Well, Mrs. Daniel's mother, you have raised a very fine young man. Inspiring to see that he has put much of his good upbringing towards a worthy cause by helping others. So for being able to share in his wisdom and experience, I thank you for your part in enabling me to. Those meals look excellent as well. Let me know if Daniel is able to loan you out on occasion as a surrogate mother!
+Elena Haskins You are very correct! His mother has taught him well. My grandmother taught painful lessons (I do recall some mild corporal punishment and physical correction), regarding etiquette, respect, and unconditional love. It has taken a long time to see the value in those painful lessons. My beloved and wonderful wife of twenty-one years has benefited from my grandmother's instruction. Unfortunately for my beloved wife, I am continue to suffer from very mild "Knucklehead Syndrome"! Husband can do some stupid things for no good reason!
He seems like a good guys and he knows what he is doing. He really doesn't seem do have a bias or judgment towards one thing to another. which a good thing.
This is the best video on this subject. I love how you didn't waste time and played your visuals with the auditory disclaimer and not one after the other. This is the no-bullshit way to actually help learners. Thank you for staying genuine and honest in this time of click-baiting and complicating.
I like your calm, kind nature when you talk about working out. All your videos about bodyweight exercises and nutrition are really nice to listen to and implement. If I were hearing any of this from those fitness moguls who sound egoistic and rough, I wouldn't even consider trying any of the things I learned. Subscribed and will look forward to learning more!
Hi Daniel, I have just recently found your great yt videos. I very much appreciate your humble and down-to -earth attitude. I have been most of my life on a healthy diet, and I do exercise on regular basis. I absolutely agree with you about having only 3 meals a day. I feel the same, distracted and even tend to put on weight when I have 5 small meals ( in my mind that is 5 snacks) rather than 3 regular ones. Thanks for being an inspiration .
Thank you Daniel! UA-cam is full of pretentious videos like "The best eating plan ever".. I really liked the way you showed you full day of eating, remarking that it is what is good for you. Go on this way man, you're an inspiration!
Thank you for taking the time to give an insight into your eating style you use. I found it very useful especially after my last email to you. It's great how you cater videos to what people ask about and I am sure I speak for most when I say it is appreciated. Keep up the good work!
Again, great video! I agree with all your nutrition philosophies. Its hard for me get my clients to grasp these concepts at times and you put here very eloquently. Health and fitness should be one of the joys of life. Consistency is key and diet and exercise should be fun, not stressful with ups and downs. You can eat the things you love and enjoy life rather than turning them into a negative thing. That only leads to binging....Keep it up man!
You are great. Your presented mental state is aspiring!!! Helps me to keep cool and work steady, instead of getting frustrated and giving up. Thank you for your videos!
Can't forget the Moms! I am a solid 3 meal a day person also. Nice to see someone at your stature and your fitness level doing what I do as well. Great video. Keep up the good work
FitnessFAQs This is unrelated to this video, but can you please read it and give me your thoughts. So I was able to do around 12 reps of pull ups about 2 months ago then I had exam break where I only worked out 3 times during the whole 3 and a half weeks. After I got back to training. I can only do 5 pull ups with proper form then I rest for 2 minutes then I'm able to get only 3 or 4 in. I took another break for 1 week when I got sick. After I recovered I did a deload week and still my strength is still the same. I have been eating enough and sleeping 8-9 hours usually. Sometimes 7- 7 1/2. Any help would be appreciated.
***** I don't have access to heavy weights atm. Heaviest dumbbells I have is 31 kg. For rows I can do 12 reps with that. But on pull ups I'm really struggling.
I have never been able to eat six meals a day. I really like that you share from experience and pointed that everything works different for everyone. Thanks for sharing!
I like your intuitive approach to eating. It's something we shouldn't stress about. Eat a balanced diet without too much processed and refined fats and sugars and you will be right! Simple!
Finally some nutrition. There are hundreds of training videos on the internet and how to train, but everybody of those motivation/training channels/personas talk about nutrition or extremely rare, which is weird because without it, the people wont progress. It might sound trivial to some advanced people, but as a beginner this should be the first thing to learn
