- Tusen Tankar/ A Thousand Thoughts is one of the most beautiful and sad love songs ever heard. We learnt it from an archive recording of Thyra Karlsson (1912-2001), a great singer of traditional Swedish folk songs. Thyras greatest wish was to make a record so that her music could reach a new and wider audience. This never happened. Share this video and help us spread the song. I first heard this song on your debut CD, which I bought many years ago when I was a student living in Canada. I am currently in Poland, and stumbled upon this video trying to look up some Triakel and Garmarna, since my old CDs are back at my mother's place a continent away. Such lovely music, brings back so many memories! I only wish I spoke Swedish, so that I could fully appreciate it all.
💐💐Perfect songs to read the subjective forms of the clouds and to follow with a tender eye the grooves of the stems of the trees; appreciate the complex writing of the nested branches, taste the colors of the decomposition of light into water droplets in a garden, and strongly feel the wet soil of ancestral forest to perceive the traces of animals from deep past..

I keep saying that the saddest love-song I know is in A-Major of all keys. Heard this live and open air in Bonn in 1996 or 1997 and couldn't get the melody out of my head. Tried it on the harp and it worked like a charm. I still love the song - and Your version, which is the original to me, of course - and I am happy that I didn't remain the only one covering it.

God I love them. My angel bride never heard this one but she loved them too. This felt like a good song in tribute of my angel bride. So sad but beautiful. Emma is a treasure just like Brianna Lea Pruett, my favorite singer songwriter who passed just over two years ago 9 months after my angel bride Brenda. Miss them both.
