You don't need the zlink app on your phone for Android Auto or Apple Carplay to work. All the zlink app does is allow you to screen mirror. Really no need to put it on your phone. Since the zlink app is from a 3rd party, you have to turn off all the app security measures on your phone to load it.

Mine did the same. I had to disconnect the Bluetooth connection & restart the stereo. Then, go into Zlink and change the settings. Once the Zlink settings are correct, it took several tries before Zlink connected to my phone and started working.

Did you ever find out how to remove that Podofo AI assistant android? I can move him around the screen, but don't want him on the screen, lol.
Just hold the robot down for 10 seconds, and he'll go away. Somewhere, I did find him in the settings where you can turn him off for good.
i did the reboot and now i have a “no command” screen that won’t go away, is there a solution for this? did this happen to anybody else?

my headunit already connected to the android phone via bluetooth but still Zlink5 not working
