Got a little bit late into pokemon with Silver but regardless, those are some of the best memories I have of my late childhood and I wouldn't change anything.
There is a much easier Pokemon cloning glitch in gen 2 that doesn't require a sacrifice or multiple Game Boys. Just save in front of a PC in a Pokemon centre, deposit the Pokemon you want to duplicate, change boxes, then when the game is saving shut the game off. If done correctly the Pokemon you wanted to clone will be in your party and the PC box you deposited it in. It only works in Gold and Silver.
My reaction as well. Who doesn't know this? Take me to these people, where are they? Mewtwo was known before the advent of the internet. Everyone knew this one.
Mystery Egg and shiny babies: in Pokemon Crystal, you are given an egg the first time you talk to the daycare couple in Goldenrod City, from which ANY of the gen2 baby Pokemon can hatch AND at a 50% shiny rate. you can use the PC cloning glitch by saving before getting the egg to get infinite Mystery Eggs and easily get shinies of every gen2 baby Pokemon.
@@autumbreeze1129 after you get the master ball, use the PC glitch to clone it and you can catch Entei and Raikou easier. you can also save before fighting Suicune, catch it, and then use the PC glitch to have a Suicune without catching it. this allows you to have different Suicunes, instead of just clones of the same one. this works with all overworld encounter mons.
You said Machamp evolves into Machoke through trading, though you acknowledged that Machamp was the final form in the line. (I had to turn on closed captions and watch it a few times to make sure I hadn't heard it wrong)
Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow - The Mystery Truck. Right before you enter The St Anne there's a truck to the right, supposedly Mew is under it but there's nothing there.
There are also (unofficial) Missingno plushies, which I thought was hilarious when I found out about them. I first saw them advertised on a GDQ playthrough IIRC.
Anyone who has played Pokémon stadium 2 is well aware that earthquake, magnitude feral double damage when the opposing Pokémon is underground, fissure also hits when the opponent is underground. The same thing goes for gust & twister dealing double damage when the opponent is airborne.
Number twelve is actually a variation of the Missingno glitch, which happens when the game tries to pull an encounter table but only gets garbage data (during set-up for the glitch, the player's name is stored in the last encounter table accessed slot to retain it). This means any table can be retained and brought to Cinnabar/Seafoam's east side and spawn pokémon found on those tables (I figured that 6 months after buying the game, it's why I was able to finish my pokédex without wanting to break my game boy in half).
Pokemon Red, Blue and Yellow The Mew truck, Mewtwo and Missigno are the biggest hidden secrets in Pokemon games, but as a big Pokemon Emerald fan i'm surprised that I didin't even knew about Faraway island Mew even as an old Pokemon gamer since Ruby, Sapphire and Emerald my childhood I learn new thingsa from Pokemon in everyday! Like what Missigno really is? These Pokemon videos are the very best! 😍🔥
I caught a shiny green Golbat in the original gold and silver. It was on the square next to where you encounter red.Odder still my friend who had also encountered a shiny green golbat on the same game had traded with me earlier for another Pokémon.
I was having to re-play Scarlet and Violet due to my old Switch dying and my new one requiring my memory card get reformatted and its data deleted. In the last two weeks, within about 5 days, I've found a total of seven throughout both. Three in Violet, and Four in Scarlet.
Charizard can and can't fly - In Pokemon red and blue Charizard (despite having wings) can't fly, but if you import him to Pokemon Yellow teach it fly and import it back to red and blue it'll learn fly.
I got one for FireRed and LeafGreen: the Roaming Pokemon Roar glitch. Roaming Pokemon are often the Bane of any Pokemon player's existence. However in FireRed and LeafGreen, a glitch made them even more agonizing. After the main story, one of the Legendary Beasts from Johto begin roaming the Kanto region (Entei if you chose Bulbasaur, Suicune if you chose Charmander, and Raikou if you chose Squirtle). Obviously, Roaming Pokemon will automatically attempt to flee on their first turn in battle, with the only way to prevent them from doing so is to use a trapping move (like Mean Look) or Ability (like Shadow Tag or Arena Trap). While this makes trying to catch Suicune much easier, Entei and Raikou unfortunately know Roar, which forces the opposing Pokemon out of battle. Unfortunately, due to a glitch in Generation III, getting Roared out of the battle is treated as if the Roaming Pokemon was KO'd. And in Generation III, a Roaming Pokemon that is KO'd or uses Roar to end the battle will not respawn. That's why it's ideal to use the Master Ball to catch whichever Legendary Beast roams Kanto.
Not only that but the roaming encounters in gen 3 (excluding Emerald) are glitched. Instead of RNGing the IV of roaming pokemons from a range of 0-31 it RNG from 0-6 (if i'm not wrong, but the IV is almost 0 all the time). This makes roaming mons from Ruby, Saphire, Fire Red, Leaf Green useless in competitive battles or in the battle tower/frontier.
8: it did not got discovered in 2003 I knew that since 1999 in Greece there were a lot of kids who knew that glitch but very few knew how to implement it correctly
i hate to be the bearer of bad news here but in pokemon go..alakazam has a final evolution....and im probably not the first to see it....while alakazam needs mega candy and epic loads of stardust just to help it along to evolve, im probably not going to see this for another year or 2 lol
14:10 this... was a thing? Why? There was a much simpler cloning glitch with saving in front of the PC, depositing the Pokemon to be cloned start changing boxes but turning off/restarting the game before the saving phrase finishes. You get the clone and don't have to sacrifice any other Pokemon nor do you need another game to make it work. There were people who really chose to do the trading glitch instead? Seriously?
In my original Pokemon Silver copy, I encountered and caught a shiny Larvitar. That was my first ever shiny Pokemon. Sadly, my save battery for the game died years ago. I wish I would've put that Larvitar in one of the Pokemon boxes for Pokemon Stadium 2 to keep it safe for the future.
In Red and Blue, you could also use the Missingno glitch to spawn certain Pokémon based on your trainer name. Naming your character BAZ would spawn a wild Bulbasaur, which you could catch at level 128 and use Rare Candies to level it up to 300 before it reset back to 0.
Right from the start you got it wrong, #20 isn’t in Yellow, it was patched out of that version. So not only is the thumbnail wrong, the actual video is wrong too since you write “red, blue, yellow” just 35 seconds into the video.
ooh, real sick burn on the comment section there at the start, dude 🙄 it's like i always say: if you don't like nerds correcting you about everything, then just STOP GETTING EVERYTHING WRONG

