I have the problem, that all settings are lost, when i launch Bitwig 3.0.3. (Flexi 7.60) on Win 10 PC. S. b. told me at KVR, that i have to save the setting within flexi? I don't see a Save Button, only Im-/Export. Trying to export i get a Error writing file: New (Access denied). What am i doing wrong?

After a few years, which one did you end up using more? X or Mini? I'm drawn to a device that doesn't take up a lot of space, but I wonder if I would miss velocity and the auto mapping features.
@@jeffreyjbyron The Pro has the advantage that it has more buttons which means much less using the Shift button. Especially, Play, track selectionare very helpful.
and how about showing us it in a useful mode such as SESSION in bitwig ? .. does it behave at all the same way as the implementation for OLD launchpad worked?
@@mossgraber I'm not a my computer right now but I was making a beat with the drum container on the Launchpad X with the 16 pads on the lower left for drum sounds. When I tried to change some steps in the step sequencer the script crash and I can't remember the exact error but it was something about using API 7 instead of 10 or something similar. When I'll get to my music computer I'll get a screenshot.
My LP mini MK3's Session button doesn't work in Bitwig. but it's work with Ableton Live very well. Do I must to use lastest version??(I'm using Bitwig 2.4.3). Any who same problem like me???
The auto recognition is based on pattern matching and the names on Linux are a bit random and also depending on your distribution. Therefore, simply add it manually. This is explained in the manual as well.
hi jurgen, when in ableton i can access the aftertouch config, among others, via holding down SESSION for a couple of secs, to check out it is ON. Is it possible to do that in Bitwig with your script? thanks.
@@mossgraber hello!! ok ok, you mean accessing SETTINGS before opening the DAW I presume, because when in Bitwig you can not access the SETTINGS in the way the USER GUIDE describes it, many thanks.

@@mjaa1307 Ah, sorry, I just saw Ableton and thought you were talking about the Push. The Launchpad X has also a setting to convert Poly Aftertouch (last setting in the list). But to make this work you need to enable Poly Aftertouch in the hardware settings of the device. First make sure that you did install the latest Firmware with the Novation Components App! Then see the manual of the Launchpad X how to enter the hardware settings page and change aftertouch. You can choose between Off, Channel and Poly. Select Poly Aftertouch.
Super cool of you to make and share this Moss! Just wondering if your LPX has uniform white leds? Mine seem veryy different shades and hues. Distractingly so. Here's a photo: i.imgur.com/Fj58t6d.jpg I noticed that Ableton Live uses blue instead of white and even the Novation editor prevents you from selecting pure white in the colour list so maybe they know it's an issue. Should I think about returning my unit? Or is there a possibility of changing the default white within the script preferences in a future release? I got it! One question is left: what is meant in the row Modes: "Item" and "Item Page" and Modes: Select Send 1 Mode?
I've problem with LPmk3mini, when I'm choosing other mode using "drum" pad, it's work with big delay...

If I had to choose a Launchpad I would suggest to the Pro Mk3 :-)

I am on bitiwg/linux and I am thinking about a launchpad. Is the pro mk3 is supported or only the launchpad X ?

What errors do you get? Works fine here in 3.1 Beta 1 (on Windows 10).

The Launchkey Mini Mk3 is supported since DrivenByMoss 8.51, which requires Bitwig 3.1.

I am not sure. There are no restrictions from DrivenByMoss but you can have problems from the OS or your USB. I guess you have to try.

The Hardware user modes cannot be used with this.

The auto recognition is based on pattern matching and the names on Linux are a bit random and also depending on your distribution. Therefore, simply add it manually. This is explained in the manual as well.

You need to install DrivenByMoss (see the comment for the link). There is also an instensive manual included with detailed installation steps.

Aftertouch can be configured in the settings.

Only 2 sends allow right ???
No, you can access 8 sends. In Sends mode select the Sends 1-8 with Scene buttons. But first you need to create more Send tracks.

I cant get shift+ session to work. Actually any of the top buttons + shift dont work. Like shift + note. Any ideas why?
Check if you have installed the latest Firmware with the Novation Components App.
