    Beauty of listening to many podcasts is seeing the differences in testosterone treatment. I would invite you to have Dr. Keith Nichols and or Dr. Rob Kominarek as guests.

    DHT binds to the androgen receptors with a 2-fold higher affinity and a decreased dissociation rate of 5-fold compared to testosterone. If someone already has low testosterone, they then also shut down DHT, this could create the perfect storm for the worst androgen deficiency symptoms and be the result of the life ending outcomes in his study. If someone was on TRT, many of the mood boosting effects are still there despite DHT reduction.

    66yo, run 6k/day, crossfit, no ED, take TRT to keep T around 1000, high T def puts desire/libido into overdrive. without TRT, my T level around 350, no issues but didn’t feel 30 again.
    100% on the money re women and sex … wife gets a 15 min back rub before ….. like most marriage things i don’t understand them but i do them anyway…

    My doc said he’s not using hCG anymore but using gonadorelin

    • @MUST-TRT
      @MUST-TRT 7 місяців тому

      Don’t do it! Practitioners using GnRH analogues…they’re clueless - gonadorelin (synthetic GnRH) is used for chemical castration in sex offenders. GnRH bolus doses can permanently shut off the HPTA loop - the communication between the brain and balls by damaging the hormonal feedback loops(yes plural). You’ll get a big surge of LH from the first or second dose of GnRH…then your circuits will be fried.
      TRT is for deficiency - so the circuits are fried anyway - through primary or secondary hypgonadism - thereby causing you to be deficient anyway. However - GnRH will ruin your mental state, your sex drive, and will not sustain the LEYDIG cells of the testis(the only cell that synthesizes T) producing T the way hCG does.
      Find a different doc to manage your regimen or learn to be resourceful online and find your own hCG. Did I say that? Don’t do that…it’s ILLEGAL. Find another practitioner that uses more diversified insurance providers and you should be able to get hCG again. It’s not impossible - fertility docs/specialists - have a ready supply because hCG is a staple for foundational fertility corrective measures in men and women. So docs that say they can’t get hCG…either are not in the know…or they literally don’t care about what GnRH analogues can and will do to a man. Worse come to worse - if you don’t have a fertility need , you don’t NEED hCG (although it is often more optimal when correctly dosed in frequency and included in the regimen).
      Dismiss me if you will…GnRH analogues like gonadorelin and drugs which mimick LH themselves ARE NOT THE SAME THING. Not by a mile. Punch in “chemical castration + sex offenders” in the search box in pubmed. See what you find. Gonadorelin very popular as are its chemical analogues.😮
      Good luck and God bless.

    Diet, exercise, sleep, and stress reduction. Those are his four pillars. You interviewed another centralized doctor that is leaving out the physics. You guys talking off a lot about hormones on this podcast and all the doctors know that the pituitary gland pretty much runs all the hormones, the question is what makes the pituitary gland go? If you can answer that question, then food and exercise will become far less interesting to discuss

    Any provider who prescribes men a chemotherapy agent in the form of an estrogen blocker… in my opinion loses all credibility. My spouse was severely injured by use of estrogen blockers. Men can use progesterone to combat estrogen dominance without it harming them. 1mg is still a high dose.
