Looking for new gold prospecting sites can be a time consuming process. But if you use aerial imagery (photographs collected via aeroplanes) you can quickly cover 1000's of km of prospecting gold prospecting country in a just an hour or so.
This techniques will show you how to finds long lost forgotten gold mines, that don't show up on any geological maps, that you can target for your next gold detecting adventure.
Cheers mate great to get a insight into geoview and what it all adds up to keep em coming please
More to come soon!

No probs. Hope it helps!
Thankyou very helpful
Thanks mate!
Thanks, really great stuff. what I have also done is when I stumbled across old workings I have gone back and looked at aerial view to see what they look like and if there are any others close by
Love the content! Just did this exercise on my lease and think I have found a few old working. I’m sure you’re a very busy man but if you have a spare minute I’d love to send you a screen shot and see what your opinion is on good areas to start working.
Send through the screenshot. I'd love to have a look!
Legend!
Thanks mate!
Thanks for that info. I generally do this based on the Pending I'm searching. It's great finding these old workings that aren't documented, because hopefully not too many others will have bothered.
It's also good to see tracks if any nearby so you have an idea of pathways in.
Glad it was helpful!
Hey thank you for this great introductory video! So glad I discovered your channel - although it's really my wife that is keen to go prospecting, I just enjoy the camping - but I now think I'll be joining her, and we might need a better metal detector than the one we got from BCF! Let the adventure begin!
Great to hear! A metal detector designed for the job will really make the difference! Depending on where you are in Oz, BCF might not have a good enough detector. Try visiting one of the more reputable detector shops near you and ask for advice. Also check out what others are using on FaceBook, UA-cam etc!
