His guitar is So In Tune, and he plays So Surely, and he delivers each sung line So Thoroughly And Plainly. and he So Occupies Each Measure.. I forgot to look at the pictures. What a lesson in performance. Pisses me off.
dear Mr Paxton.....I had the rare gift of meeting you and talking on a few occasions with my dear friend Frank Christian, whose playing you respected....Like you....I miss my friends tonight....I hope you are well
@OffspringFTW65 before you make dopey comments do your homework.....that is Eric Bibb a wonderful musician who oozes talent .....probably because unlike you he doesn't spend all day watching youtube and making comments he knows nothing about
One thing you need to train a little harder on is how to tell a joke. It didn't come off as a joke. It came off as disrespectful to folk in that group that stood on the front lines of the Civil Rights movement (including Mr. Paxton) and your explosion about how superior you were didn't help you look better - quite the contrary. Every new generation mistakes hormones for passion. We did and so will you. Give it some time Offspring. You're still a very little fellow in a wide world after all.
@@arthurgorton6428 I was responding to a now deleted and badly told joke. It was a totally unnecessary and tasteless put down of Mr. Paxton and company. The guy was mainly interested in letting us know how superior his music is to ours. I responded because I like the homemade music sound of folk singers. It's like the difference between Mom and Grandma's home cooking and processed, freeze-dried microwaved unidentifiable baked in plastic stuff that passes as "food" these days. It kind of set me off. The poster subsequently removed his post. I appreciate that. We all sometimes shoot our mouths off and regret it later.
Thanks for that. Been following Tom Paxton for over 50 years now, seen him live perhaps a dozen times in the UK. His songs are magic, as is his music and singing.
There ain't none better, been one of my favorites for 60 years or so....
Two of the greatest troubadours in history----Tom Paxton & Liam Clancy---they just don't come any better!!!!
....I miss my friends tonight! Good stuff.

I love you Tom Paxton ! :) x

Eric Bibb is the lone black man sitting in the background, an excellent singer/song writer too.
Pax & Liam.......say no more !
I miss your friends also, Tom. We could use a few more people on the left to have a consistent peace message.
@ OffspringFTW65....... That's Keb Mo, and yeah, it means something!
@OffspringFTW65 Looks to me like he's one of the musicians. I don't see any hidden agenda.

Actually, he's wrong -- eventually, the Lion's Head did install a jukebox.
