Nothing wrong with proving yourself at Lille for a few more months and then finally getting that big move, it'll all be worth it. Would be a pretty solid birthday gift.
@JoelER78 if he sticks to defending, he is good. At the CND team, he has this ego and feels he needs to go up...which is a threat vs good teams. Sure, put him as a winger or forward vs Curacao or Belize...
@@JoelER78yet he plays LB for Bayern last year and won a UCL with them. He can defend but for Canada he is best used as an attacker with his pace and goal scoring ability. This all depends on if Adekube is the starting LB.
I prefer him on full offence. He will "backcheck" and help out defensively, but he is a better offensive player than defensive. He's thrilling to watch on attack.
Lille just qualified for Champions League group stage, so, for David it is not a bad move not to move 😉
