Let me know which one you do and if you're gonne switch it up! 🙌🏼
I'd like the one where there's some on top and some on the bottom (inner corner wing?). But the other one look ls more doable.
Depends on my mood 😉
I want to give the left eye (our left) one a go on my downturned eyes! My current liner pens are blunter than the Hindash one though.
@@rebekahearly1144 the super skinny fine eyeliner by clinique is the only one I've found I can work with.
have never tried lining my inner eyes before. i can barely get the wing right. lol i didnt wanna push my luck! but will try it!
Your face is one of the most pristine canvases I've ever seen. Your face without makeup is a joy. With makeup it is art. You never disappoint!
😭🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Seriously 🥺🥺 love Alex so much!!
She is so beautiful!
So true👏❤
i love this comment 😭
YES! More natural light please, it brings out the green in your eyes and it's kinda "cozier"...Much needed tips as usual, thank you!
Cozy 🥰
i thought she meant the lighting this time was like 'natural light' cuz you can see the has them displayed in the reflection of her eyes
i love natural light !!
YES!! I COULDN'T UNDERSTAND MYSELF WHAT I FELT BUT THE WORD WAS COZYY. It just feels so warm n cozy w this lighting. im so used to beauty ytrs using extremely light n bright blurry background that this shocked me 'cos its so calm n cozy
Alex: shows different ways to apply liner in inner corner flawlessly
Me: *cries in epicanthal folds*
MY LIFE STORY. its weird too one eye is more pronounced than the other i rly like inner corner liner i havent figured out how to do it for my eyes.
@@EclecticEdits ME TOO soml 😭😭😭
YES it’s a struggle because any liner in the corners gets hidden
Story of my life!
You can not just move the line a bit closer to the nose ? I cant see how epicanthal folds would be a problem.
EVERYTHING about your attitude and personality is so attractive. Like when the cool girl in school becomes your best friend. That’s the only way to describe the feeling
You are the only person really TEACHING make-up techniques out here. Selfless QUEEN, you do the work so all of us hooded eyes betches can look like absolute foxes. All of my love to ya
This changed the WHOLE game for me!!!! I've always wanted to rock that inner corner look but my 40 yr old eye wrinkles would not let me....until now ! 100% game changer ... thank you sooo much dude xxoo
U do NOT look 40 at all!!!!
@@beauty-rr2wp yes she does
I understand that this was probably like this for educational purposes, but I have to say this is a look. and I love it. nothing much else, just great skin and a bit of eyeliner. love it.
Yes!! A fresh face with just eyeliner, it’s going to be a big thing in the coming years I think.
i used to love doing full faces of makeup just for fun about 5 years ago. now i am absolutely sick of that. i hate putting it on, i hate feeling it on my skin. i did a complete 180. i can only stand to wear mascara and concealer, and if im really in the mood, eyeliner. i almost feel prettier wearing less makeup. its definitely a look. really effortless and cool!!
@@spacebar9733 i already do that i don't wear foundation nor concealer i only wear eyeliner and a little bit of blush that's it no mascara no eyeshadow no bronzer and i feel like it's the best makeup routine/look i've ever worn
@@merywastaken yes, I definitely know what you mean, that’s like half of my everyday look (I add lipgloss and lipliner). Less is more. It’s a beautiful and easy look.
It's rare these days with everyone caking on layers and layers of makeup.
the most helpful video ive seen so far about this "inner corner trend".
I feel like the lighting is the best you’ve had since I’ve started watching your channel. It’s so soft and natural
"And tends to be the one I go for" LMAO.. so relatable
Absolutely ✨living ✨ for the pink hair! It’s already faded so much from the zoom video , can’t wait to see the next colour!
It fades SO fast 😩
as a newly out enby makeup is basically witchcraft to me XD but im slowly learning
Congratulations! I have an enby friend who goes by Will as well. It’s a lovely name for a lovely person
@@user-dg3ug7ny5d omg thats so sweet! thank you
Super helpful. Going to experiment with the "catty" one because I've got lovely hooded eyes at 63 and just learning about makeup application. I fell in love with your natural beauty and knew ANYTHING shared would be amazing coming from your channel. Your face is absolutely arresting. Thanks for EVERYTHING I've learned from you💛
Me: Man, I hate doing a wing, it always ends up covering like half my upper lid.
