This is finally the video where I like a lot of the looks. If I had the means and body frame to wear these looks I would wear the heck out of a bunch of these even some of the ones you didn’t like. And there weren’t many I didn’t like! Which is rare.
I do not care for many of the designer creations. I do not want my clothes to be see thru or look like they are falling off or look uncomfortably restrictive. I want beautiful clothes with beading, sequins, elaborate embroidery, colorful, great fabrics, well made. Where are those clothes? Why don't I see more of those clothes?
The belt for Jisoo's Dior dress is a definite nod to a midevil sword belt or a kilt belt. The tip off is the knot the belt is tied in at the side of the waist. Very appropriate for a "chain mail" dress.
Casper the mattress company came out with a comforter jacket that is gorgeous. Just think it’s funny that that was mentioned for Kylie’s outfit, definitely gave me that vibe as well

At first glance the surrounding fabric worked like visual distraction for me but then I noticed that face pattern. It looks like some sort of mythological beast suddenly emerging out of fog. I think this dress plays around with attention of the onlooker quite nicely.
Kylie’s face mask seems like a last minute addition. She can’t control which pictures get published at events like this. Last year people noticed how different she looks in real life compared to how she looks in her usual heavily filtered pictures. Looks like they added a real life filter to this look. It would have been a good retort to the criticism if it had been done in a better way.
Let’s see: July in Paris - yet an abundance of blacks, browns, greys, tweeds, leathers, fur-like materials, boots, heavy gloves, layers, jackets, and coats. Really? But then, some super dark sunglasses even when not in direct sunlight. It mostly seemed artificial and a bit ridiculous.

Not everyone has the same ideas about fashion and haute couture. But Viktor and Rolf might also be something for people who value extravagance. For some people, the craftsmanship and the further development of fashion, the correspondence with people's current lives, are not that important. Then you find this fashion boring. I find the collections mentioned excellent, innovative and of course anything but boring.
