You realise that apartments are like prisons with lockdown. Admins close pools and clubhouse facilities and don't bother with updates. Going out for dinner is miserable with all the screens, social distancing crap and filling in contact info in store are store. Better to be living outside the city in your own house with a bit of land.
I guess 5 stars is different there because you said that 40 thousand is the beginning of 5star living I saw some little things in the apartment that were very old the lady said it was newly renovated just the paint I think The second apartment was alot nicer than the first one for the money
55,000 pesos plus electric, internet, water will probably be extra 10-15K pesos so looking at 65-70K pesos which is about C$1850 - 2000 thats not much off than renting a one bedroom in Toronto C$2500. People who move to Asia from western world to retire are looking to save money not spend the same. Of course if ur really rich i guess u can live in comfort in BCG, but why here why not Singapore?
With that money here you are living in the best and richest area of the country (or one of the best for sure). If you wanna rent a room like that in the richest area in Toronto i doubt you will pay the same amount. If saving money is your priority you dont go to live in the luxury areas, obviously. You can live in other areas for a fraction of those prices
BGC is a nice area if you have your own car and parking space, but if you commute, not alot of choices of rides. if commuting. No train, bus service is the BGC shuttle which get full very easily. There are jeepneys, they also get full. No P2P buses. Using grab ang taxi becomes expensive during rush hours... if you’re lucky enough to get a ride.

Dan Ardales, Thank you for the encouragement. I'm glad you found the video helpful.
Honestly, BGC is pretty darn expensive in Philippines standard HAHAH 45K just for the rent is insane... my family pretty much only spends like 25-30k every month and everything is included there already, as in everything.
nice , where are you located?
@@mariapedrina2301 I spend about the same and with this pandemic I’m spending about $300 including amenities. 30 mins drive to MOA, NAIA and 40 mins drive to Makati.
How are these residential towers for earthquakes? I’ve been on the 15th floor in the Philippines during serious earthquakes and it’s scary.
ugh The first one you showed is a terrible looking apartment. Which part of the bathroom is the luxurious part exactly? For that price I'll pass. Thanks but no thanks!
I agree Carl sagan 😅. there are lots of apartment/condo in manila with that same price... along baywalk.. you got a water front view of the bay with floor to ceiling windows
at 50 to 1u can live well my rent with power internet water 100$us////
Thank u.👍
Fourty five thousand a month so expensive 😮
Jonathan Lim, Yes, very expensive.
Man Jim, BGC is nice but so dense and crowded. Great place to dine and party, but not to stay. Enjoy!
Uhmmmm! Everytime I go home yearly and check the area, it’s not as dense as the others.
Riri Za alam m tingin k mga inggiterong kapitbahay natin yan para k yan sila nakikita nagkokomento ng pangit s mga video ng pilipinas para walang pumuntang turista s atin.
A good many consulate people live in BGC going to BGC from manila to very different like another world poor to rich.
Jeepney is probably the most economic and ICONIC way to circle around
Metro Manila and it includes a wide variety of events/entertainment that
would optionally requires you to give tips and these are drummer at
the back of the jeep, singers, people who randomly gives you a small
envelope, religious activity and the most aggressive of them all the
holdduppers especially for expats like you, DONT fight them! unless you
don't want to see the next sun rise.
You will enjoy the get together of supercars every Sunday morning in Burgos Circle. We own a 2br condo in BGC we purchased way back in 2004.
Dante Canillas, Wow, I bet you are glad you bought that condo back then. What a smart buy. Thanks for watching.
Those Supercars Ferrari and Lamborghinis are too noisy. Im transfering to Manila where i xan enjoy the sounds trycycicles and jeepneys. 😂
Can you rent the place for just a month? And does the prices above includes utilities? Thanks!!!
For a month rental do Airbnd. That's the cheapest way because all the utilities are included. One bedroom is around 50USD per day in BGC
What about usa paradise Hawaii. I am looking for a CEO who is strongly in buying hotel i hit the lile button for ur youtube Mahalo. From Hawaii
Bronson Lee, Thanks for watching and taking the time to leave a comment. Yes, Hawaii is a paradise. I love it there. Mahalo
@@LivingOverseasTV Warm Aloha.....Thanks
Lot of memory, was living in pacific plaza towers , PPT, probably the best in town ..... for BGC , 265 k php à month ( 6k usd )
I still have to see a vlogger features the TRUMP TOWER in Makati, MetroManila.
Will someone please.
