I saw so many techniques for hooded eyes, and I think it's worth a mention that a lot depends on if the outer corner of your eye itself is going upward or downward as well as how the hood is placed. For some combinations, there is no eyeliner technique that works... Mila has absolutely beautiful, deep set eyes but in my opinion the "hood" comes from the socket placement and not from "excess" eyelid skin.
True, the fold of my eye hides the lashes entirely, and this is what I mean when I'm talking about the hooded eye. When I saw the thumnail of this video in my recommendations, I thought, "wow, these eyelids are not hooded at all, I would be able to make these lines only after the surgery, but I can bet that this video is called "something for hooded eyes", aaand I wasn't wrong. Lies and fraud again. Reported this video.
@@anastasiagileva8711 Wtf? there are a lot of different hooded eyes. you're full of anger and youre trying to pay it with others :) i'm so sorry for you. the second technique can also be used if the hood passes through the corner, but it's a little harder and requires you to keep looking straight forward, if. your technique sucks what can we do.
yeah i really dont consider what she has to be hooded eyes. shes got much more space to work with than actual hooded eyes. neither of these would work for me
Hooded eyes and deep set eyes are pretty similar. Deep set eyes can become hooded as you age. However, hooded eyes tend to be more severe and these techniques may not be as helpful if the overhang covers majority of the eyelid.
I like technique #1 better. The 2nd looks weird imo. I have very hooded eyes so I’ve never been able to wear winged eye liner because it always looks weird and gets messy. I’m definitely going to try this technique out. I have hope!! Thank you for sharing it.
Love your look especially your brows! I just turned 53 and cannot do winged liner to save my life, no matter how many different ways I do it. Definitely trying these techniques! Thank you 🥰
I love the second technique most. Sadly my hood goes passed where the corner of my eyes are so I haven’t found any trick for winged liner with my eyes lol
The second technique can also be used if the hood passes through the corner, but it's a little harder and requires you to keep looking straight forward.
Mine is the same and i honestly just draw the line straight out and then try to lift it up a little because my eyes are also downturned. but i do the eyeliner all the way from the inner corner, across my eyelid and to the wing too so its a full liner look (like liner 2 in the video). its not perfect and i only do a short line, not a long one.. it does disappear when i smile especially but otherwise it looks fine. You just have to experiment with it and see what works
i'm gonna try the first technique tomorrow! I find that when I do liner over the entire top of my lashline, it closes my eyes off even more. so I really like the first technique. Thank you so much!!!
I just realized I was doing different techniques trying to apply the first one but ending with a small difference on each eye haha, just like you did. I definitely keep the first one, to get a dramatic look it’s just to get the line bolder and longer but same technique 😊❤
Milana, you look beautiful! 😊 I have extremely hooded eyes, my eyelid skin goes over my eye corner, and since I am not skilled in doing make up, I just keep watching make up tutorials and applying only mascara myself 😐
I think I am going to have to combine both techniques 😅 thank you so much for this video! I'm just getting back into makeup again, but I was never able to do eyeliner. I just used to wear a smokey eye every day, which works pretty well for deep-set hooded eyes! But it's a bit too heavy for me right now lol
You are wonderful at what you do. I cannot seem to achieve a wing. On top of very hooded eyes, my lid is Crapey. Skin is bunched up😢 on my lids and where the wing would be formed. Am I out of luck or is there something you can teach me about the severeness of the craziness around my eyes and eyelid and achieve a "kinda like wing"? I'd love to see a video on that. Thank you so much for your time.
Hmm🤔. That is a hard one to answer, as both look great, however, you and I have similar eyes (small and a bit hooded). I'm constantly trying to make my eyes look bigger, therefore, I often don't extend my eyeliner across my whole top lid. That being said, I think the first technique achieves a bigger eye look, however, I'd like to see the second technique, without the extended eyeliner to make a proper judgement. I'm definitely gonna try the first technique the next time I do my eye makeup.
Milana, I was watching your video on your baby shower and your mom is so pretty. All of you girls look like your mom. From watching your videos, I can tell that you and your family are very close and that's so wonderful. God bless you and your family always.
Im 52 & have been doing the technique #2 for years & I have hooded eyes as well but I have always used waterproof liquid eyeliner & I never put that V in the wing. Do u use waterproof liner?? Also #2 looks amazing on u!!
i think you don't have hooded eyes... you have great eyes and i have seen many eyeliner techniques on you that suits you...but i can't do them and other people who really have hooded eyes and struggles :D but thank you for your shown technique, i love your videos
Hers are hooded because we hooded eye ppl cant draw a line straight across without hitting that lump we have. Thats why its hooded, we have a lump above our eyelid. Luckily a lot of people dont have to do her process because they arent hooded. they can just do a wing without an actual process like this
i like the #1 technique . it looks more polished and finished from all angles. # 2 looks good when you are looking straight but if you look down it looks undone. :)
I liked the second technique better. I just think it's better to go up from the outer corner of your eye immediately, instead of going down first. I always did the first technique naturally, because I didn't really know how to do it any other way, and it just made me look like I was a drunk Egyptian. The second technique - or something close to it, as I never go for a really long wing - lifts and elongates my eyes, which is more flattering.
both looks very nice. i try both of them. but the 2nd one i prefer :) i have very hoded eyes and thats the reason i made fake lashes but it´s so expensive. can you tell me the name of the pen you use?
She absolutely has hooded eyes. My eyes are very similar to hers in shape.. You can literally see the lines on her lids when she has her eyes closed that show where the hooded part is sitting on the lid.. as she ages, the hood will get heavier looking but there's no doubt, her eyes are hooded.
I like both techniques however I am one of those girls who has a constant issue with my eyeliner (or maybe mascara? 🤔 I’m not really sure) goopping up in the corner of my eyes. Any suggestions on how to stop that from happening? Since you do that with both of these techniques, I am hesitant to try it.
I prefer number 1 I thought it gave the eye a more open-eye look. Also like u said it doesn't look as if it is complete when looking down. I'm not about that look. I think that's why I don't wear eyeliner been a heavy hooded eye girl it's just never looked right. The only time I have is when I've worn lashes to hide the band. Even then my eyes water for a month lol. Love the content from across the pond 🇬🇧
I think that the first technique (new one) that you did makes more sense when I, the viewer of you, can see your whole eyelid, which is most of the time while we are talking.
#2 looks much better! #1 goes too low, it's weird, it's how I used to do it and I stopped because it was weird (didn't use the same technique though, but the end look was similar). I would just correct the odd part with a q-tip, or put some eyeshadows to blend with.