Alex: Lemme show you not only my awesome thin wing, lets give you another spot to put eyeliner where you will inevitably start with something subtle but end up looking like a 2004 Top 8 contender.
Me: Yeah, that sounds about right.
All joking aside, thanks for these. They help me figure out new ways to play with makeup!
I am so bad with eyeliner, so I'm here for this video! Love the "dude" series! 💜
I'm obsessed with how straight-to-the-point you are. Finally a video where I don't feel the need to skip ahead every 2,5 seconds
Absolutely
Her thumbnails too, not bs
the silence in the pauses she takes from talking when she’s focusing in so satisfying
Omg this is a game changer: I’ve been trying to do an inner corner for years and it’s never looked right and given me the foxy look I wanted it to on my downturns eyes
Look at these helpful videos on eyeliner.
Look at all these eye makeup tips on UA-cam.
Look at all the different type of wings.
*cries in hooded eyes*
FOR YEARS I WONDERED WHY MY WINGED EYELINER MADE MY EYES DROOP. SUDDENLY EVERYTHING MAKES SENSE. THANK YOU.
Every single challenge I’ve faced with makeup, you’ve come out with a detailed video on how to make it work. You’re just the best & I adore you. Thanks again for another great tutorial. 🖤
i just loved the fact that there is noo music...not advertised things...no unnessary talking... honestly I AM SO GLAD I FOUND YOUR video
Ok, this convinced me to try the inner cat eye thing and i immediately got complimented on it! definitely out of my typical makeup comfort zone but gave me a real RBF vibe which I loved. Thanks for the simple tutorial!! You have really rekindled my interest in makeup recently.
This is cool to see the side by side difference! And the lighting is sooo good! Would love to see more videos in this lighting, it makes it way easier to see what it really looks like. Hope you have a great day!
You’re answering questions i never knew I had. I LOVE the bottom inner eye wing, will definitely be giving it my best shot
I love how the titles of these get more and more casual
Your videos are so simple & easy to follow & I love how instead of just doing different makeup looks like most makeup youtubers do you also show us exactly how makeup works & how it can alter you face/eye/lip shape etc. Basically how it is a form of art! I love it!!
Oh. My. God! I have downturned eyes (with serious hoods) and eyeliner has always been a struggle, so I love the way the lower inner corner helps them balance out. Thank you so much, I’m absolutely incorporating this now
Woooaaaah! Totally trying this
I love how your confidence has grown over the past year, how your skin has improved month after month, it's quite remarkable the difference. Now when you look in the mirror you linger, you have the glint in your eye, you feel more content, it's good to see you finding your contentment.
I just assumed the effect would be the same no matter how the inner corner was applied .... Nope! The difference between the two applications is ridiculously visible.
Guess I'll be working my inner from corner liner from now on. 💗
NO.EXCUSES! I literally have a hooded eye and a non hooded eye, both with different sizes and droops and with the shape of my eyeliner I can make them look very similar now, thanks to videos like these.
This actually answers my questions as to why I never liked this look on me. Cause I was doing it on the top rather than how you've just suggested, on the bottom! Thank you for this! Also, I want your face, you're stunning 😭❤
She is a good teacher, and very good at makeup!
I think HER left eye looks much better than the other!
THANK YOU SO MUCH AND YES NATURAL LIGHTING IS THE BEST LOOKS SO SOFT AND GLOWY
i've always done my "extender" on the upper lash line but the bottom one looks bomb! deff gonna try that out 🤩
When your eyes are so hooded that the upper eyeliner would not be visible, lol.
Still a great video, you're working with your eyes, so no expectation that you'd understand the disappearing eyeliner, lol.
Down turned hooded eyes will be the death of me. Some eyeshadow as eye liner for me
I loved the side by side comparison to accentuate the differences in these eyeliner styles.
You never fail to make me think about new ways to see my own features, and to think about makeup in new ways. I've learned so much watching your videos.
You truly have a gift.
