- Victory Racing SE is a PC racer developed by VR Games Studios as a homage to Daytona USA. The game began life in 2003 as Victory Road, before being overhauled and rechristened in 2011.

In The Classic 1994 Say Please choose manual or automatic transmission
to be fair, you do also choose the car you drive when selecting between automatic and manual. the manual car gives you more top speed (and yellow liveries instead of blue) :p

Daytona: Over the Road Racing
I refuse to believe the fact that it's official.
I forgot just how "enthusiastic" the announcer was in this version lolz!!! It's been that long! Taytona is great but I'm still very loyal to Victory Road (maybe because it was the very first Daytona clone of it's type!!?). The outdated physics, the music and the announcer is what makes it charming to me like the announcer just didn't give a stuff lolz!!? Imagine if their was a merge between both Victory Road and Taytona?!!! That would be very cool but both versions can co-exist side by side! Taytona for it's striving to be the best and Victory Road for it's pseudo sarcastic charm!!

Yeah, the dev team behind Burning Road were French. Victory Racing's dev is from England. Not sure why it sounds like he's not a native speaker, heh.

What the hell did I just watch? The Saturn versions are more playable than this! Did anyone catch the V.R. "Get Goal" SFX at the end of races? Its like you took bread from different places, ducktape 'em together and boom: rotten weird bread piece. But at least the guy tried :P

This is the craziest city track I've ever seen. A bunch of dice & slot machine billboards are everywhere for some reason, while iceberg things and sand building coexist in the same place, along with Space Invaders icon (?) and spacecraft launch vehicle (???). Is this based on someone's fever dream?
Well, Three Seven Speedway's theme was gambling as well. I think the sand sculpture is supposed to be a sphinx, but I'm not sure. The Space Invaders icons are there because the guy who designed this made a free Space Invaders clone for Windows Phone called "Space Invader 7." The themes are a bit jumbled, particularly in the second track, but they're not really all that unusual for a Daytona game. I'd argue some of things in Daytona 2 are way more excessive than anything you see in Victory Racing.
Yeah, come to think of it, some of them do feel like Daytona USA, only except it's unpolished. I stand corrected.
Where're you finding these stuffs? I love discovering small, obscure fan projects.
Some of it just comes from actively searching for it. People have written about some of these games on smaller gaming website and forums. Sometimes fansites host fangame submissions. Looking for clones on the Google Play store led me to find Taytona. And sometimes, like with Victory Racing, a viewer tips me off. I would never have found this game without his help.

What the hell even is this? I heard this was a re(de)make of sorts without the the Daytona references, but this looks like something created in someone's first year of game development. These tracks are angular for some reason, the car is far too big for said tracks, and what even is this announcer? I sure am glad that nobody remembers this.
If this had been released by an actual game studio, I'd agree with you. But this was made by a single hobbyist developer who really liked Daytona USA and wanted to make a fan game at a time when the Daytona series hadn't seen much love from Sega for quite a while. Yeah, it pales in comparison to Daytona, but it's reasonably competent. The cars handle okay, the tracks are narrow but navigable, and all the races are winnable with practice. Will I ever go back to it? Probably not. But it kept me entertained for several hours, and I can appreciate it for what it is.
