Just love everything about this journey of yours...you put so much effort into everything you do ...your videos are funny informative and I would imagine very helpful to the people who are contemplating doing the Cape wrath ..looking forward to next vid xx
59 year old bloke here. I've been thinking back at what point in my life would I have completed this walk. In my teens I was probably under nourished, early twenties drank way too much, mid thirties to mid forties I put a bit of weight on (about thirty pounds) hey I like food. For quite a few years now my knees give me gip descending hills. So from about twenty five to thirty five I may have been fit enough. Then add the midges and I'm out day one. They would drive me insane. Seen all your videos though Sarah and they probably didn't need to drive you very far (just saying you're a bit of a nutter anyway) Midges love me more than my dog does and he's called midge. Another really good watch, Wales should be proud.
Love and respect to you Sarah, You're a human, who never takes herself too seriously, but the jokes and cheerfulness hide a steely determination to succeed. PS, I don`t know how you managed it with those boots, They nearly crippled me. I had to send them back for a refund.
Gonna watch this series all the way through in one sitting when its finished. just before I go on a hike of my own. or when at a loose end. the girl just cheers me no end. 👍
I love the madness that comes with hiking solo, having a conversation with individual body parts, answering your own questions, often with other questions, realising that you are just waffling a bunch of nonsense purely to hear another human voice. If you know, then you know. I know. You are an excellent example for all of this. Keep up the awesome job. Love your stuff. #GoingABitNuts
WOW: the scenery. And then there's you: so much fun, so irreverent, so brave, so adventurous. Totally love this series and look forward to more. PS: nice videography .
Thanks to you tube for suggesting your channel to me. So good to see a fellow female hiker going on a proper adventure!! So good infact I've just binged all three parts 🤣 love this
😁 Excellant in everyway Sarah.. Can't wait for part 4 as that looks just as much fun with all the shananigans and buety of a thru hike 👍😁 Tottally epic journey.. 🏴🥾⛰️🏕️⛰️
I've finally caught up with all 3 episodes of your Cape Wrath Trail walk and they've been fantastic. I haven't laughed so much at a UA-cam video as I have tonight at this 3rd episode. 'See you in court hip' and 'Grenade.......murder' had me howling. I can't decide whether you're off your rocker or a true comedy genius. 😂🤣 Please keep these videos coming as they're so funny and entertaining. x
Just sat down for tea and some essential Sunday evening viewing, 5 mins in and my mind is filled with an image of crazy mick squeezing one out in his tent 😂. Excellent video yet again and some fantastic scenery. Time to get the tent out methinks.
Yes Sarah been waiting for this I put you on my new large TV absolutely stunning 😍 scenery was nice too, enjoying this adventure with you, shine on you crazy diamond 💎
It’s Monday, Ive just finished a 7 day working week including a 3 day, 2 night residential, delivering youth work and outdoor education in the Lake District. Today I’ve napped and I’m now sitting with a cuppa, chilling and watching part 3 of the cape wrath trail. A good way to unwind from a busy week
You are amazing Sarah. Even when you are down you are up. I don't know how you do it but you do. Thanks for all the walking past the camera shots and all the other brilliantness that is you xx keep em coming 👍👍
Absolutely fantastic, what scenery and so wild, great idea about the water slide! You are so amazingly enthusiastic and upbringing, thankyou Sarah.....love the music too, well chosen.keep going and stay safe mate.chris
Great spirit. Definitely understand it when you are around all that beautiful countryside- it can be really overwhelming. It’s very emotionally fulfilling
Well it's a year gone by and I completed the CWT thanks to your inspiration. Returning this year and the 450 contour this time. Thanks for the heads up.
It had to be you! Thank you so much for taking the hard route up to the Triple Buttress. My favourite spot on the CWT, although the visibility was better when I was there, hence it lade an impression on me. All / most walkers lately have taken the easier way, leaving me frustrated. Until you got there! Had to be you. Thanks again for your vids and the effort you put on them.
Good video and CWT hike. These videos are really good with great information. Love your sense of humour 😂👍. Really enjoyed watching and subbed you. Atb Steve 👍
Thank you for the Scottish landscaping. You sure not a comedian you make the adventures fun. I wish I could pay you to guide me on one of your adventures. Your sooooo much 🤩. Love the military joke. Like I said I could never make it there but your presence makes it more beautiful to view. I’m glad I found your channel. Keep ‘em coming. A faithful subscriber. SEMPER FI
Thanks so much for sharing this. The scenery is insane! Shame about them midges though! But to do what you've done must give you a life changing outlook on life. Highs, lows, challenges and rewards. Just brilliant. Big respect.
sarah your just fantastic to watch that area looks so beautiful , which is the most beautiful mountains of our home or cape wrath......... cant wait for the next video top lady
You know, even if you took the easy path at every decision point, it would never be actually easy, its the CWT! The fact you can still find the energy to do funny walks and things this far in, girl you are my herp.
Really enjoying your madness/waffle - and the views :) Maybe half a dozen episodes in now, glad I found the channel. Hope you have some top adventures lined up for 2023. Cheers @campervibe for the recommendation.
That was brilliant, filming, music and craic !!! Walking to Shenavall brings back memories from 30 years ago on my first trip to NW Highlands, cheered me up as I've just lost my job, maybe I'll have time to do longer back packing trips this year. Fantastic to see some one go round the back of Ruadh-stac, good effort ! Can't wait for the next episode!
Oh I forgot to mention, the names along the river are the names of the different pools where you fish for salmon. River should have been full of salmon when you passed but these days they are becoming rare. I actually live 20 miles south of the Strathcarron Hotel.
Your incredible and very inspirational, bogtastic way getting out of the bog 🤩 great tip on the boot and laces, yayyyyyy to adventure xx well done you, you videos and brilliant and hilarious 🤩🏔🤩🏔
Absolutely brilliant. Best so far from the Cape Wraith Trail. I cycled virtually the same route in 2006 on route to Orkney (not off road though) and remember so well the stunning scenery. I always go in September though. Avoiding the midges ( mostly).🙏 thank you Sarah
Amazing video Sarah the effort you put in to achieve such a good standard of video and on a long trek, I take my hat of to you 👏 they are such a joy to watch. 👌
