Do more dude you’re good honest af
Used it on a 1999 Honda Accord, the shine was definitely noticeable. Even made some blemishes look much better. The coating also makes it harder for dust and pollen to just stick to your car..You can easily remove that with a nice soft cloth or car duster..I love it..A little pricey but worth it..
An enjoyable review to watch.
Thanks Fred.
*What I have found is, that there's nothing wrong with a reliable, well looked after older car. They have lots of character, the odd knock or scratch here and there, but who cares? And if it gets a bit of damage whilst you own it, it's no big deal, compared to owning a new car, where it would be a very big deal(!). Less stress with an older car then.
Also, I see so many people squandering their hard earned money on new cars, spending tens of thousands on one or paying hundreds of Pounds a month for finance on a car, trying to keep up with the Jones', trying to impress people etc. A big waste of money and some I hear complaining that their unhappy with their employer, saying that they should be given a pay rise, when on the other hand, they are wasting money. Ridiculous!
If an old car reliably gets you from A to B, that's all that matters.
Yes thats very true. As long as you keep up on the repairs and servicing older cars can go on for many a year. Its the electronics that fail on modern cars which take them off the road. From my experience i recon 10 years is about the balance point where repair costs increase. Depending if you can do the work yourself sometimes a new car will make sense.
@@CB-RADIO-UK 2003 Freelander, never donr e wrong. Outside its lovely (apart from looking like a hedgehog), inside is another matter...
Just used a clay bar. Now getting ready to apply this product. Putting this on my black 2007 Lexus SC430.
Use it on my bald head - works a treat with a great shine and the rain just runs straight off lol.
Greetings from South Africa - thanks for your review - Shine Armor is currently the cheapest ceramic application you can buy over here.
How long does it last on your car
Well, I'm sold! Thank you!
I’ve just purchased some more over the internet, only because the slickness of this product is unreal, you can feel with out a dought where you have put it on and where not.
Mr Fred we need to see this on a microphone now for the sweaty summer hands . Great video i may trey this on my car
Looks good Fred,if you wanted to remove those scratches use a cutting compound and then a fine polish.
Finally apply a layer of wax to protect.👍
Hi. Yes i guess i could buff the paint but to be fair its pretty old and had many years at car washers before i got it. It still cleans up pretty well though.
I used this product on 2 cars twice...In other words 4 applications and I love it. I will buy it again...I noticed in the video, the people were not using the cloths that came with the spray. If you follow directions it will be the best shine you ever saw...Not only that, it lasted more than 1 year between applications in the hot Texas sun...
I would never use in on a dirty car though...Wash the car first, then follow directions to the letter...You will be amazed...Those who don't like is are not following directions.
How long does it last?
@@adamv6829 My cars seemed to retain the shine about 1 year.
@@johndoe-wh7lc did you wait 24 hour to apply second coat?
Fred, you can retest this product on my car anytime you wish. lol. I think your car looks great. Hopefully it will last a few months. That will be the true test my friend. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers Andy
Always remember to shake the bottle before you use#
For an old Volvo that paint still look to be in great shape even before the shine armor
Thanks. They built them well back then.
Thanks for sharing mate
That’s brilliant polish my friend , Turtle wax came out with a new one similar as that one. I’m going to do my tank cover on my bike I do a video for ya before and after cheers my friend
You didn’t read the instructions it says to apply it onto the wet cloth and work in lines, definitely not in circles
it shines well
She looks well Fred. Lets see the longevity of it now
Yes George that will be important. I will prob do the other car as it gets used more.
@@CB-RADIO-UK How has it held up these past months?
Keen to know also
Showroom shine👍🏻
Interesting.....best wishes Fred......Bob
@Fred in the Shed, hello, would you like to review the new MJJC foam cannon pro? Thank you.
I truly believe that expensive car cleaning stuff is a waste of money, and iv spent literally kks over the years on every expensive brand because i believed it was the best, then I got a car I didn't really like, so I started getting cheaper stuff and turtle wax do some of the best car cleaning products iv ever used, iv gone from a box of products wich cost me around £400 to a box with 4/5 products in costing around £50 and the car looks unbelievable in around 1.5 hours and stays shiny for around 6 weeks 🤷♂️
How about the roof of my Toyota tacoma
Was this the 8oz bottle?
ceramic polish unlike as the name would suggest is not really a polish, its a protective layer.
Yep bang on.
Cool~
Can you post an update of how long it lasted and if it left swirl Mark's? Whether it beads when it rains, collects dust quickly etc. Thanks
Hi yes already done here you go. ua-cam.com/video/hVQhdc2icD4/v-deo.html
To SWR a silver rod extend it to its full length and ten look for a felt tip mark on the first lower section which is normally placed by the seller. Measure and mark 1 inch lines either side of the first mark. Simply raise or lower from the orig line till the lowest SWR is reached on Channel 20. Thats a basic setting. You can also move the top section up or down for fine tuning if required. See beginning of this video. ua-cam.com/video/79mXsXZjJw0/v-deo.html
it looked a lot sharper, yeah that car wax leaves white on plastic parts; everyone can see..
Bought the prduct via Tik Tok. Instructions are unclear on bottle on how to use which is why I came here. No microclothes supplied. Seems one damp (not wet) microcloth used to clean surface of paint then spray onto paint the Shine Armor and then wipe away before it dries with the clean dry microcloth.
Yes apply with a damp cloth and then buff straight away. Dont let the product dry. Dont apply in sunlight.
Speaking as a pro car detailer. Car wax will give 3 to 6 months.
Autoglym IMHO is garbage.
Most pro grade car waxes dont give the white talcum powder. No one wants to spend hours chasing white dust around a car. Time is money afterall
Good day Fred. Does it actually remove scratches, as advertised?
Hi. No not that i noticed. I think you might need a standard rubbing compound.
Food stuff, but the price!!!! I think they are being a bit greedy, I hope it lasts its three month!
Forgot just how nice those Volvos where
THANKS FRED 68CTO22
How long does this product stay on the car please?
3-4 months
@@CB-RADIO-UK Thank you very much, do we need to wash the car at this time or miss a little spray
Any review that doesn't point out that Shine Armor sucks is not accurate.
