The adventures with mom continue and as per usual, life on a boat never goes as planned. We wanted to show Mary the deeper side of Mo‘orea but ran into some issues with our air compressor. So, in lieu of sinking down and exploring the watery depths of this volcanic island, we head up and into the visually intoxicating belly of the crater.
Prehistoric views, lumbering trees, Jurassic sized flora and fields of pineapples ahead. Oh, and plenty of bugs too, so you may want to bring your lemongrass oil along.

Home is in the middle of the corn fields of Southern Illinois, this morning ice everywhere, can't even walk out the back door because of the ice storm last night. My joy is knowing Nikki and Jason will take me to sailors heaven and share their journey. Thank you.

There used to be quite a few pineapple farms around Maroochydore which is a town in the Glasshouse Mountains of Queensland.
Your videos are helping my kids and I escape to beautiful destinations during this boring, scary time of quarantines and social distancing. My 5 year old daughter loves singing the opening song and always says "smoochy smoochy" when you two kiss during it 😂 I just bought a travel trailer beginning of the year and had been planning our cross-Canada trip for 2 years. We're still going to move into it full time at some point when all this craziness is over. Thank you for inspiring me to live my travel dreams and giving us beautiful content to dream and escape to ♡
The drone shot emerging through the trees over that incredible landscape has got to be some of your best drone work. Thanks for "fan mom" keeping the skeeters away for you to get those shots. Also like the shot of the reality that is working while you play

Truly, that was great cinematography...and to have an epic postcard at the end! I have so got to get one of those, but one that is waterproof/floats.
The incredible scenery just doesn't stop! It's "just the tip!" The mountains, the ocean, the farms...just breathtaking! It took me almost 45 minutes to watch 18 minutes!

Nikki you are so blessed to have a mother in law that you can be friends with! I've had 2 in my life time and they both dispised me before they ever met me. I never had a much of a relationship at all with either of them so I can tell you, be truly thankful for Mary! She does seem like a very cool MIL❣️ I really enjoyed seeing all of the food being grown there also. I would love exploring that corner of our world.

Oh, so many memories of Cook’s Bay and the hike you did. Thirty years ago I had to wait up on the top for almost an hour for someone else to come up so they could take my picture. There weren’t as many pineapple farms then, more taro plots. The trail wasn’t marked so well either. Thanks for the video and trip down memory lane. Safe travels.

For those planning on going to Moorea there's a great vanilla plantation up near that lookout point you should check out. Moorea has a LOT of farms. One of the first things that caught my eye were the terraced farms covering the slopes of the mountains.

Hello Jason and nikki I dont know if I will get a answer but you have many interesting adventures but my favorite are the ones where you are in Dallas and Hart maybe I've missed something but there's no mention of Rachel or your mom or any personal things pertaining to family would love to hear about those things but if you can't I totally get it may the Lord bless and keep you both

Nikki: I think you’d enjoy reading this book: An Embarassment Of Mangoes: A Caribbean Interlude (by Ann Vanderhoof). She had no sailing experience when she and her hubby set sail from Canada to spend 2 years sailing down the Atlantic Ocean through The Caibbean Islands to Trinidad. She loves to cook and met with locals on each island to learn their recipes. It’s a sailing adventure plus a taste of culture and cuisine.
Loved it so much! Awesome to see Jason's mum enjoying her trip with you.
