopefully that will change things.
Do u know if this shaft was making a clunking noise as well. Mine the four wheel drive is still working but the noise sounds like it's coming from that shaft. I change the dif, axles r all good so it really only leaves me with this?

Hello was your coupler ceased on? if so how did you remove it I can’t seem to get mine off
Thanks for the question. No it was not ceased up. It all disassembled with some gentle taps with a long flathead screw driver and a 3lb hammer.

No noises. The teeth on the spline started to strip out quickly and stopped the front axle from turning.
