- The song Östersundsmordet is the true story about a murder in our hometown Östersund, Sweden. On the 30th April 1890 the young wife Edla Hedin, who was in an advanced state of pregnancy, stabbed her husband to death. She had made two attempts to poison him before but this time she decided to finish the job once and for all. The motive was said to be that she had been forced into marriage because she was pregnant, while she was really in love with another man. The local newspaper referred to ”a murderous urge due to pregnancy”.
The video is made by Jocke Wassberg, Manic Motion and Henrik Andersson, B.film.

Emma Härdelin has such an amazing voice.
The accent of Norrland is more beautiful than the one in the South of Sweden
Älskar allt hon sjunger utom dessa Rrrrr😅
SUPER!Emma Härdelin - love for many years!!!
The whole band is wonderful. Thank you.
Very interesting!! Sounds like a little more of a turn towards Garmarna-esqe themes - but performed with that fine Triakel folk overtones..
They are finally back... the best music from the north.
Cool och intressant låt!
Beautiful and terrifying...!
Riktigt bra 👍
My favourite music group. Look forward to hearing the whole album.
Scotia Bushcraft this song is in Swedish or in Norwegian?
@@elenhirtareldar4464 I'm English, but I think they are Swedish and that she uses a dialect from Jamtland. Translations for their older songs can be found here: www.golyr.de/triakel/index-57195.html
Hopefully someone will put up these new songs.