Holy moly, the size of that morning smoothie got me :D:D And I thought that my breakfasts are big. That might be the reason why I struggle to keep the intensity when really hit the ground and train as often as possible. Pretty good real life example from someone who knows what is doing. This provides decent perspective. Thanks a lot!!
I've been following you for a few months, but this video made me subscribe. I love your approach with nutrition, I started bodybuilding 1 year ago and the 6 meals a day thing was frustrating for me too. Anyways, your channel is really nice, keep the good work!
Regarding my eating habit, i follow an old saying: Breakfast, eat like an emperor. Lunch, eat like a king. Dinner, leave for the enemy. Especially in the evening, i try not to stress my bowel, so it can relax and regenerate through the night. Back in the day, i ate a lot at dinner, but i tried that old saying and it worked well for me. My sleep is better and deeper too. I don't watch the exact quantity of food i eat either. I don't even look at my weight often, i use the mirror sometimes and if i like what i see, its okay. Especially with a lot muscle mass, weight can be deceiving. I like to snack some things between breakfast and lunch and until 6 pm. Things like dried apricots, dried meat and Chia seeds ( with a lot of water ). I avoid bad quality food like the devil the holy water though. If you i had to choose between a small amount of quality food and a big amount of bad quality / GMO "food", i would always take the former option. Good food does real wonders to physical and psychlogical capabilities.
THIS WAS PERFECT! Thank you so much Daniel! :D this is exactly the video I needed! the gentle way you explain things is so clear and easy to follow. You are a great teacher/trainer. Kudos to your awesome mom! :P Sorry for delaying your breakfast haha XD I have a few questions: what do you usually snack on if you snack at all? if things like rice and potatoes are carbs and I wanna loose weight, should I stay away from them most of the time? How much water do you drink a day? is it important? Thank you!
Using THC allowed me to get out of the skinny guy mindset and start eating more like a beast. Combined with consistent training and results are coming in fast
Really good video showing portions of foods you eat. I have a fee questions Daniel - 1. Approx how much protein do you consume on training and non training days? 2. Inspiration for you: Try clean Vegan. I eat oatmeal with bananas, Tahin and water in the morning (2 bananas, 100g of each and 400 ml water) and for dinner a big bowl of salad (rice or noodles mixed up with the same amount of some raw cut vegetables, and as a sauce just sieved tomatoes). No salt (in the beginning everything tastes like nothing, but believe me, 3 months later everything tastes better than ever). No sugar. These are concentrated chemicals. Lots of water
Daniel I love your channel, great content. All your advice seems to be science based which is excellent, as well informative and very motivational. I notice that carbohydrates are a good proportion of your diet, with the recent (last few years anyway) trend of Low Carb, High Fat eating (LCHF), and intermittent fasting mainly aimed at lowering inflammatory responses in your body whether you have an opinion on this dietary lifestyle. The LCHF lifestyle seems to be supported by many medical professionals both international as well as Australian based Doctors....Thanks again for a great channel...
That's a huge breakfast. I intermittent fast ( I eat first meal at 11 or 12 noon and last meal at 7 pm). Even then, I wouldn't be able to drink all that. I'm trying it but with about 30% of that. Looks good. ☺
Have you weighed your food / counted macros in the past? I've found that once you've done that before, it's much easier to eat intuitively, such as displayed in this video
This is what I'm talking about. I'm so frustrated with these militant minded people who follow certain diets and claim that if your not doing what they do then you won't get the same awesome results. I also have a GIANT issue with all the people who claim their awesome physiques are mostly made in the kitchen and not the gym(or wherever it is they workout). What!? So if you only worked out half as hard as you do now but still ate the same diet you'd still get the same results??? How does anyone believe this??? Doesn't it make much more sense that if many different people can have opposing opinions to diet and fitness but all have fantastic results none the same that much of what they are trying to argue about diet just isn't true at all? And based on that doesn't it seem increasingly likely that the results they experience are because of their overall work ethic and not any specific type of fad diet. AHHHHH SO ANGRY!
True look at floyd mayweather he eats pizzas and burgers and he's I'm awesome shape then again he works out 3 times a day so he burns all those calories so you can work out a bad diet
I laughed hard when you said "I have to take out my girlfriend at least once a week", that was glorious, also your videos help a lot, thanks for making them