What a blessing growing up as a kid and experiencing Red, Blue and Yellow for the first time.
Amen 🙏🏾
Nostalgia 101 ^_^
Got a little bit late into pokemon with Silver but regardless, those are some of the best memories I have of my late childhood and I wouldn't change anything.
@ Silver was amazing. I don't think they could have made a better sequel.

I was just about type that out i was like that not how you do the cloning glitch
Bingo! Came here to comment exactly this! I was cloning entire PC boxes of Mewtwo’s 😅
🙏 Thank you so much. Thought I was crazy remembering that, glad someone else knows about this, too.
It works in crystal too, but it's harder to pull off
But the don’t go to the Pokédex so it’s a little annoying
I absolutely REFUSE to believe "many players still dont know Mewtwo is in the original series".
My reaction as well. Who doesn't know this? Take me to these people, where are they? Mewtwo was known before the advent of the internet. Everyone knew this one.
Number 3 is a glitch that allows you to have over 100 of an item that you can have multiple of if it is in the sixth item in your bag.

🤦♀️ I'm literally playing VC Crystal and got the egg just 2 days ago.
Why didn't I think of this before that?🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

@@mitchellslaughter2963 I already caught Raikou and Suicune, so they're not applicable in my current playthrough
Its funny how when you go all the way up to the gen 9 games, every city is glitch city
You said Machamp evolves into Machoke through trading, though you acknowledged that Machamp was the final form in the line. (I had to turn on closed captions and watch it a few times to make sure I hadn't heard it wrong)
Congrats Sherlock
There also was a glitch in red or blue that multiplied the 6th item in your inventory. So you could have have infinite rare candy or master balls
Literally looking to see if anyone else posted about this. Always knew it as the rare candy glitch cause you could get endless candies.
@eduardocarmona9396 that's part of the missingno glitch
It’s in this list. It’s a side effect of missingno
Pokemon Red, Blue, & Yellow - The Mystery Truck. Right before you enter The St Anne there's a truck to the right, supposedly Mew is under it but there's nothing there.
They should've made Missingo an actual Pokemon.
There's an entire unofficial format for missingno and glitched Pokémon in RBY battling
Beating Red with only a Pineco was still my greatest Pokemon feat! Defense Curl and Rollout OP 😂

Forgot the invisible pc was also a hidden secret in older generations

Or just use a game shark to give it fly.
Try fishing inside either of the two statues in any gym in red and blue

anyone else notice the rapidash bit was a image of ponyta?
The problem with catching mewtwo at the end of red and blue is the game is finished and there’s nothing further to do with it. 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️
Mathew is the all time greatest Mojo narrator
So on Golden silver you could do the cloning of Pokémon the same way as trading but in the PC so you didn’t need another copy of the game
8: it did not got discovered in 2003 I knew that since 1999 in Greece there were a lot of kids who knew that glitch but very few knew how to implement it correctly
Good video didn’t know of some of the facts
If the stats are right (i don't know the exact values) but a pokemon will be shiny when transfered from gen 1 to gen 2
I caught mew in Pokémon yellow
Same!

My first shiny experience (other than Gyarados) was a raid battle in Y. 5 Gligar spawned and 1 was purple. Um, I think I should catch that one.
I abused the missing no cheat so much. Used it to beat Pokemon stadium
had my headphones at full volume for that intro 💀
I've never heard it pronounced kangaskhan before. Like Kangas- can / Like a can of kangas
Non of these have been "secrets" in 20 years some are non at all like the Gold and Silver Red battle that's just part of the game
11:13 is referencing Twitch Plays Pokemon: ATV vs Dragonite.
Clone pokemon, old memories😢
Red is tough but I beat him pretty easily

Why have a missingno when you can have a missingyes?
6:05 WHO?? Who are these people!!??
Maybe a fucking toddler cus ain't no fuckin way man😂
U dont need a link cable for clone glitch 😅
Well that was tauros poops.
You complicated the Pokemon clone like all to hell
I love theses secrets
A well-timed F-bomb in this video? 😒
Have yourself a like 😏
Missingno is not in yellow.
A Mojo Narrator that cares about pronouncing shit correctly? That's a first.
No hidden secrets n Crystal, Heartgold or SoulSilver?
