If we're honest, it could have and should have been way worse. So maybe just don't say that and accept that we were lucky to not have lost by more, and will work to fix the mistakes that led to that.

You could see the players were thinking through the new system as opposed to reacting! Example: When pressing the second man in picks up the passing lane. In many of those moments after about the 25 minute mark they were a step behind. It's also hard to have your first game against a top 10!

Needs faster reaction time for defending not watching the moment play out, fitness needs to improve, endurance is key in football, to sum up the match, its a work in progress and improvements are needed, more rotation and quicker reaction time etc...
Marsch makes some fair points. The group have been together for just a few days. They were playing the 6th ranked team in the world. I think this team will improve with Marsch The issue was that they didn’t respond well to adversity. When they gave up that first goal it was like they gave up. I did like that they had a few solid opportunities to score but Larin and David are not world class.
