Ι hate that they had to split a basic things as movies (and popcorn machine) into different DLC. I'd be less horrendous (my opinion) if it included Cinemas, some cinema NPCs, buy popcorn and candies and fizzy drinks, buy the tickets, go out of the house on a movie date... The central point didn't deliver in my opinion, Stuff packs weren't only marketed as CAS or BB but for gameplay. Idk about Boho stuff if I can't build a house with them. To build an entire house like this you'd have to buy wither City Living or Paranormal or Decor To The Max. To me Movie Hangout and one of my worst packs Bowling whatever should've been merged.
I totally agree with your assessment. I have this pack and love the bb and idea of it . I'm always putting movie theaters in my cafes, lounges and underground parks. But, it performs badly , my Sims never just sit, eat popcorn and watch the movie and 9 times out of 10 they are bored if they actually watch the movie. As someone who loves going to the movies and the whole big screen experience, it's disappointing

Sims 4 has definitely been something that loses my attention very easily. I played the Sims 3 like crazy and loved that game. I took fewer breaks from it and got a lot of joy from playing it. I don’t mind spending money on packs as long as they’re good.
think all they needed really to allow theater is them big popcorn makers and a drink fountain candy also in there just put it in a counter like they do them all could of just used a generic lot with maybe a trait to make it work and just flagged the counter to get a employee to run it like they do all the things like that in game that are on public lots i think most would have been happy with that only other thing could add is a ticket sale booth with a 2nd employee maybe for teens + maybe ability to try to sneak into movies but then u need a usher employee but that would be a tad more gameplay
You completely omitted the fact it's a Mexican/ Latin American-inspired theme pack. They're not just called "outdoorsy/cozy swatches and bohemian". Cultural awareness matters. Happy February! 👍🏾
You know what those patterns are for? For looking at under black light. In broad daylight they look like shit, but put them in a nightclub with one of the darker swatches of the glow paint/floors, and I bet it would look awesome.

I never pay attention to what pack furniture came from at this point, but seeing the items set out I had used a lot of these when I had a clown sim. Basically decorated her house in all my lease favorite and clashing swatches. I like boho but a lot of these colors were too much for me to use in most of my builds.
I really like your "Reality" scene.. indeed in trailers of many packs, they seemed wow, but when you actually play, it's kinda meh. Only suitable for people who likes to do video editing maybe
last time i had my sims watch a movie they literally couldn't. i had two sims try to watch a movie together while eating but as soon as they both sat down, the action would cancel and they would randomly stand up. it's fine for one sim but whats the point if they can't watch a movie together
I am surprised to find out how much I use this pack. Lol. I mean, my sims always watch movies together, but I rarelly notice where furniture, hair and clothes comes from. So, I am surprised it was from this pack. It is a decent one, especially from the old days, but this would easily be just a kit XD

I think it was bad that you could not build your own cinema. I build a cinema but with a cafe as build base and the biggest tv for the cinema area . But the sims doesn’t use cinema area that much.

OMG why do you do this to me XD.. and the Little Campers also looks so pretty and cozy.. again why do you do this to me XD but thanks. ..And why can't Little Campers be included inside Movie Hangout Stuff already, why separate (ok same arguments every time.. i should buy real-life playground stuff for real child instead)
I play the Sims three a lot I have several expansion packs of the sims 3 And I cannot sleep tell you there is no movie popcorn machine in the Sims three
This is one of the packs I don’t own. What’s with the posters? Do they have different descriptions? If not it should of just been one item with recolours

I love the bb with this pack!! I'm on board for anything boho, but I agree the gameplay is non-existant for this one
I bought this pack for the items, they are so colourfull and I love it!
If you ignore the gameplay and consider it as two kits, a build kit and a CAS kit, it still comes up as good value for those elements.
