The US Navy gave me an opportunity to sail up and down the Amalfi coast several times during 1962 and 1963. I was able to take a bus tour with all of the starts and stops South from Naples. It was an experience with the huge traffic jams. Arriving was great, the getting there was a pain. The view from the sea is outstanding and the view from the road is an education. This view from the air adds a lot more dimension. There are a lot of things that are hidden from the sea and the road that add to the understanding of the area. Thanks
there’s something so mystical about great mountains like these. you think that only gods could live there. but then you see a house here and there, and you realize that there are special people who have conquered the mountain. and then you see more and more houses until there’s a whole village up the side of the mountain! i guess we can overcome any obstacle if we put our minds to it. just a passing thought...
My wife and I were in Amalfi for a full week last September. Stayed in a local house, beautiful area and beautiful people.

Enjoying a coffee here and reading comments. :) I've just been staying at the house and going into work once or twice a week just to get out. Things are fine but I am definitely ready to get back to my normal routine. I might go for a drive today...see what I can see.

Why bother to use such relaxing music, when your beautiful footage is crashed in on by 3 or 4 (loud, obnoxious) ADS? Do you really have so little control over your videos? They didn’t used to spoil them with such gauche invasions! Can you not put them at the beginning of the video?
Please forgive my obvious frustration, as it’s now a widespread problem with UA-cam: The constant, inescapable bombardment of all “free” content with ADS-none of which I’d ever pay attention to...WHY must every damn thing in this country be ruined by GREED?!
Nan...nothing about my channel is motivated by greed. I spent thousands of dollars this summer just to travel around and film walks to post up on here and share with people...why..because I enjoy doing it. The ads help me continue to make content for you. I made virtually nothing for the first year of my channel and I posted up 45 videos. I put a ton of work in to this channel and all you have to do is wait 2 seconds to click off an ad. I hate ads too...but I understand why they are there. You can subscribe to UA-cam Red and watch videos without ads if you want. But until I can get paid by some other revenue source...the ads are here to stay. I'm not making a ton of money...basically just enough to cover my travel.
Prowalk Tours: Calm down! I never said YOU were greedy. I DID ask why you couldn’t put the ads at the beginning, so they weren’t CONSTANTLY interrupting a video made with music-to-get-massaged-by. I DID ask whether you have ANY control over your own work on UA-cam. Maybe what I should have asked was: Do you CARE about the experience your viewers are having? And don’t give me that jive about the ads only taking “2 seconds”! There are too many, spaced throughout, and the result is anything but relaxing. You either care or you don’t!
I mean no disrespect, but your financial struggles are not my problem. No one forced you to decide that UA-cam was the way to support your family. How realistic is that? Nor am I able-or on principle, willing-to pay for content on UA-cam. You really don’t seem to get it, judging from your extreme defensiveness, and refusal to answer direct questions.
@@nanwilder2853 it's not greedy to want to earn one's keep. Few people can take the time to work on such content without some income source. I think prowalk is an excellent service and I do not mind the adds one bit. If it supports him and I just have to watch it, why worry! I get the general frustration with adds, generally but do not think Prowalk should be told to "calm down" and I think his response was respectful and calm. Yes, I may be commenting on this two years on, but I invite you to delete your comment.
