Shit im ready to go. Been having those rings for a while but haven't been consistent!! Will try to stick to this routine here for a month!! 3x a week is enough I hope xD
Just today I was blasting out them Body By Rings reps in the public calisthenic park. Whole park was mirin and stood in awe while watching a greek god physique formed by Daniel's wisdom move in spectacular fashion. Jokes aside, I love that your advocating muscle building through bodyweight training!
@@FitnessFAQs BRAZIL calling! Did you use any STAIN for your Wood Rings? I just bought mine and would love tips to look after them properly. Thank you ever so much, you have helped me more than you can imagine with all your videos.
Well done young man! I’m 70 years young and got rings but until your video it didn’t feel right, or good. This is the bee’s knees and I love it. Hard as hell; but I love it. Now I’ve got my son on it too. Great!

You are incredibly well-spoken, easy to understand, and a pleasure to listen to. You know your stuff and you upload very useful content that has helped me greatly. Just wanted to commend you and let you know that you are doing society a justice by sharing your expertise and insight. Thank you
I've clearly watched too many of your previous videos because this is literally what my workout used to be but I've now progressed to added weight, archer/1 arm movements and more advanced movements that I never thought were possible all due to your guidance. cheers Dan!
I am dedicating the rest of this year to your bodyweight evolution program. Next year I will be training with rings and picking up body by rings. Your programs are the real deal, Daniel. Thank you.
This video is better than the ring videos I made. I did a 12 week ring training program and yes you will get jacked! I'm thinking about starting this again.
Tried gymnastics rings for the first time yesterday, I swear just trying to stay stable is enough to get you ripped. They make even basic push-ups so much harder! Going to stick to them as my primary training tool from now on
Hey Daniel, brilliant video...old one but still one of my favorites as it corporates all body parts. Is it possible to show or have video on only triceps using rings...a combined view....thank you so much and appreciate all your energy and focus towards everyone's good health. Cheers
Purchased BBR last year and it's worth it for the information alone, what a bonus that the program is as fun and challenging as I expected to be after I worked through Bodyweight Evolution. Would be good to see a video on fixing imbalances using bodyweight isolation exercises, as the sport tends to be compound movement dominant.
Lawrence Trousdale-Smith very difficult to do. u will need to use some weights and machines would probably be the easiest. if you don't have access to a gym then some cheap weights sets and especially resistance bands will get the job done
Holy shit Daniel, I still remember watching Lower Back Exercises: At Home like it was yesterday. Your channel has helped me so much and I'm very glad that I found you. Thanks to you I'm a big juicy mofo that doesn't get injured.
Great content! I’m still working with the basics, but always good to see other training variations to mix up my own training regimes! Thank you it’s ring day tomorrow. 👍
Best calisthenics videos so far (though I like Tom Merrick as well). Clear, straightforward advices, modesty, no unneeded extras “just for the show”. Great channel, keep up the good work👍
Thanks Daniel! You are always providing new inspiration and ideas for my training and I really appreciate that. Also the weather is perfect for using the gymnastics rings in the park today :)
Could you do a video on how exercise effects or helps mental health, say commonly for anixety/depression? I know you aren't a psychologist, but maybe some tips that helped you, and also dealing with the fitness industries expectations vs reality, how this can affect your goals and health.
Joe Rainey I know you're asking daniel, but I'll throw in my experiences with similar issues. I got a burn-out a while back which has a lot of physical components of anxiety and some despression. First find a training method you like and feel comfortable to mess around with. For me doing bodyweight training works really well because I enjoy it and can do it on my own without someone (or the idea of someone) watching and judging in the gym. During exercise, really try to feel your body and muscles, introspect on the movement. If anxiety or other feeling come up during the exercise, accept them and just watch them pass through. If it feels it is blocked, just watch the barrier so to speak. Watch your breath as well as it goes in and out every moment. Those are my two cents
AK636 Hey my anxiety is a lot better now, I actually did a very similar approach to you that helped me, but I still deal with social battles and am very hard in my self still. being introverted naturally doesn't help 😂😎😎, but I guess you can learn it like any other skill. Neuroplasticity and all 😀
The last part of +AK636's comment is the most important. You want to focus on your breathing. Learn to breath deeper, and through your stomach. All exercises will get your breath going, whether its intensity was as high as HIIT or as low as Yoga. Just breath! I had depression after I lost a loved one to cancer AND my long term girlfriend cheated on me at the same time. Was inert gas and a plastic bag away from killing myself. My psychologist had me on even stronger pills but nothing helped me better than conscious breathing.
AJ Smith Thanks dude yeah I found that too, glad your on the right track now, thats why I do mindfulness meditation. Today was leg day doing barbell squats 90kg(nothing crazy), but was focusing on the breath, I used some of those tips from this channels best friend/nemesis calisthenicmovment. the breath is the most powerul tool, If you want to read about meditation the founder of mindfulness his cds are amazing. jon-kabat-zinn is his name for anyone who is interested about looking into enhancing ur awareness in the present.
Thank you for this! I just bought my first pair of rings and am starting to incorporate them into my training. Once I get more comfortable on them I will look into your program.
Dude rings have changed my life. Cheap, easy, can do it anywhere, bring it on vacation. No need to go to the gym. I can do it on my kids' playground and push them on the swings in between reps. I'll never try freeweights again.

Hey Daniel, to start of I wanna say ( Keep doing what you doing, your videos are the most informative videos om YT ) ! Second, I wanted to ask if you could ever find some time to make a video about handstand, cues and tips on how to balance and keep that "body awareness" I know it's a "trial and error" and about being consistent but I would highly appreciate it. Thanks a lot, keep it up💪🏽 Btw, you're channel is waaay underrated on YT, I wanna see you at 1million soon😡😂
Awesome video. This makes me want to start bodybyrings again haha. I finished the program. Did phase 1 once, phase 2 twice and phase 3 once. I learned a lot and Im really glad that i brought this program. The only reason why I decided to stop on phase 3 (could have continued with harder progressions) is because I wanted to implement more skill based training like what Tom Merricks does. If you can make a video am balancing skills+bodybyrings structure workout, that will be epic :)
Hey Daniel! Thanks for this inspiring video! Could you post a video how to treat or how to deal with injuries on elbows or shoulders coming from overtraining? That would be very helpful ! Thanks alot and greetings from Germany!
Thanks man, appreciate it! I actually follow that one right now, just thought Daniel (FitnessFAQs) maybe had some other good excercises for faster progression.

I've been using weights for many years including body weight exercises pull ups palms away & palms facing for back and bi's but I'm shaw this is gonna be a complete new learning curve for me. Just one question on the harder exercises , did u mean it's better to do less reps and and increase the sets ? Also how do you structure these examples into a weekly Routine what exercises do u put together to form a workout session, would appreciate any advice. Great work 👌
