Tips:
(1) The built-in Zlink apps we provided is for Android 11 /12 (Qualcomm snapdragon 662), if you bought the android screen from other sellers, we recommend to get the software from your supplier.
(2) After you updated it, if the new version not activated, connect the android screen to internet; if it still not work, make a photo (with the QR code) and send to us, we can activate it online, but this only for HIFIMAX'S customers, send the order number when you send it).

in fact, if your model not buy from us, or not the model we selling, we not recommend to update, since it need the activation. we don't have experience in other seller's model.

if i using carlinkit internally can i change to zlink ?

Carlinkit is external carplay dongle, if you using it, when you change to Zlink (Built-in), you have to disconnect the external carplay first, after that, connect to Zlink, that is fine.

When i connect apple carplay it utilises full screen but when i connect android auto it utilises one third of the screen.

You can check the settings of Zlink app ( before checking it , disconnect the android auto first ), in the settings, there is one option called “ HD”, set to “off” .