I know a few folks that love here. They have a very interesting swimming pool... Everyone can see you swimming... Hahahah
How will CV-19 effect the economy with zero tourists and i assume business travel for the next yr? Condos prices cratering?
Byron MaidPro -Salt Lake City, I think prices will be going down for a while and there will be many good deals.
Manila bay or ROXAS BLVD will be the next business center of Manila.
But the ROOMS ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THERE...
Good vlog, the apartment looking sad..
The gym looks really small also the game room the quality of the Pool Table it’s made for kids it seems like for the price of the apartment
800dollars for a luxury appartment? 😮😑😑😑
I pay 1500$ here per month for 1 bedroom and 1 living room, and its not even luxurious, its unfurnished and no swimming pool!😡 wtf.
@del monte , but.....you can make at least $3000/month there, over here, Manila most people make less than $500/ month, much lower in the provinces, many can’t even find a casual or part time job....
New subscriber and already enjoyed this informative video. Can’t wait to go through your other videos and thanks for being our eyes and ears in sharing the beautiful places from our hometown. God bless you 💕🇵🇭
Bathroom counter sink need renovation too i think...😂🤣😂
they affectionately call Manila " hell on earth " lol love your UA-cam sir I think I'll sit k to cebu after 56 years in NYC I want quiet less congested
I suggest Cebu bro
How I wish I could own one of the BGC's condominium unit. I love BGC it's so tidy. 🇵🇭❤️🙏😊
Is it near High Street South? Market Market?
hi there!!!! next video show condo with better price.
Noted!
Nice but
my only complain with condos in the Philippines..so small and the bathrooms are ALL terrible..check the plumbing., they always have issues with leaking.
You realise that apartments are like prisons with lockdown. Admins close pools and clubhouse facilities and don't bother with updates. Going out for dinner is miserable with all the screens, social distancing crap and filling in contact info in store are store. Better to be living outside the city in your own house with a bit of land.
Donald MacDonald, I agree. It is better to live outside the city during the lockdown.
Thanks for this helpful information but would you know whether they allow monthly rentals or does one need to sign up for 6 months to 1 year minimum?
Kar Mac, Yes, you can find monthly rentals available.
I guess 5 stars is different there because you said that 40 thousand is the beginning of 5star living
I saw some little things in the apartment that were very old the lady said it was newly renovated just the paint I think The second apartment was alot nicer than the first one for the money
Edward Annable, Yes, you are correct. 5-star is a little different. You won't get the same detail as other places but It is a general comparison.
I love phillpines friendly peoples God bless phillipines
55,000 pesos plus electric, internet, water will probably be extra 10-15K pesos so looking at 65-70K pesos which is about C$1850 - 2000 thats not much off than renting a one bedroom in Toronto C$2500. People who move to Asia from western world to retire are looking to save money not spend the same. Of course if ur really rich i guess u can live in comfort in BCG, but why here why not Singapore?
Singapore is much more expensive than that
With that money here you are living in the best and richest area of the country (or one of the best for sure). If you wanna rent a room like that in the richest area in Toronto i doubt you will pay the same amount. If saving money is your priority you dont go to live in the luxury areas, obviously. You can live in other areas for a fraction of those prices
I rented a place for dec 2020 in near Venice mall is it close to market market or serenades?
Washer AND dryer? SOLD!
Its very rare to have both of them in the philippines.
Cheaper to live in Australia
BGC is like one of the most ideal cities in Metro Manila.
The subway will run through it on 2025
Milo Milo that will be in 2025. Not now. BTW my unit is at the 31 flt of the icon condo nxt to the golf course... but i still prefer to stay at greenbelt area because of convinience of transportation and places to eat, groceries, shopping, hospital.
If you just arrived from the airport and goes straight to that place . And rent.will they rent you the apartment.immediately without reservation..??
Coz I've been planning to have a long vacation to the Philippines.
蔡文明, No, they will not have a place available at this price. This price is based on a long term lease. You would probably need to stay for at least 3 months to get this price. You may want to look on Airbnb.com for some short time options. Good luck!
Thanks for the update. Actually.am buying a house.but I need to go to Philippines.and avail immediately.at the same time.upon my arrival.i will stay already on that place..Since I cannot pay it cash..Due to restriction from the bank and I cannot carry.big amount of money..I'll just apply for installment..I travel only once in a year..But my mother.do travel to Philippines.every 2 month..It's better so she doesn't have to stay in my aunt home..When my mother goes to Philippines again..She can go and stay in my house..That's the idea
