So nice this 'old guy' share the experience , the raw power , the connection these old cars still give to a young generation. Immagine how these today's older gearheads have been feeling when they were young and really driving cars like this . Fantastic and thanks for sharing.
This is how you "preserve" an old car. You drive the darn thing..letting them sit they just get garage rot This dude has tons of memories made ea time he turns the key. The "afriad to drive it crowd" makes none. Its just a car, we live once so go live! Nothing like the sound of gears, a stick and solid lifter cam. Never gets old

I bought my my K code Mustang back in 1973, when I was 17. Ive drag raced it, street raced it, Autocross. Drove it up to Alaska and back. You name it we’ve done it. I still have the car. This Car is so much fun. She’s an old friend. Great Video, thanks.
SO GREAT TO HAVE YOU BACK!!!! Steve and I look about the same age. I bought my Mustang in FEB 1975 for $600. Kept her all these years, lots of repairs and a total rebuild in 2016. I was about to wish I was in SoCal with my Mustang but that car in that traffic is SCARY!!!! When I go out in mine I am often the only car on the road!!! 1000 sq mile county with about 2000 full time residents! So I'll take my trafiic any day!!!! THANKS!!!
One of your best videos yet. The production quality is just so good! You engage the viewer so well, it feels like we are right there with you, experiencing the moments. You are very lucky to have so many car guys in your family circle of friends, keep bringing their stories. I love seeing content with cars that actually get driven. That Shelby does it for me a hundred times better than a fully restored trailer queen, for sure!
Great video. I am a die hard Camaro guy, but have always like those early GT350 cars. That one is just a perfect example with the classic colors and a perfect sounding small block ford.
Fun video of a very cool GT350. I rented a Hurtz GT350H in June of 1966, ran the car hard all night, and then had a brake failure while pulling into the driveway at home. Hurtz towed the Mustang away…no charge. (Rental fee was only $19.00 per day). Thank you for sharing your videos, and your passion for cool cars.
I owned a '67 fastback Mustang in high school and this video really makes me miss that old Pony. Mine had a 351C that I completely went through, chamfering/de-flashing all of the edges of the block and heads, as well as the oil passages and returns, static balancing the rotating assembly and polishing the rod beams/piston heads, giving the heads a good once-over in the bowl and exhaust port areas to shine things up and help hold the carbon build-up downt and a DIY port match job that took a month of working and measuring - my micrometer and calipers became intimate friends, as I slowly shaped the intake runners and head ports. Next was a 9-inch posi rear end w/ 3:90 gears for hook-up. When I finally assembled that engine it was an easy job and it went together and was broken-in in a week-end. When I took it to the drag strip it ran a 13:89 first trip, at about 7K RPMs. I later brought that ET down to 12:79 at over 8K RPMs for personal-best quarter mile. That engine screamed like a Banshee and never gave me one problem. Ended up selling that car for $10K after I had won my division, altered stock. I've never been in car that felt quicker than that Mustang. I used that $10K to buy a new Triumph TR-8 in late '79 - what a disappoinment that car was , as it spent way too much time at the dealer's repair shop. Suspension and brakes were woefully under-engineered and the electrical system was problematic, at best. Ended up giving that car back to the dealer under the Lemon Law clause and bought myself a new CJ-5 Jeep that I kept for some years before it got smashed by a drunk.
That’s one of the biggest smiles I’ve seen on you Ben, looks like you really enjoyed the ride in that mustang. Good to see that you are going to have new content. It was cool of you that you gave a shout out to your dad.
Outstanding content. That guy must be true ace mechanic if he’s able to keep a car that old running and driving that good especially considering how much he pushes it around. I had a pretty nice 79 Trans Am 400/4 sp back the the early 2000’s and if I tried to drive it like this it would have probably snapped in half.
This was an awesome episode. I have a video of Steve in his car on my phone. I had no idea who he was just liked the car. I took the video when I was leaving the Petersen during the Ford vs Ferrari car show one Sunday. Awesome car. I just sent checkpoint an e-mail to see if they can do some work on my car. thanks ! Keep up the great work !
Man, I'm so glad I found this channel. I sometimes find myself getting bored with typical car review channels but that's not the case here at all. I've always been extremely impressed by your production. The cinematic shots you get look fantastic! Looking forward to your next upload. Also, it's awesome that Steve drives that beautiful Shelby the way it should be driven. What a sound!
Great video and Steve and his GT 350. I have seen him with his car at many Shelby events and at Willow Springs a couple times. I have a 65 fastback tribute GT 350 that is almost done with the restoration. When I get it back on the road it will be my daily driver. Yes you heard that right, my daily driver. It has been my daily driver since 2006 when I bought it. I stop driving it last year and had a restoration done and I’m almost ready to get it back on the road.
What a cool car and story, as well as the other oldies shown. I'm glad I found this channel...very well put together with great content. Liked and subscribed!!
I absolutely love this!!! These cars are my favorite cars, but now days people just do a walk around and a lot of talk. This is how it's done! DRIVE THAT CAR!!!! 👍🐎👍🐎👍🐎💪
Love this video. Been following you for awhile. Wish there was more of these old school kind of shops on the east coast. Keep up the great work with content!!!!
Honestly was pretty stoked when I saw a notification from you! And then to see that it was about a classic car legend is the icing on top! Keep up the great work Ben!
Hi Ben, Mark from Australia. Love your videos you are a real talent. Down here in Australia we have very few real muscle cars, most of them have too many doors. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
wow what a garage...ford nirvana, plus a few others mixed in too. living the life. so much personal history in that gt350...resto's have their place, but this has soul...and scars that tell its story
Another great video Ben. I'll bet there are plenty of equally interesting guys and Shelby's in that car club. Please get together with them and show us some more of those bad boy cars!
I have been here from the start and love the channel. I know you are a busy guy with school but we need more content. Your video composition is stellar. Love the music it flows very well with the video. Huge shout out to your DAD for all his support in all of your endeavors.
The Venice/Culver City area is some of the world's most expensive real estate - I couldn't even guess how expensive the rent on this place must be, but I'm glad it's there!
Had a clone of this car at 19 years old and it was quick and loads of fun! Trans Ams were the popular cars at the time and I could outrun them with ease, 400 pontiacs and 403 Oldsmobiles.....

