I saw a miner that bought yard cart for $20 at a yard sale and put off road tires on it then raised the sides. He could carry all of his gear in it and it was perfect for trails and beach. It might help schlep those huge buckets of rocks for the misses. May your pans be heavy Jason!

The Old Spice bottle reminded me of my Granddad. The poor guy got Old Spice from every family member for Christmas. He had the equivalent of pallets of the stuff in his bedroom. (You'd think we could've been more creative, when shopping for him.) He never complained, though. I miss the old man.

Beach beach beach beach Woo! That was a packed episode! 30 foot waves. Wow. Cool and scary. I got 8 inches of snow yesterday for the first time. Really enjoying all the rock content! The light green and pinky ones look like unakite (pink feldspar and green epidote) and the black one with the red veins and white stripe might be magnetite with ironstone. Try and stick a neodymium magnet to it. I think the fossil is a coral. 0.68 for that little run WOW. Nicely done.
The magnetic doesn’t stick but it’s still a great piece!!!! Your mailbox may have a little something in it soon….😎

During that recent terrible storm, a certified meteorologist took a magnificent photo of storm waves crashing against the Duluth lighthouse. I'd love to buy that picture. Ohh, my late husband used Old Spice which kind of got me going a bit.... Anyway, you and Rigby had an awesome day on the beach and got some magnificent gold! There is _nothing_ like a raging great storm to reveal the prize of gold!! Your beach has a lot of downed trees. Must have been a monster storm, with the 30 footers running. Old spice after shave bottle. The beach banker is really getting it done. Very nice color in that spot. Thanks for sharing your adventure.😎😎⛏⛏🔥🔥

After snacking , Rigby seemed to have gotten his paw in front of the camera 🤣 ,,,, Nice gold that day ! I made it up on a local (NH) river yesterday . Put a pretty decent smile in the pan for just panning ! Brought home a 5 gal pail of classified material for the long winter ahead !! 💨 Cheers brother 🍻....

Current price $1657.60 gold. $53.29/gram x 0.68 = $36.24 for ~3 hours of hobby work (~$12+). Subtracting the insane cost of gas and other maintenance costs/insurance + driving hours to get up to shore and back - offset with letting the wife have some peace from the husband - and vice versa + physical and metal/emotional peace (destressing) + sunlight, exercise, and fresh air for man and dog ... untold priceless-ness !

30 footers are huge. I remember years ago, out trolling with my dad on ontario. The waves were 15 to 20 feet. Huge walls of water. We would ride up on topof a wave, where you could see shore and everything. Then back down the wave, where all you could see is a wall of water on each side of the boat. Our lines were right through the wall of water. Quite an experience 👍

The old sailers call the big waves “The Chop” My great grandfather was a steamboat captain on the Great Lakes ….. I heard stories about the only time he ever was afraid was getting caught in the chop !!