Your skin is gorgeous and the lighting was perfect!
dude thank you so much for this series. i have genuinely learned so much and my makeup game has improved DRAMATICALLY because i finally understand the way things can work. LOVE YOU THANK YOU!!
I have quite round eyes and the solid line of upper liner can emphasise that roundness (especially as I can't usually get the inner corner extension right) The second way makes my eyes seem more almond shaped and more of a cat eye. I have only done it for stage makeup though, not for everyday. I'm going to give it a go with a minimal look because it looks so good on you.
I agree with this as well
me too! thank you for saying this because maybe i’ll give it a shot! i always hate how eyeliner looks on me which is so annoying bc i feel like everyone else seems to look great with it
I have almond eyes but with the first one It makes me feel my eyes look less ummm how to say it ... Make them look less elongated than they generally are even without makeup... So the second technique is the one for me always
i know this was just a short video but something about watching you apply makeup and the softness of your voice makes it hypnotising
Yes to the lighting! It’s very smoothing and just.. chef’s kiss 🤌🏻
I do like the lighting.
I love the look of inner-corner highlights and eyeliner, but people who can do those techniques must not have my eyes’ tendency to wateriness. Whenever I try to place anything right near the inner corner of my eye, I end up with a mess. ☹️
Do you use eye primer? If you do what eye primer do you use? Inner corner highlights with glitter glue or some kind of mixing medium too might help them stay longer, and if anything I also spray my face with a lot of setting sprays including my eyes (my eyes are closed lol) even if I'm not supposed to
I have to use an eye primer and very strong waterproof pen eyeliner. I use a Japanese brand as east Asian brands tend to be more water resistant
Have you tried applying it a tiny bit farther from your inner corner? She does hers father from her inner corner than most youtubers seem to
I have the same problem. Even after applying my eyes still water throughout the day and if I don’t dab at the inner corner then I’ll just have tears running down my cheeks. Are there seriously people who can wear this look for any length of time?
@@CHOCHEEPO I do use eye primer, Nars and Urban Decay, and setting spray, but they’re no match for my allergies (and yes, I use allergy eye drops every morning, and I take allergy shots). I can use eye shadow and liner, just not in the very inner corner.
The lighting is wonderful also i immediately noticed the effect the eyeliner has on your eye shape. Wonderful video!
The natural light is just gorgeous on your skin!
Your videos have given me such a better understanding of makeup application and I actually get compliments on my makeup all the time now
Cool makeup trick Alex! I am one of those girls that tried but just couldn't rock the inner cat eye thing bc of my downturned eyes. Can't wait to give this a shot!😘
love this, I've always hesitated to do the whole inner corner look because I feel like it makes my eyes look closer together... but I want to try both looks now!
Can we all just give a round of applause for the swiftness of which you begin your videos? It’s amazing and so appreciated. So many people taaaalk and pose for dayyys before starting. I love that you just get to it.
I like the natural lighting and I’m liking the eye liner on the bottom look the best. I’m going to give it a try.
Very cool Alex. I used to do wings and inner corners but that was way back when Punk Rock was in its infancy in the mid 70's. I did it for years but you get to a certain situation, at a certain age, when your eyes dont want to cooperate like they once did. I am developing hooded eyes and the inner corners, for a while now dont stay and always want to bleed into the waterlines. It looks gorgeous both ways on you though. The photo is me back then.
Woah! That’s amazing! I typically only tightline, for a couple of reasons. First reason: I’m running late for work 99% off the time and I’m much faster at tight lining. Second: Please bear in mind that this is not a complaint! I have long, fairly thick eyelashes and I have a hard time seeing where I’m putting my eyeliner! I do try to practice when I have time on the weekends and I’m not rushed but I do struggle with placement.
Watching this has inspired me to play around with it more and see what I can make work! As always, thank you! I’m almost sixty, I’ve been in a committed relationship with eye makeup for a LONG time, and I’m always learning something new from you!
Try playing with different colors!! Like navy blue and dark purple and dark emerald green!
