Lisa I use the Milani glowing primer for the specific purpose of thinning out and to add a bit of glow to matte, long wearing foundations like EL DW. It really does work! xx

I would love to go back to the 80s and put on foundation and then compare it to the foundations of the drugstore today. I feel like foundation has come such a long way in the drugstore and most of them are very high quality compared to what we used to wear.

Mr Haney 😂 It seems like ELF keeps the white packaging for their most affordable products, like the brushes with the white handles. That eyebrow pencil is a good one. It has such a nice texture.

I love that you mentioned that old mascara! I thought before you brought out the new one… they don’t make her favorite anymore!!! I think drugstore makeup is fun! I personally can’t afford all these high end things are using. When somone asks what I use and I say things like Elf and affordable they truly do not believe me!

This is been so helpful and thank you for listing all these favorites. I’ve been out of buying make up for a couple of years, really, since the pandemic. I’m just now getting back into it. I took notes and will compare with my supplies because I think I have a couple already that you listed. Anyways now I’m onto your hair section - which I’m really looking forward to. Again, because of the pandemic my hair has grown out. I started growing it out about a year before the pandemic so it really has gotten longer and I’m eager to see what your favorite products are and your thoughts on hair care.

Dear Lisa. I suggest you the high definition wet and wild foundation in amber beige. The other one could be LA girl foundation for dry skin. If you want some light coverage please taste LA girl BB cream in neutral color. Sorry for my English I'm from Argentina. I like Milani foundation but sometimes this foundation emphasize my wrinkles

I just adore those Lifter glosses! My fav is the gold one. My skin tone works best with the peachy-er pinks and it's just fantastic over those nudy nudes. :) LOL you look at Shining peach like I do my very last lipbutter backup (that has been discontinued for a while) in creme brulee by Revlon. It is just the perfect shade for me and nothing is exactly the same.

What color was the Wet n Wild lipstick?
You never steer me wrong! I have the Revlon shadow quad in That's a Dub and I can't seem to get it to work for me though! Do you use primer underneath every time? Do you wet the shadows? I love the tones and texture when swatched but they look kind of powdery on me and all run together.

I have so many of those it isn't even funny. I never luck out with the Physician's formula. They just don't do it for me. Maybe you are right in using the wrong color. I did have to order one of the Shining Peach. It is beautiful. I also love those Slip silk hair ties. My hair loves them too. LOL Oh a Lisa quote for the day to make me laugh to myself is "it is like putting it on with a stick." Perfect description of some products, not just drugstore. Not a fan of the new L’Oreal telescopic mascara…the original is so much better, this newer version flaked and smeared a bit..not a fan..I like the new Milani tubing mascara..it’s a bit wet (maybe better after it dries out a bit)…I find that after that mascara sets and dries, then curl your lashes, and it stays fresh all day long., no flakes or fall out and removes very easily.