Fraud? Wow, what a strong Word! Just because you cannot accept that people with less hooded eye than you dare to say they have hooded eye! Impressed…
yeah i really dont consider what she has to be hooded eyes. shes got much more space to work with than actual hooded eyes. neither of these would work for me

i agree these arent exactly typical hooded eyes but "lies and fraud" is an absolutely insane thing to think
Hooded eyes and deep set eyes are pretty similar. Deep set eyes can become hooded as you age. However, hooded eyes tend to be more severe and these techniques may not be as helpful if the overhang covers majority of the eyelid.
As a fellow hooded eye gal I both use and love these 2 techniques daily Thank you Mila for demonstrating these beautiful looks for us ❤️
I always do the bat wing technique, love it
I like technique #1 better. The 2nd looks weird imo. I have very hooded eyes so I’ve never been able to wear winged eye liner because it always looks weird and gets messy. I’m definitely going to try this technique out. I have hope!! Thank you for sharing it.
I agree! Every hooded eye eyeliner technique shows option 2 but I hate the bat wing. I like the first option a lot better
the 2nd is the only one that works for severely hooded eyes though. you get used to it and it looks fine.
#2 really opened up your eye! I will have to try this!
Love your look especially your brows! I just turned 53 and cannot do winged liner to save my life, no matter how many different ways I do it. Definitely trying these techniques! Thank you 🥰
I just turned 50 and I can't see anything, 😂. So hard when your old.
I like both, I will give it a try. I have hooded eyes, and I'm always looking for improvement on my current technique.
2nd technique is much better
I think you have more deep set eyes, not hooded.
But the eyeliner looks bomb regardless!
Thanks for watching and showing love.

I honestly think your left eye, on the right for us, is so much better looking. No comparison to me. Technique #2 winner.
Thanks for watching and showing love.