Explaining the impact on shape of the various techniques is helpful and interesting. I dont tend to think so analytically about my face but to really focus on the ‘good bits’ these types of short videos are great. Thanks
I really like when you show alternatives and how it affects your face shape. Blush, contour, bronzer, highlighter, eye pencil, etc,
Do you have any tips or recommendations for someone who might just have verrrry like…WATERY eyes? I find that I struggle with any inner corner, waterline, and even some lower lash line (especially outer corner) details in eye looks. I can’t even get them on since those areas of my eyes are just perpetually wet. It is THE MOST FRUSTRATING when I see pretty things like this that I can’t really try.
This is me too. I can't keep eyeliner in my inner eyes. 😩
Same omg
Same, I just end up with a lot of black eye gunk
Maybe just try lightly applying super waterproof mascara to the base of your lower lash line. I'm not a big under eye eyeliner girl but I like a little drummer down there and that's kind of how I get it
Same + it's soo itchy there
TEACH ME
I will always appreciate how concise your videos are. I’ve been trying that inner corner look for age, unsuccessfully. I gotta try it on the bottom now
Yes I like the lighting. Ty!
I swear as a makeup newbie your tutorials are a blessing. THANK YOU FOR THIS
Her eyes color is so gorgeous I can't even.
Not only looks a million times better, easier to do, but it's also a perfect way for people with an epicanthic fold (like I do) to actually be able to do corner liner! Thank you 💕
LOVING this setup. Not having a backdrop and natural lighting makes the video super cozy imo💗
Honestly Girl, screw any hater. You were following and bringing awareness to children that nobody reported on. Jordan literally had to gather evidence JUST TO BE BELIEVED. The kids have haters and judgers too. I hope you don’t delete a friggen thing because these haters have nothing to do with the loving heart you filmed it with. If you need help reach out. You deserve the support you earned! ~Sheeara, Alaska
Finally found the eyeliner style I was looking for. 🤍🤍🤍
🙌🏼
I love the natural lighting
Love how she gets Straight into it no extra bs
They’re both pretty fly, depending on your mood. Except those little eye boogies that show up later. Slayyyyy
Love the lighting! Please do more of this! Also, crazy how the eyeliner changes the look. I shall try this.. one day...when my puppy is asleep.
I absolutely love when you demonstrate these elemental things about makeup. I learn so much from you!!
when that peachy light went on my heart stopped, perfect aesthetic!
I think you have hands down the most stunning eye colorrrr
Yes love the lighting
The day I watched someone explain to divide your face as if you're drawing a portrait is the day I saw for the first time my facial features as elements and then placing highlights, shadows, liner became so much easier!
Eyeliner is great, like blush... It can change how you look DRAMATICALLY.
Thank you for blessing us with this camera and lighting. Wow wow wow
Thanks for realistic light, you're the best
The lighting looks great! The liner looks great! Everything is great!
Such a gorgeous natural beauty
I have never seen another person with green sunflower eyes. It was crazy watching this video because your eye color is IDENTICAL to mine.
also that shade of blush is really beautiful on you.
You don’t understand how helpful this is. Omg.
I could watch videos about eyeliner all day. I’m so here for this scientific take
Natural light, YAS. Touch of warmth backlight, YAS. Love that it matches your hair, too.
Lighting is perfection! Like your complexion
Your skin is amazing and your voice is clear and you have no word whiskers. I love your succinct videos!!! I actually learn something.
Love love love the natural light 💛💛💛
What an amazing demo! So well explained…
All I can say is THANK YOU for this alternative!
I like this I have never thought to put eyeliner on the inner part of the eye. Thank you for sharing.
Your skin looks amazing in the new lighting.
she is SO GORGEOUSLY GORGEOUS
Wow! I like the lining on your right eye, which gives an optical slant. That’s the one I’m going to try. Thanks for the tip!
That is awesome! The liner on the bottom seems to make your eye larger, too...something I definitely need! Thanks!
Dude.. I appreciate how your vids are always under 10 mins but still bloody informative minus all the ramblings yadayadayada
❣️ Thank you! Doing it tonight. 😁
I also ❤️ natural lighting. 🥰
Thank you so much for sharing easy, quick, small tips, that still make such a big impact!
Love the way you talk! It's so calming and relaxing.
I liked the lighting. I loved both looks on you!!