You know a Shelby owner is legit when he's had his license revoked twice and is still doing donuts and clutch dumps in the neighborhood. 😁
I know right lol
Sweet to see a true driver that still looks and drives great. Trailer queens are boring.
Right on
Owning a car like that from a young age is like finding the fountain of youth. You never grow up. Love to see it!
I bet!
Absolutely mind blowing, and he drives the Shelby everywhere that’s makes it EXTREMELY EXTRA SPECIAL! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺

For sure!

I think the best part for me is that he not only has a real gt350 but he actually drives the thing
Yeah it’s awesome to see it driven

The level of refinement in your videos is truly spectacular. You convey the souls of the people and the machines expertly. Well done!
Much appreciated! It’s a lot of work
Love his collection little of everything Cobras, Hot Rods, Street Rods even sone Vintage Euro 👍
Before I knew anything about cars this was the car I wanted and loved just for the looks and the sound I think the owner is an old school legend
Awesome!
Built quite a few of those back in the day. It's nice to see someone drive it like it's meant to be driven 🤙 🇺🇸
Awesome!
It's great the content you bring us. Every time I see you I go to my garage to take out my little '65 289. Greetings from Spain
Thanks and awesome

Big fan here! 69 F100 owner but I used to own a 67 Mustang. The quality of your videos just keeps getting better. Keep up the great work. 👍🏻🇺🇸

Another great video! It is nice to see there are still guys like Steve who get out and drive these cars the way they are meant to be driven.

I worked at Carroll Shelby Enterprises building a few 65 gt350s and cobras. We built them more for performance and track use.