Your eyes have just the most beautiful color ever!
When you said “OH BOY” the first thing I thought ,was Andre always says that 😂. I like #1. It makes your eye look bigger ❤
I agree. The new technique looks more natural ❤️
Great video it couldn’t have come at a better time! I’m going to Puerto Rico for a wedding and want to really do up my eyes.
I prefer 1! And thank you for showing me how to put eyeliner on my hooded eyes!! You're amazing! -Mia
I just realized I was doing different techniques trying to apply the first one but ending with a small difference on each eye haha, just like you did. I definitely keep the first one, to get a dramatic look it’s just to get the line bolder and longer but same technique 😊❤
I’m so glad you did this video / I like both and totally agree daytime look is first technique
Milana, you look beautiful! 😊 I have extremely hooded eyes, my eyelid skin goes over my eye corner, and since I am not skilled in doing make up, I just keep watching make up tutorials and applying only mascara myself 😐
I think the 2nd technique lifts the eye more. Thanks for the comparison.
Thank you for breaking down both the techniques. BTW, you’ve got stunning eyes ❤😊
That's an incredible difference! Both beautiful ❤
I am quite impressed with your tutorial & how you demonstated it step by step. I can't wait to try it & will report back my results.❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Milabu for sharing both techniques. I love you and Andrew. Huda eyes! 😂
The second technique lifts your eye where the first makes your eye look droopy
This is a very good video! And I've watched soooo many of these for hooded eyes. Thank you beautiful! ❤
I really like the first one because it looks good in all angles
I prefer #2 because #1 pulls the eyes down while the other brings it up.
I noticed that too!😊
Very good tutorial. My hooded eyes are gone with this tutorial. I learnt a better way of applying eye liner now. Thanks so much 🙂❤🙏
FANTASTIC! Technique 2 for me!
#1 for sure. So pretty!!
They both look pretty
First technique amazing!!!
Wow your eyes are crazy beautiful 🤩
I think I am going to have to combine both techniques 😅 thank you so much for this video! I'm just getting back into makeup again, but I was never able to do eyeliner. I just used to wear a smokey eye every day, which works pretty well for deep-set hooded eyes! But it's a bit too heavy for me right now lol
You always have great eye makeup! Beautiful! I try #2 but one eye is easier than the other.
I use a korean style wing, you go downwards on the outer corner and then the wing goes straight horizontally, it works amaziiiing for me ❤❤❤
I like the first technique!
You are wonderful at what you do. I cannot seem to achieve a wing. On top of very hooded eyes, my lid is Crapey. Skin is bunched up😢 on my lids and where the wing would be formed. Both techniques are very interesting. I will try test it. Thanks for the video!

I love this❤ especially eyeliner 2 as you said for everyday use
Both looks great ❤
❤thanks, haven't even thought of technique no. 1 before. it must be tried
Your really good at this
Your eyes are beautiful! Mine kinda looks the same - just brown and with a fold in the inner conor (?)
❤❤❤them both. U did it so well.. I'm glad u did in close up shot. Fantastic!!! You look so beautiful with your flawless skin.
1st one is unique and beautiful.
I like technique #2 I only say this cause it’s new and I will give it a try. Thanks for the tutorial!🥰
Your eyes are beautiful 😍
Im 52 & have been doing the technique #2 for years & I have hooded eyes as well but I have always used
waterproof liquid eyeliner & I never put that V in the wing. Do u use waterproof liner?? Also #2 looks amazing on u!!
Eyeliner 2 appears more lifted, which is generally my goal.
#1 looks better but I like both techniques. You’re awesome ♥️
Its really helpful 😊
i think you don't have hooded eyes... you have great eyes and i have seen many eyeliner techniques on you that suits you...but i can't do them and other people who really have hooded eyes and struggles :D but thank you for your shown technique, i love your videos

I like both
#2 so the eyes dont look like there drooping downward, is my go to

Technique #2, is my favorite
I have very similar look/ eye shape to Milabu( my family are Eastern European) so I will try these, thank you Milana❤😊.
🔥🔥🔥
I like 2 nd, going to try it tmrw😊
both looks very nice. i try both of them. but the 2nd one i prefer :) i have very hoded eyes and thats the reason i made fake lashes but it´s so expensive. can you tell me the name of the pen you use?

I really like the 2nd 👍🏻
Super helpful!
When you tight line, how do you remove the makeup at the end of day pls 🙏🏽
Can we all use swatches glitter shimmer pigment eyeshadows together
You, my lady DO NOT HAVE hooded eyes at all 😊
She really doesn't, lol this video is confusing
Yes she does, just not severe
I thought the same exact thing. My hood actually touches my lower lid, so these techniques don't work at all.

For those with a very heavy hooded eyes, I would suggest you to try the 1st technique with a brown eyeliner 😉
#2, Thanks for sharing!❤️
Me gusta mas el segundo. El primero luce caído..el segundo es el preciso para hooded eyes y parpado caído para pieles maduras.!! Gracias❤
I like the Huda beauty best but I can see certain situations I might want to use the other, depending on the style I'm going for.
Eyeliner twoooooo !!!
Both look lovely but there’s something about 1 that I really prefer! I think I’m in the minority, but I like that it doesn’t look overdrawn.
Two! ❤
I like technique #1. It makes your eyes look a bit fuller and brighter. The line is also cleaner.
Love you eye color ❤
Very Helpful!!!

Eyeliner one definitely
Wow thank you, i can use eye-liner 😊
Huda eyeliner for hooded eyes 😂. L
I prefer the first one. Thank you🎉