definitely would hoover that lunch because one of my favourite things to eat is broccoli and also the dinner looks bomb!! more FDOE videos Daniel plz :D
I'll be verry short on what I eat maybe 5 days a week ,I have 4 meals for the day. 1 meal is my breakfast 4 eggs, tomatoes and a glass of raw kefir 2 meal is 110-130 grams chicked breasts with brockoli 3 meal is like my pre-workout it is oats with raw kefir, banana and berries and 4 meal is my post-workout its chicken, pork or veal meat with rice and rukula :)) That works for me through the 2 years I've been training :))
Hi Daniel - great thanks for another video!!!!!!!! Your content is totally awesome!!!!!!!! What is your opinion on high carbs breakfast for people at the age of nearly 50 years old (active male). Should we limit carbs intake (as some experts admit) or this is absolutely individual?
I would also recommend training on an empty stomach. The body uses most amount of energy digesting food and you were trying to train as well? It will take a little bit getting used to because you have a habit of eating. And I would also recommend not eating for an hour after that way the body will eat the fat in the muscle and not the food that you digest

Interesting approach. It's nice you gave detail to provide insight for an alternate approach to "conventional" eating.
My parents are 87 and 91. Their admonishment has always been: eat a wide variety; eat what's in season; eat in moderation. Hard to beat that advice.

The biceps of a champion! Nice work!
the best full day of eating that i've ever seen!!!......
Really good video showing portions of foods you eat. I have a fee questions Daniel -
1. Approx how much protein do you consume on training and non training days?
2. Do you not emphasize fats? eggs? avocados? coconut oil? nuts?
3. Finally.. how do you eat so damn much? Doesn't shoveling so much food down your throat get difficult? I have small eating capacity and don't know how I can get in sufficient calories without feeling like puking.
4. Gaining muscle comes with fat on belly. How do you stave that off?
Thanks a lot for putting up great info!
You are a beast, Daniel. And you are lucky to still have your mom preparing meals for you! That would help so much with the quality of my meals and gains, haha.
Thanks for the tips man. Keep up the good work on your videos. I need all the help I can get.
Thumbs up lots of great information in this video. Keep it up!
Still love your videos to this day, even though I’m not with you when it comes to diet 😅
Do you ever eat vegetarian meals?
I mean except for breakfast?
I didn’t want to admit at first... but I feel so much better on a vegan diet.
Much love.
You are a cool eloquent individual. Funny too! Your breakfast looks too big for me, however the other meals I could join them for one big snack. :) Your definition is great, especially the arms! Keep making videos, they are uplifting!
Thanks for the tips, everything you said makes sense. I like what you said about having a liquid meal in order to train not too long after. It takes a long time for me to digest and be able to train after a descent meal, so I'll try that!
AWESOME vid, I want more of those please!!!
Great video, Daniel! I enjoy your videos! Shout out to your mother!

it ws so simple n easy to maintain....
That's a huge breakfast. I intermittent fast ( I eat first meal at 11 or 12 noon and last meal at 7 pm). Even then, I wouldn't be able to drink all that. I'm trying it but with about 30% of that. Looks good. ☺
Cool vid bro, thanks! Dem biceps damnn
Another video on nutrition would be great dude!
Have you weighed your food / counted macros in the past? I've found that once you've done that before, it's much easier to eat intuitively, such as displayed in this video
Finally done a video on diet!
What!? No pain, no gain! Applies as it always has.

Thanks for your video's bro, they're really helpful
I'll be verry short on what I eat maybe 5 days a week ,I have 4 meals for the day.
1 meal is my breakfast 4 eggs, tomatoes and a glass of raw kefir
2 meal is 110-130 grams chicked breasts with brockoli
3 meal is like my pre-workout it is oats with raw kefir, banana and berries
and 4 meal is my post-workout its chicken, pork or veal meat with rice and rukula :))
That works for me through the 2 years I've been training :))
MrMcadamry Hey, man, just because you dip your dead plants with poop juice doesn't mean everyone does...
MrMcadamry do you just hang out on this channel trollin cos you're jelly or cos you don't have the strength to gooutside
Great nutrition vid!
This guy could lull me to sleep
I would also recommend training on an empty stomach. The body uses most amount of energy digesting food and you were trying to train as well? It will take a little bit getting used to because you have a habit of eating. And I would also recommend not eating for an hour after that way the body will eat the fat in the muscle and not the food that you digest
