WHY TRAVEL THIS WAY? VAN LIFE in EUROPE... exploring the south of France.
This week we are still travelling in our self converted DIY campervan in the south of France, and our van life in Europe so far is not disappointing!
We slow the pace right down as we head towards the Verdon Gorge, finding some pretty awesome spots to explore along the way. We take a hike in the beautiful French national park, Prealps d'azur and have a great time exploring Castellane.
Travelling across Europe in 2021 was certainly going to pose a few challenges, and this week I struggle with a little one of my own, but, setting that aside we are so glad we decided to start this van life journey this year as we are starting to get back in the swing of it now!
Hopefully that is coming across in this European travel series and that we have managed to show some of the stunning landscapes that France has to offer in this French travel vlog.
As usual, we have tried to include a bit of everything, some cinematic scenery mixed with our usual female vanlife foolery, we always love hearing what you lot think in the comments so do let us know, and as always, thank you for watching!

You will never know how much your vlogs have helped me, I lost my Mum a few weeks ago, the laughs and distraction have been a lifesaver, I have the intention of finally taking out our 30 odd year old Toyota campervan within the next couple of weeks. Just waiting on the clearance from the Neurologist after a cycling accident last year that left me with a brain injury. I went skiing at Les Deux Aples a few years ago, only a couple of hours away from you. GORGEOUS around there. Standing on top of a glacier looking at the mountain peaks as far as the eye can see 😑 peaceful doesn’t quite cut it.

We drove along that road 2019 and saw a massive grey wolf straight out of a brothers grimm fairytale cross the road right in front of us. No wonder they have dogs protecting their sheep. Lovely part of the world.
